Re: Run Through the Jungle. (NCAA 10)
I just realized Aaron Corp transfered to Hawaii and he is killing it with 27 touchdowns and only 3 picks. Also, he has Hawaii in the top 25....It's crazy.Comment

After the close game last week WKU needs to be more focused. As the conference is starting to wine down and it is easy for teams to lose focus, because they think they have conference in the bag. Also, WKU has a two week bye after this game which means if they don't win they can't redeem themselves till three weeks later. FAU is possibly the most sound defensive team in the Sun Belt. So its up to Josh Robinson to manage the game and not turn it over, like he has been doing all season. Plus, the dynamic duo of Chris Smith and Bobby Rainey need to produce to keep the ball out of the air. Our money is on WKU, but FAU could shake the house with an upset don't let their record fool you.Comment

WKU's run game was non existent, but Josh Robinson stepped up to carry the team on his back. Robinson finished the day with 287 yards, two touchdowns, and a 74% completion percentage. Plus, the defense stepped up in the Red Zone defense department, shutting FAU out in the Red Zone. All in all, it looks like WKU has their second conference title in the bag and the are going to be headed to a bowl game.
Derrius Brook, (RS)Senior, makes the tough catch in the end zone to put the Hilltoppers up 7-0.
The rushing game had a hard day. Except for Chris Smiths 6 yard scamper for the score.
Josh Robinson stepped, Freshman, up when he was needed once again. Throwing for 287 yards and two touchdowns.

WKU is in the top 25 in the nation! This is the first time ever for WKU and it is all thanks to coach Taylor who has done a fantastic job with the Hilltoppers. WKU has had a long time to prepare for this game, so expect them to come out firing on all cylinders and roll over this Ark St team. Also, this is the final conference game and WKU wants to sweep the conference bad, plus they would like to keep their top 25 rank. This is a warm up game for next week against Georgia Tech....Most of you remember how close that was and WKU is looking for revenge.Last edited by DerkontheOS; 09-24-2009, 03:18 AM.Comment
