Bye Week: An Interview with Coach Reginald Crawford

Sean: We're here with the new coach of the Oakland Raiders Reignald Crawford
Crawford: Thanks for Having Me
Sean: The Raiders have gotten off to a rough start, but last week you guys were able to pick up your first win against your divisional rivals the Denver Broncos, do you see this win as a turning point for the season?
Crawford: Oh yea sure, it's always a boost to get your first win, no matter how deep into the season. Everything we've been working twoards in the last few games finally came together in Denver.
Sean: How has the players accepted your scheme after spending an entire offseason forgetting their previous scheme, learning Dennis Allens scheme, then having to relearn your scheme.
Crawford: Well thats alot for players to handle in such a short time and i think they've handled it very well. We've been in every game so far and our win loss record doesn't exactly reflect the skill level of this team.
Sean: The Problems between you and Quarterback Carson Palmer has been well documented, he was very receptive of Allens new scheme, and was none too happy with the scheme you choose to impliment, has that had any correlation with his poor play on the field?
Crawford: Well first, i think Carson has been playing well with the situation he's in. And yes we've had some spouts in practice but Carson is a professional and hasn't let anything affect him between the white lines. He's a Gamer, through and through.
Sean: The defense has played exceptionally well, was that something you expected coming into the season.
Crawford: Well the Raiders organization did a great job acquiring athletes to make up their defense and they're been coming together incredibly well. Seymour has set an atmosphere in the locker, play hard and don't make mistakes. Can't ask for much more than that from these guys.
Next week you guys go up against an explosive offense in Atlanta, any thoughts about that?
Sean: Have a defense just as explosive.
Sean: Thanks for your time
Crawford: No problem. Go Raiders.
