    CLEMSON STAYS PERFECT AND #1!!

The Clemson Tigers took care of business in the SEC Championship defeating Florida State (49-10) securing their spot as the #1 team in the nation at a perfect 13-0 and a spot in the BCS Championship game.

STANFORD DEFEATS UCLA FOR PAC-12 TITLE AND JUMPS TO #2

The Stanford Cardinals held off a 4th Quarter comeback by the UCLA Bruins to win the Pac-12 title game (35-28). With the win over the previously ranked #3 Bruins, the Cardinals have jumped up to #2 in the nation and will meet Clemson in the title game. With the loss UCLA drops to #5 and will wait to see where the selection committee chooses for them to play.

AUBURN UPSETS #2 LSU TO WIN SUNBELT TITLE!

The Auburn Tigers had little chance moving up 5 spots to #2 to play for a National Title but after their (42-17) blowout win over former SEC and now SunBelt Rival LSU, they at least have the satisfaction of knowing LSU isn't going to play for the title either.

With the win Auburn jumps to #4, well LSU falls to #6. With the win Auburn has secured the automatic bid to the Sugar Bowl, well LSU will await the BCS committees decision on whether or not they want a rematch game vs these 2 teams or if they will send #5 UCLA to the Sugar and LSU to the Rose to face #7 Boise State.

BOISE STATE WIN'S MOUNTAIN WEST AND ROSE BOWL BID

For the 2nd straight year Boise State is headed to the Rose Bowl, after defeating Oregon (38-28) in the MWC Championship. BSU (12-1) will either face UCLA or LSU for the chance at repeating as Rose Bowl Champs.

TEXAS IS HEADED TO FIESTA BOWL!!

The #8 Texas Longhorns are headed to Arizona to face off against #6 Colorado State in the Fiesta Bowl after defeating Baylor (41-21) in the American Conference Championship.

As you might remember, the CSU and Texas squared off against each other 2 years ago in a non-conference game in which A. Clayton guided the Rams to the upset victory over the ranked Longhorns

GOPHERS TAKE DOWN BUCKEYES IN BIG 10 TITLE GAME!!

Minnesota got revenge on OSU after their (28-27) loss earlier in the season by defeating the Buckeyes (38-29) to win the title and earn a spot in the Orange Bowl. As per the new ruling by the BCS, the Gophers will face off against the winner of the CUSA Championship after the ACC has produced lack last opponents the last 3 years.

    OTHER CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK SCORES

Ole Miss defeated Temple (31-24) to win the CUSA Title.
    W. Michigan defeated UConn (35-14) to win the MAC Title
UNC defeated W. Virginia (31-24 in OT) to win the ACC Title

RAMS/LONGHORNS BATTLE FOR FIESTA BOWL TITLE!!

With the return of JR QB A. Clayton the discussion over who should be the starting QB has been quite the debate in Fort Collins and around the nation, and after last week's win over Nebraska in the Big 12 title game, the answer still is unknown.

Clayton made the start and played the 1st half, well Freshman Jakari Magnum started the 2nd half and finished the game. Magnum ended with the higher QB rating, more passing yards and a higher completion % despite both QB's throwing 2 INT's.

However as the captains walked back from mid field after the coin toss it was JR QB A. Clayton warming up on the sidelines that would get the nod from K-Moore, the start was his.

Texas won the choice to kick giving the Rams the ball first, but Clayton like his first start back in the Championship game was rusty from a 10 week layoff and would throw a INT to set up a Longhorn score. Then after failing to convert the 1st down, the Ram's were forced to punt and Texas pounced making quick work of the defense as Texas takes a (14-0) lead into the 2nd Quarter.

Clayton again struggled in his 3rd series ending it yet another INT which was converted into a 42 yd FG to make it (17-0) with 6 minutes to play in the half. But after a nice 22 yd gain by DeAngelis, the play action pass worked to perfection as Clayton hits Baker on a 45 yd bomb to put the Ram's on the board (17-7). With some "MO" going their way, the Ram's D steps up picking off Texas QB Q. Thomas to set up another CSU score as C. DeAngelis rumbles in from 9 yds out to make it (17-14) with 4 minutes to play.

