      The Heat Take a Hit

Everyone knew it was too good to be true. Shaquille O'Neal suffered a groin injury and will be out at least 3 weeks. Shaq is only averaging 20.6 points and 8.5 rebounds per contest.

          Rubber Game @ Cleveland

The Bobcats and the Cavaliers meet again after a great game in Charlotte, at least for Cats' fans. LeBron had an exceptional individual performance last time, but it was not enough.

This time, Charlotte came out and immediately shut down the Cleveland crowd with an array of jumpshots and contesting defense. It looked like Cleveland was in for a blowout, to be embarassed at home by the expansion Bobcats.

In the second half however, Cleveland started their 15-point comeback, but didn't close the gap until 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. The Bobcats were up 6 once again, but LeBron started showing signs of greatness. He hit a 3 pointer, and assisted another 3-pointer hit by unsung Eric Snow. After a Charlotte turnover, LeBron take the ball the length of the floor and dished off to a cutting Jeff McInnis, who would score the eventual winning basket. Cleveland comes back to win, 84-82.

          CHA: 48 rebounds, 14 ORebs, 36% FGs
          CLE: 43 rebounds, 9 ORebs, 47% FGs

          Charlotte Bobcats
Tamar Slay 25 points, 8/20 FG, 7 rebounds, 4 assist
Emeka Okafor 8 points, 6 rebounds
Eddie House 12 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals
Gerald Wallace 6 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals

          Cleveland Cavaliers
LeBron James 16 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assist, 7 steals
Zydraunus Illgauskus 14 points, 12 rebounds

And tha crowd goes wild!!! Good game Lebron

Nice read. I just beat the Bobcats at Charlotte by 32 pts I think. But the first few contests were fairly close.

                  Defending Champs Host the Bobcats

The defending Champions are off to a wonderful start this season as 7-1, still on top their team-oriented and defensive success of game.

Charlotte came out hitting their jumpshots and were on the boards, particularly the offensive boards. The Pistons got on top of their game, however, in the second half. Chauncey Billups started taking over the offensive flow of the game, feeding a cutting Rip Hamilton. Ben Wallace was his usual self and grabbed a season high 22 rebounds.

In the final 3 minutes, Gerald Wallace did his best to keep his team in the game, but it wasn't enough. The Pistons hold on , and win 87-78.

Bobcats: Take Two in Charlotte against Detroit

After at least hanging with the defending with the champs of last year in the previous game, Charlotte takes this game to the C-Set in hopes of making a name by beating Detrot.

Detroit came out and was playing their normal team ball combined with tenacious defense. Ben Wallace showed an unexpected surge of offense, and scored season high with 20 points.

Detroit was up BIG by the end of the first half, 55-39, and they never looked back. Charlotte loses another game at home, 100-78.
