Middle Georgia State: The Newest Addition to the Peach State

What's up guys. So when I first started my Cathedral dynasty, I placed Idaho as a TeamBuilder with their stadium set as the Georgia Dome, thinking I could use it as a temp 'home stadium' and have my logo, end zone text, etc (because who cares about Idaho???). That didn't work so it was pretty pointless. Now Idaho is just a team that plays 2,000 miles away at the Dome.

With http://forums.operationsports.com/fo...ditor-wip.html, I'm now able to edit Idaho's slot and make them into a different team with new uniforms, stadium, and all that. So with the Vandals actually dropping a level, I figured I'd create them into a team I could eventually develop a rivalry with.

I came up with Middle Georgia State, and soon afterward found out it's an actual institution that has recently transitioned as a state college. Cool storyline, so with me being in 2020, let's suppose they've since started up a football program and made the quick one year transition from FCS to FBS.

You guys can fill out some of the roster. Make as many players as you want. I'll be creating the team and your players in-game next year of the Cathedral dynasty.

Football was officially announced at Middle Georgia State in 2019 following six years of feasibility study. The Pirates took the gridiron the following season as an FCS Independent, where they played a single season of competition. On February 12, 2020, MGA Football announced its intentions to move up to the FBS subdivision and the C-USA in 2021.

Will not be able to play zone coverage at first, he is pass rusher all the way. He's even raw in his run defense but with some coaching, he can develop into a 3 down player. But until then he is going to have to make it because at DE he is the best they have. He has NFL athletic potential but will have to develop a lot if he wants to be drafted by his senior year, his best hope now is as an UDFA. Mitchell had offers from the bigger Florida schools, but he couldn't make the grades. He took some summer courses however to end up eligible to play for Middle Georgia State.

Off the football field he isn't going to wow you with a 40 time or a 3 cone drill, but when you put the pads on he will flat out find the football. Struggles in man coverage, you're better off sending him to the QB. Wouldn't be surprised to see him in the NFL or on the news for breaking someones neck.

In the middle of his junior year HC Phillip Haywood approached him and said "How many colleges are looking for a 6'5 post man?" and thus an added dimension to Belfry's option attack was born: the deep ball. Morgan was natural. Had he played all 4 years perhaps he would have received bigger offers, but Coach Haywood delivered on his promise by connecting with a former assistant of his down at Georgia Tech. Georgia Tech showed some walk-on interest (they like big bodied WR and run the same offense), but the poor EKY boy couldn't afford that so they connected him to a guy at MGSU who immediately offered the freak of nature athlete. He will need to spend some time in the weight room and a lot of time running routes but he has a shot at MGSU now.