After a 20 yd gain, Texas's offense goes 3 and out and is forced to punt with with 2:44 to play in the half, and Colorado State jumps on the opportunity as Cameron DeAngelis breaks a huge run to set up another Clayton TD as CSU takes the (21-17) lead into the half.

Texas opens the 2nd half with a score to retake the lead (24-21), but Clayton was filling it now as he goes 7/7 including a 6 yd strike to TE A. Francis to make it (28-24). Then after another forced Punt, Clayton adds another score hitting D. Flanagan on a 23 yd strike to make it (35-24) as we head to the final quarter of play.

Down by 2 scores things didn't look good for Texas with about 6 minutes to play as starting QB Q. Thomas leaves with a injury, but backup M. Bryant delivers throwing a 19 yd TD strike to D. Washington to make it (35-31). After a failed onside kick attempt, it was Jakari Magnum guiding the Ram's onto the field. The Freshman would complete 4/6 for 58 yds to set up a 4th and 1 opportunity inside the 10. Most coaches in the nation would take the field goal and make it a 7 point game, but K-Moore isn't most coaches as he calls in the play. FB J. Carpenter takes the handoff and barrels forward through the line picking up the 1st down, but before going down, Carpenter is hit and fumbles the ball, as Texas takes over off the turnover.

Texas wastes little time in putting the ball into the endzone as Thomas re enters the game to guide the 4 play scoring drive, including a 42 yd run by Thomas as Texas takes the lead. Up 37-35, Texas attempts to go for 2pt but fails to convert leaving it a 2 point game with less then 2 minutes on the clock.

A Field goal wins the game, but SR RB Cameron DeAngelis has a different idea as he takes the handoff breaks 3 tackles and is gone for a 72 yd score to put CSU back on top (41-37), with a 4 point lead, K-Moore also has CSU go for 2pt and again DeAngelis delivers taking the direct snap out of the Wildcat in for the score to make it (43-37) with 1:12 to play.

Texas would have 1 more chance but after a complete pass to move the ball to the 50, Thomas would look to do it again, but this time D. Callahan was ready as he picks off the pass to secure the win. After burning their final timeout, Texas was left with nothing to do but watch CSU down the ball and run out the clock to take home the coveted Fiesta Bowl Title.

        FINAL SCORE CSU-43 TEXAS-37

        KEY STATS
        QB A. Clayton-19/25 284 yds 3 TD 2 INT

          CLEMSON IS YOUR NATIONAL CHAMPS!!

The Clemson Tigers vs Stanford Cardinals N.C. matchup will be one talked about for years to come. Trailing (26-14) going into the 4th, Stanford scores to 2 TD's to take the (27-26) lead with less then 2 minutes to play, but Clemson never gives up and with 20 seconds on the clock J. Dickerson nails a 21 yd FG to give the Tigers the lead and the eventual victory. (29-26)

BOISE STATE REPEATS AS ROSE BOWL CHAMPS!!

With a (42-28) win over LSU, the Boise State Broncos have repeated as Rose Bowl champs since K-Moore left his O.C. position to take over as CSU.

For the 2nd straight year Boise State's QB has also won the Heisman as SR QB Bobby Parham takes home the award. A 1 year starter, Parham made the most of it passing for 3929 yds with 39 TD's and 0 (yes zero) INT's. Parham was also one of the nations best dual threat QB's as he finished with 799 yds and 11 scores on the ground as well.

Besides winning the Heisman, Parham was also named the Maxwell, Walter Camp and Davey O'Brien award winner as well.

OLE MISS SHOCKS THE GOPHERS IN ORANGE BOWL!!

Minnesota entered the game with only 1-1 point loss on the season, well the Rebels came in with 5 L's to their resume, but a 4th Quarter comeback gives Ole Miss the (38-31) win..

AUBURN BEATS UCLA IN SUGAR BOWL IN OT!!

The Auburn Tigers kept the BCS Bowl excitement alive as they defeat the Bruins (34-31) in Overtime, as all 4 major games pus the Championship are decided by 1 TD or less.

