well ive started a expansion franchise with the Las Vegas Outlaws. They will be in the AL west. Ive choosen to use fisherbach stadium as my home stadium. I will be posting my roster as soon as i can. thanks for your patience. see you all very soon.

well i cant wait to post my game results any longer... so ill get to my roster as soon as i can. but here is a recap of what how my season has started....


Welll it looked grim for the expansion team going into their first regular season game against the mightly red sox. Schilling was going and going good, throwing heat and more heat. The outlaws starter Vazquez was up for the challenge though, going 8 inings and giving up just 2 runs on 7 hits. the offense for the Outlaws started out slowly and didnt get anything on the board til the sixth inning when Russell Branyan steped up with tow on and blasted one out to center to give the Outlaws a 3-0 lead.

It just kept getting worse for Boston from there. The flood gates would open after the Sox pen came in. In the 7th inning.. the sox brought in Timlin, he proceeded to give up a homer to durham. In the 8th inning Mendoza would come in and give up anotehr homer to bellhorn. here is some of the stats from the opener for the outlaws

Vazquez 8 i.p 7 h 2 r 2 er 0 bb 2 k's 0 hr's 2.25 era
Eischen 1.0 o.p no runs no hits no k's no walks

the game would remain that way til david bell came up in the seventh and got ahold of one off of wakefiedl to make it a 2-1 game. Wakefield had the ball dancing all game... then in the 8th inning... durham tied it with a shot into center for his second hr of the seaosn.

i literally jumped out of my seat when it went out.. i was excited like it was a real game.. then the pitchers duel began agian... until the 12th inning with one on and one out.. and a runner on second... bell comes up and drives one into left center past a diving manny to give the outlaws the win!!!!!

Well i miss read the shcedule and i was NOT playing another game against th red sox...

anyway the outlaws suffered their first loss of the season to the tigers. final score was 4-2

Sean Casey playing with a sore back and mark behorn playing with a sore shoulder.

but a good thing is that burrell stayed hot and hit another homer...

inge for detroit hit a homer in det but there were no stadium affects.. to tiger eyes or growls or anything.

TIGERS EAT OUTLAWS FOR LUNCH!!

Well this makes two losses in a row for the outlaws. jason Johnson for the tigers pitched a complete game 5 hitter only surrendering one run. ponson didnt have his best stuff out there today, giving up 3 runs on 10 hits but he did manage ot K 4 batters. Hopefully the outlaws can ride out of town after the next game with their heads held high.

TIGERS EAT OUTLAWS FOR LUNCH!!

Well this makes two losses in a row for the outlaws. jason Johnson for the tigers pitched a complete game 5 hitter only surrendering one run. ponson didnt have his best stuff out there today, giving up 3 runs on 10 hits but he did manage ot K 4 batters. Hopefully the outlaws can ride out of town after the next game with their heads held high.
