As the playoff push has begun, every single game becomes dangerous specially against those teams with playoff aspirations. The Jaguars may have a 5-6 record but they have their eyes on making it to the playoffs and my team must be ready not to have a letdown game.

glad to see your having a good year. I have a question for you. Could you tell me if Tony Romo is still the QB for Dallas and if so what his overall is.

thank you it certainly didn't look that way considering how awful they were last year 5-11 and losing my 1st round pick (4th overall) during the preseason for 9 weeks.. I never expected to be this succesful but hell I stumbled on a new dominating blueprint of a defense...

double island shutdown corners, a strong middle DT line, and killer LB's to support

Your Cowboys are actually doing pretty good, as it stands in week 13 they're 1 game behind the Eagles in the NFC East at 7-5 and are fighting the Saints and Packers for the wildcard

... I will be honest with you, I am a Cowboys fan myself too I *AM* a Tuna disciple so for the years he was there, I was a Cowboys fan so I know all your players/etc and that team is as familiar to me as my own JETS. All our guys are still on the team and still kicking ***...
            J. Witten 97, D. Ware 97, T. ROMO 91, J. Ratliff 91, A. Gurode 90, M. Austin 89, M. Jenkins 89.. F. Jones 85!! M. Barber 84!!

after this franchise ends who knows I may end up doing a Cowboys chise.. but probably the dolphins.. haha, Tuna disciple after all

What an utterly *weird* game this was.. the final score is an illusion. I was upset at Tim Tebow for having his 3rd consecutive game where the offense has struggled and the defense keeps bailing him out. The offense stumbled and struggled for the ENTIRE FIRST HALF!! In fact our first touchdown came as a result of a pick6 by LB star DJ Williams.. but then the 2nd half came and I guess the Jaguars got tired for being on the field so much and we finally manufactured some long sustained touchdown-drives which is exactly what I want my offense to be.

Still, it's a bit worrysome seeing my offense struggle so much considering how close the playoffs are.. at 11-1 I should have more confidence in my offense but they are being carried by the defense right now and not pulling their weight at all.

I should be happy. I really should be happy. The Patriots lost and the Broncos now hold the best record in the entire NFL. We've clinched the division, maybe homefield throughout, a bye even. After being crushed off a play-action and fumbling which led to the Chiefs' only score, Tim Tebow finally picked himself up and broke out of his now 4-game slump and manufactured drives which ended in TD's. I should be happy..

However, midway through the 3rd qtr, MLB DJ Williams was injured.. and the Injury Report post-game made my heart sink.
MLB DJ Williams - Torn Pectoral: Out for the season.

There are no words to express my thoughts or feelings right now.. to lose him at this point of the year in what should be my team preparing for a huge playoff run.. this is beyond my imagination. DJ Williams is the heart and soul of my defense. He holds the fort down and is one of the reasons I can get by without having any true Defensive End. He. holds. the. fort. down.

He is the reason Elvis Dumervil can fly around during the game making plays everywhere. You take him away and I am unsure what I am left with. Sure I can try to move R. Ayers which I moved to a DE spot during the pre-season back to his natural LB role but that just exposes my line even more.

There are no free agents to be had, no trades to be made, I just lost the heart and soul of my defense entering the playoffs.. I should be happy with how my team is doing and with the current NFL results but I just cannot find it in me.

I am worried, and yes, nervous.. I just lost MLB DJ Williams.. damn it all.

Previous series before this was Tebow being crushed on a PA-pass, fumbling the ball which KC recovered and ran back 70+yds for a TD. What do I do? same situation, same part of the field, PA-pass once again and Tebow stands, gets crushed, but delivers!

Gameplan against the pass. Holmes and Edwards are fast as it is, and losing your MLB will hurt, especially since Keller can burn most starting MLBs.

truthfully, I am going to use the remaining 3 games mostly to patch-fix my defense, losing MLB DJ Williams is disastrous..

I will take this chance to use the final games as prepwork for the playoffs.. moving DE R. Ayers (85ovr) back to his LB role (75ovr) is not out of the question..

I did use my 2nd round pick last draft on a DE so I have to bite the bullet somewhere and maybe start him there..

we'll see how the games go but damn.. I never expected this and frankly, I am shocked

We lost this game because of turnovers. Specifically, down by 7 points in the 3rd qtr, my rookie HB fumbled on the punt return which led to a Jets' TD tying the game up. My defense did not look as bad as I feared it to be, they still flew around making plays and Bingo and Champ still cannot be contested.. however the loss of MLB DJ Williams was felt in more ways than one. We could not stop the run, nor were we able to generate enough pressure on the QB and the middle of the field was wide open to crossing routes and streaks.

Tim Tebow *has* to step his game up.. I need long productive scoring drives.. he simply cannot be carried by this defense anymore. The opponent is keying on Knowshon loading the box with 8 guys and the run game is struggling a bit and Tebow has to make them pay for it.

Being this close to the playoffs, I am not panicking but I see now that drastic moves have to be made as my defense got gassed in the 4th qtr and simply could not stop the Jets anymore. R. Ayers who have played as a LE all season long may move back to his old LB position to give us a much needed patch and I may have to simply bite the bullet and start my 2nd round pick, K. Kendrick (72ovr, B pot) as the LE.. what other options do I have? I have to go with what I have..

This is very well done, kind of agree about the more difficult sliders comment but regardless, I will continue checking on this

The Packers are pretty much out of the race since their QB Aaron Rodgers went down with an injury, but this isn't about them. It's about my team defense trying to find the magic, the chemistry if you will that it had with DJ Williams holding the fort down middle.

                                LE R. Ayers (85) to MLB-1 (78)
                                LE-2 J. Bannan (77) to LE-1 (77)
                                LE-3 M. Spears (74) to LE-2

Several moves has been made pre-game and I was hoping to see how it played out against Aaron, one of the best QBs in the game not against a backup. Hopefully, the defense will take this game to gel together considering R. Ayers have been at LE all year long and is suddenly back at MLB now..