IS KELLEN MOORE LEAVING COLORADO STATE!!

Rumors are several top teams in the nation have targeted CSU Head Coach Kellen Moore as their top choice to turn around their struggling programs.

Since retiring from the NFL, Moore has been just as successful in his coaching career as his college playing career.

As the Offensive Coordinator Moore over saw the #1 passing attack in the nation and a Top-5 scoring attack that saw Boise win 4 straight Mountain West Titles, a Sugar Bowl victory and a Rose Bowl win before leaving for CSU.

Taking over a team that went 2-10 the previous year, Moore's high scoring vertical passing game found instant success as the Rams went 10-3 in Year 1 winning the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl as Moore's Offensive attack continue to be the #1 in the nation, and now coming off a (13-1) season and win over Texas in the Fiesta Bowl, his name is on top of every school's wish list.

Here is a list of the schools making him offers. Some are former powerhouse programs looking to return to their glory days well others are programs hoping lighting does strike twice in a bottle, with visions of Moore turning their programs into something.

The Florida Gators havn't seen much success since Urban Meyer left town for Ohio State. Jim McElwain like Moore turned around the Colorado State program, and did find some success in "The Swamp" when he first arrived, but a 5-7 finish 2 years ago followed by a 7-6 finish this past season including a embarrassing loss to Air Force in the Cotton Bowl puts McElwain on the hotseat and Moore has become the their #1 target.

USC like Florida is use to playing for National title but after winning the Pac-12 title 3 years ago well going 12-2, Coach Clayton Helton is just 10-14 his past 2 seasons (5-7 each). Watching UCLA and Stanford playing for National Titles and in BCS Bowl games doesn't help their ego much either.

            &

Like USC, Arizona State and Cal are tired of finishing middle of the pack or even worse bottom of the Pac-12.

For ASU, Todd Graham went 10-4 5 years ago and actually played in a Pac-12 title game. after getting a 7 year extension, he guided the Sun Devils to a (11-3) record including a win in the Alamo Bowl. He followed it up with a 9-5 season including a bowl loss, but has since gone (5-7) and a dismal (3-9) the past 2 years.

For Cal, Mark Hudspeth has had roller coaster success. Hired after the Bears went just 1-11, Hudspeth guided Cal to a 6-6 finish, but then the next year Cal went 8-5 including a win in the Sun Bowl. He then followed it up with a 3-9 season, then a 7-6 season and another Sun Bowl win. But now after a 4-8 finish, Bear fans and alumni are wanting something more..

For 14 years Mark Dantonio has guided the Spartans, including 7 straight winning seasons and bowl victories, but after a 4-8 finish this season, he has decided it's time to hang up his whistle. Despite their success, DaAntonio is just 25-42 against Top-25 opponents in his career and 32-24 against rivals, and MSU hasn't won a Big Ten title since 2010.

The Tigers have seen first hand what K. Moore is made of and what he brings to the field. With back to back 4-8 seasons, the Tigers are ready to move on from Barry Odom and hoping Moore is willing to stay in the Big 12 but jump ship for more money..

Moore can't be leaving them yet, he hasn't done enough! This Colorado St. team is going to light up the conference, and I want to see how Moore would handle the QB position if Clayton returns to win a natty. There is so much more for him to learn as a coach with the Rams. Moving has to be at least two season's out still!

I check in from time to time. Tbh I don't get to read or catch up as much as I like, majority of my spare time goes into trying to organize my own Dynasty, format it correctly, and fix any errors while simultaneously updating the things I postponed

There's a lot of content I missed so I don't have a whole of knowledge up to this point but as far as coaching decisions go...

I've had a bunch of fun with Arizona State. My Dynasty started in year 2018 and I became ASU's coach in 2019. They have a badass stadium and team facilities IRL so there's a lot of cool images and content online. They have a good amount of uniform options so you can mix and match and not get too bored.

