Re: Bobcats: Take Two in Charlotte against Detroit

Ahh, the Pistons got the best of you again.

You can't really be ashamed or anything, but it would've been huge for your team to take one of those games.

    What's your overall record?

Eh, that's not too bad for an expansion team. If you keep it up, you'll win over 20 games. Who would you say your "go-to guy" is so far?

It looks like you have a pretty balanced attack, but may need some guys to step it up on the defensive end. Good read, keep it up.

My go to guy? It really depends, like I've said. It was Melvin Ely until he got hurt..I believe he's about to be out of the infirmary though. Right now, I like to score with Gerald Wallace. He's a good offensive rebounder. And Tamar Slay gets to the basket against all of the smaller guards.

                        Indiana hosts the Cats

The Bobcats (3-7) travel to Indianapolis to face the Pacers (8-4), who are in hopes of getting over the hump and winning the title.

The Bobcats were able to hold it close for the first half with their defensive pressure. Jermaine O'Neal was causing problems for Darius Songaila, but Songaila was hitting a lot of shots in the post, so this was a good match up.

The Cats got down big in the first half however, and were down by 16 at the half. The second half was a second story, though. Jason Kapono caught some kind of fire and single handedly brought his team back into the game. Kapono finished with 29 points, on 10/21 shooting. Still, Indiana was able to hold the lead, and won the game in high scoring fashion, 113-107.

                        Charlotte Bobcats

Darius Songaila 19 points, 8 rebounds
Tamar Slay 14 points, 6 rebounds
Emeka Okafor 12 points, 6 rebounds

                        Indiana Pacers
                        Jermaine O'neal 22 points, 23 rebounds
Ron Artest 21 points, 9 rebounds
Jamaal Tinsley 16 points, 11 assist
Anthony Johnson 12 points, 11 assist

Mm, tough loss. I was hoping you could pull that one out..

Kapono had a monster game for you.. geez.

Okafor isn't really doing much, though..

Hopefully you can turn this around, soon.

                                Hinrich on the Block

Kirk Hinrich, the second year man out of Kansas is not a happy man right. The Bulls have placed him on the trading block after he openly admitted that he believes this team is going nowhere fast, and that games are getting irrelevent quick.

                                The Bulls are 1-9.

Kirk is leading his team in points and assist (14.1 points per game, 6.7 assist per game) and 5.4 rebounds per game.
