I actually haven't tried to trade this year yet, do you put players on the trade block and you get immediate offers? or do you wait a week or so and get offers?

You actually got offered a 2nd for Orton?? WOW!

you get immediate offers provided there are teams interested..
and to add even more depth to it, sometimes you get additional offers as the weeks go by

ie: I set up my trade block on wk1 of the reg season
got immediate offers from multiple teams for 3rd round picks, by week 2 i had another offer from 1 single team, Buffalo offering a 2nd rounder

Kyle Orton ain't a bad QB, def worth a 2nd rounder.. what Buffalo doesn't know is that he's riding my bench aka worthless to me so yeah, haha!

This was a good game even though it was a loss.. it looked like my team was in awe of the Patriots early on and got jumped to a 14-0 deficit. They gathered themselves in the 2nd qtr though and even had a 17-14 lead going into halftime. Unfortunately, Brady is still Brady and the Patriots are still the Patriots. What annoyed me about this game is how they exploited every weakness my team had. Welker was racking up the YAC mercilessly and Tom was gashing us up the middle throwing at will. Moss ran crossing routes getting seperation and it all added up to a L. At least my team ran with them.. that's a good sign, we know we can run with the best of the pack!

This game was never in doubt and it was great to see my wideout Eddie Royal, 2nd on my depth chart finally make an impact on a game this season. He's pretty much been invisible all year and it seems the only time he gets to touch the ball is on kickoff returns. It's not Stafford's time yet and we were never threteaned so I even gave my 2nd stringers like QB Brady Quinn and my rookies some playtime late in the 3rd.

This is why no divisional game is easy.. specially a rivalry one! San Diego is a tough team since they have a very prolific offense and I wonder what kind of year they would be having if they didn't lose a key player like LB Shawn Merriman .. this was a grind-it-out game and I am just glad to have come away with the dubya.. my insistence on running the football and Tebow not forcing anything downfield but rather dumping off to his FB and HB on short passes eventually led to the game-clinching play-action TD pass.

This is why you run the football, it sets up the play-action.. this happened to be the 4th qtr game-winning PA pass executed to perfection!

it's his 2nd year, he did mediocre-average during the first season going 5-11 besides, the way I call the game

it's the defense and run attack that rules

Tebow just does short-middle passes until he gets lucky and finds Damyrius Thomas streaking free at times

but yea, Tim's actually a pretty good qb in the game, he's a very capable game manager.. for instance, if I sub Brady Quinn in.. I can't get going on offense *at all*

Just blowing them out 2 weeks ago to the tune of 40-3, I was worried entering this game and sure enough the Raiders came out and played very physical. Tebow had an awful game missing targets, unable to convert 3rd down, throwing 2 costly INT's and could not get the offense going whatsoever. Thankfully, my Defense is still my defense and returned the favor in kind. Defense ruled the day and we were fortunate to come out with the W.

THE GOOD
-it is a delight to watch my defense.. they simply cannot be attacked thru the air and if they are such as the case against the Patriots, it's mostly thru the middle Bingo and Champ simply dominate the opponents' top wideouts
-Knowshon Moreno continues to carry the offense on his back, he's a great all purpose back and I love throwing screen passes to him
- continuing for a playoff push! never imagined this kind of success in year 2 but it just shows how productive my offseason has been.. from 5-11 to 9-1 !!

THE BAD
-Tim Tebow needs to step it up a bit he's had a couple of bad games in a row now and is being bailed out by the defense and the running attack.. his 3rd down conversions are in the pits as of late and he needs to step his game up come playoff-time.