For the sake of not choosing the same route I chose, I'd prolly say California or Florida. Florida you're in the gauntlet right away in the SEC and that could be fun playing from the bottom feeders in the lions den. PAC-12 is interesting. Lots of razzle dazzle. I just don't feel it's nearly as competitive as the SEC would be (at least not in my Dynasty... BAMA, LSU, even Tennessee and Florida have been pretty dominant) and I get a kick out of competition.

I think Arizona State, California, and Florida offer the most as far as uniform options, quality team facility, team history, and Dynasty 'flavor' go.

USC and even Michigan State are rich in tradition but their uniform options are very simple.

Missouri Tigers I'm assuming? That could be interesting if you're into their theme and the uniforms. Not sure what version of NCAA you're playing (I'm sure if I open new tab on OP before typing this I could tell you lol...) so Idk what is available for them.

I appreciate you taking the time to comment and provide feedback. I have a couple different save files depending on what I decide to do and like you its hard to keep up with all the good threads on here and still find time to post and play games for my own, but lucky for me I use work days to read others and days off typically to post my own. So that's why I will typically have several posts in the same day.

What's even hard is I also have a college hoops thread running, but it took a back burner for awhile, but with March Madness back in full effect, it makes me get the itch again. Lucky for me I don't own Madden or I am sure I would be temped around draft time to start that up too

Haha yeah, I thought about getting the old NCAA '11 or whatever the last one was for basketball. Not sure if I "loved" the game though, I know I enjoyed it... and I plan on doing one of these for Madden when it comes out but I will probably fast forward a few years in the future... prob w/ Madden is that the game has a new release every year... if NCAA did that, I don't think I'd be playing NCAA '14 still and idk if I would wanna start over all the time.

For college basketball, CH2K8 was the best game ever made. I think because it was and nothing came out after, that is why you see threads on the basketball forum that have been going for 10 years and 250,000+ views and comments.

Same for NCAA14, because there is no new game coming out you typically can find some good threads to follow for along time, but it seems like Madden and NBA threads will typically only last a year if that before the poster ends it and moves on to next years game.

                            PRESEASON SHOWCASE

Welcome to the College Football Game Day Preseason Show, built by the Home Depot. We got some exciting news around the nation, from East Coast to West Coast.

Before we get to this season Top-25 Preseason Poll or who we think are your Top-5 Heisman hopefuls. The story we feel that has somewhat rocked the scene in college football is coming out of the Sunshine State, and more specifically Gator Nation.

Reports are that the Florida Gators have agreed to a 5 yr contract with former Boise State QB and Offensive Coordinator and more recently Colorado State Head Coach Kellen Moore as their new Head Coach.

Moore was #1 on many schools wish list after leading the Rams to the Big 12 Championship last season and a Fiesta Bowl win over Texas.

In 2 seasons at the helm of CSU, Moore owns a 23-4 record and has produced the #1 passing attack in the nation the past 2 years and has had CSU in the Top-5 in scoring and Offensive yards.

But many wonder.. Is Moore leaving CSU to early?? And is he ready for SEC football?

Expectations are high in Gator Nation, as fans and alumni are ready for the streak of 4 straight years without a bowl win and only 1 win in the past 8. Will Moore be able to live up to the pressure?

                            K Moore
"To be honest with you it was a tough decision to leave CSU especially after the year we had and knowing the type of team I would be returning with. But after talking it over with my family, we felt like this wasn't a opportunity we could pass up. There are basically 3 or 4 schools that are on my dream list of places to go and Florida was one of them, and the ability to rebuild this program back to elite status is a challenge I am ready to take on"

Kellen won't have to tackle the SEC and rebuilding alone though. Despite now winning alot of games on the field, former HC Jim McElwain did manage to put together a pretty talented roster including 1 Pre-Season Top-5 Heisman Hopeful.

JR RB Kareem Anderson (5'11 204lbs), didn't see much action as a true freshman carrying the ball just 25 times for 79 yds (3.2 avg) well scoring 1 TD. However as a Soph, he took over after a injury happened and produced 218 carries for 1272 yds with 14 TD's on the ground well also catching 32 balls for 290 yds and 4 more scores through the air.

Having a Running back like Anderson is huge for our offense says K-Moore. Everyone saw how successful we were the past 2 season with C. DeAngelis and Anderson is just a talented.

The craziest part however is he isn't even consider to be the most talented RB on the roster (89 OVR). Fellow JR Dustin Lloyd (90 OVR) was the starter 2 years ago as a true freshman carrying the ball 177 times for 764 yds and 10 scores, but a leg injury last season limited him to just 4 carries.

However the talent doesn't end there either. SR Jerome Stewart (91 OVR) would most likely have been a 1000 yd rusher on many teams, however depth chart issues have seen Stewart get just 30 career carries for 126 yds with 1 TD.

The Running back stable isn't the only position stocked with talent on the offensive side of the ball. We all know Moore likes to pass the ball and make WR's into legends. Well this year he will have 5 Seniors leading his depth chart including 6'1 Dylan Washington (Impact Player/95 OVR) who last season had 57 catches for 753 yds and 3 TD.

However the biggest story when it comes to talking about K-Moore is who will be his QB and will be become a star?

With the graduation of the schools 3 year starter, the Gators will have a new name and new face running the show.

                            6'3 Lawrence West (85 OVR,77 SPD/66 AWR,92 THP/87 THA) will be the first to get a shot.

Lawrence completed 24/55 pass's for 275 yds and 1 INT as a true freshman last year.

Battling him for the starting job will be 4* Recruit Tim Campbell (80 OVR, 76 SPD,53 AWR,96 THP,82 TPA).

                            K-Moore "
Based off the tape we have seen, West has the inside track. If he was a Senior it might be different, but we we so reason why we can't mold him into the player we need to run our offense and have him for 3 years to do it."

Moore and Gator Nation won't have to wait long to see if this marriage is indeed a good one as they host #1 Clemson in the Game of the Week.

Picked to finish 5th in the 12 man conference is not something K-Moore is use to so a win over Clemson who will enter the game having won 23 straight games including a perfect 13-0 record coming off their national title is a tough pill to swallow.

Things don't get much easier along the way. After hosting Clemson, Florida then travels to @ FAU in Week 4, before taking on former HC Jim McElwain and the UCF Knights.

                            Then its @ USF, @ #14 Boise State, #16 Tennessee, @ #3 LSU, Miami, Georgia, Vandy and @FIU and @ #7 FSU.

                            K-Moore
"Obviously Clemson is a huge first test, but our schedule doesn't get any easier. @#14 BSU (a home stadium where they havn't lost a game in 3 years) @#3 LSU and @ #7 FSU are all tough matchup's"

With Kellen leaving Fort Collins, the biggest question was who was taking over the Ram's?

Rumor was at first that the Ram's were looking at bring back McElwain, but he went with UCF instead and that's when they turned to Moore and asked his opinion. The Answer was very close to his heart, as CSU officials name Offensive Coordinator Kirby Moore as their new man.

Kirby like his brother played his college football at Boise State. After graduation. Kirby joined the staff at College of Idaho a small NAIA Div II school before moving on to positions with Eastern Washington University, UW working under former BSU coach Chris Peterson, and then with Fresno State.

However for the past 2 years he has been under the radar as the Ram's OC as brother Kellen got most of the credit for the playcalling.

                            Kellen Moore
"To be honest I got alot of credit for our passing attack because of my background as a QB and the success I had well at Boise State as a player and coach, but Kirby has also been there every step of the way and was a huge reason why B. Baker posted the 2 type of seasons he did. I am excited to see him get the opportunity to continue what we started together at CSU"
The biggest question for Kirby is who is his starting QB and will he still use the same offensive playbook his brother created?

Kirby Moore "The Reality is we have 3 very talented QB's on our roster and I am sure at 1 point this season all 3 will receive PT. However going into the season, SR Anthony Clayton is our starter. Clayton has the skills to be one of the nations's best (99 OVR,88 SPD,99 AWR 89 THP, 88 THA)

                            SO Jakari Magnum
(83 OVR,71 SPD,76 AWR,88 THP 82 THA) was a huge reason for our success last season (3699 yds 28 TD 20 INT), but we also have a very talented #3 QB in RS FR Brian Carter (82 OVR,88 SPD,67 AWR,84 THP, 84 THA

Well Kirby doesn't have to worry about QB, he does have to wonder if SO Cedric Hayes (83 OVR) is ready to carry the load at RB. Last season as a true freshman, Hayes carried the ball 67 times for 278 yds and 3 scores. He will be replacing 1000 yd rusher C. DeAngelis.

However RB isn't the only ? The Rams also lost 2 of their Top WR's including B. Baker who broke every school record on his way out.

Taking over for Baker in the #1 spot is SR Derek Flanagan (90 OVR) who last season as the teams #3 caught 53 balls for 808 yds and 4 TD.

Taking over as the #2 and Redzone threat is 6'6 SR Ben Davis (84 OVR). Davis saw limited action so far in his career the past 2 years with Moore at the helm serving as the teams #5 (20 catches 357 yds 2 TD)

With Flanagan and Davis starting, SO W. Matthews (81 OVR) will be looked upon to provide some big time plays out of the #3. As the #4 last year, Mattews caught 27 balls for 502 yds and 6 TD.

RB and WR are not the only playermakers in this offense though, as TE T. Martin is graduation, RS JR S. Romero (79 OVR) and RS SO A. Francis (79 OVR) will nee to step up and fill some huge shoes that were lost when Martin walked away.

Offense playmakers wasn't the only spots hit hard with graduation at CSU. The Offensive line has 4 new starters, well the Defense Line has 3. The Rams Secondary also took a huge hit as well as the return game with the graduation of T. Lyles.

Taking over return skills and as the #3 CB, will be 4* Recruit Mike Rodgers (80 OVR, 98 SPD, 94 ACC)

                            Kirby Moore
"We are excited to see what Mike can bring to the table in our return game. He has look explosive in practice and well we are missing some other big pieces on Defense we also return some very good players as well including captain Jeremy Lawrence"
For those of you unfamiliar with Lawrence (85 OVR). He was voted the Linebacker of the Year last season as a Junior after recording 82 tackles including 12 TFL and 4 sacks. He aslo had 2 INT's 6 Pass Deflections and 3 Forced Fumbles, including 1 returned for a TD.

Joining Lawerence as a OLB and likely taking over pass rushing duties is fellow SR Brandon Williams (89 OVR) Williams has been a 3 year backup but he did manage to record 4.5 sacks last year.

Well Kellen's expectations are to rebuild, Kirby's are the opposite, his goal is to just continue to build on.

Colorado State coming off a Big 12 Championship, is indeed picked to repeat as they also start the year in the Top-25 at #10.

Like the previous 2 seasons, CSU will open up the year with instate rival Colorado in Week 1, before hosting Arizona State at home in Week 2 and Washington State in Week 3.

CSU then travels to KSU in Week 4, before hosting #17 Oklahoma in Week 5. After a Week 6 bye, CSU will face Iowa on the road in Week 7, and @ Wyoming in Week 8.

The rest of CSU's schedule looks like
                            Week 9 (Bye)
                            Week 10 (vs Iowa State)
                            Week 11 (vs Western Kentucky)
                            Week 12 (vs Air Force)
                            Week 13 (@ Oklahoma State)
                            Week 14 (vs Tulsa)

                            Kirby Moore
(I really feel like with 4 of our last 5 games at home we really have a great chance at another double digit win season, bowl game bid, potential Big 12 Championship and that success I believe will help us a ton with recruiting)

(I will have a full preview of each roster in a future post.

YES! I'm so pumped to be seeing this!

I do have to wonder, will we be getting double the updates this season as if we are following two coaches, or will we still be focusing on Kellen only?

I'm hoping for the former, but that could also be a lot of pressure on you, so the latter is what I'm expecting. Either way, I feel like this is a smart move for Kellen, and should provide good games on a weekly basis!

Updates on both teams. I have ran double teams in the past and it's not really that much more work, especially being how I tend to keep my game recaps pretty basic.

I am also sure that at some point we will have to see a Kellen vs Kirby matchup but I am going to wait at least 4 years before doing that so that the teams are built around each coaches recruits.
