Let's Go Craws! An Impossible Rhode Island Tech Dynasty

Craws Fight Hard, Fall Apart In Fourth

      November 15

      Rhode Island Tech -- 7
      Texas A&M -- 51

Yeah, this looks bad. But, it was only 20-7 going into the fourth quarter. Then our defense broke down and allowed them to mercy us. But there’s two sides to the sport, and our offense only scored once, and it was on the FIRST possession of the GAME! Olivieren played like dog crap, the running game was never a viable option for us because of our poor offensive line, and there are so many drops from the pass catching corps. Not just receivers, but also tight ends and running backs. Luckily next week we have Idaho who is almost as bad as us overall wise, so that should quite honestly be our second dub of the season. We shall see, though.

      Team Stats:
      Rhode Island Tech:

It’s the small victories! Progress shows that soon you won’t have to implement the mercy rule ever again. I think this is getting turned around!

Appreciate it man. Also appreciate you sticking around as we soon close year two. We are definitely improving slowly, and pretty soon we will be the ones going up 25...well maybe I shouldn't get that far ahead but still, I can dream.

What The Heck? It’s A Win For Rhode Island Tech!

            November 22

            Idaho -- 17
            Rhode Island Tech -- 49

Well I guess we aren’t the worst team in the country anymore! What a game! Kingsly comes back from being injured and plays pretty well. Some throws were a bit off the mark, but it was still really good. It was nice having confidence in another QB, though, because I put Olivieren in for a few drives wanting to give Kingsly some rest. Then I just had Olivieren play the whole fourth quarter. Antsin Mapantz has quickly become my number two running back because of his incredible speed, and he really played good, as did Axel. Defensively, the two touchdowns were in the fourth quarter, which was a full quarter of mass subs. So let’s just say the defense finally looked good. Although, there were quite a few times either the quarterback made a bad throw to an open receiver, or an open receiver dropped a ball. Coverage is kind of bad, and the rush defense didn’t play super great in the second half. Still it was really good. Also I just have to say that Wannamaker’s pick was a user and I was very proud of it.

            Team Stats:
            Idaho:

            Rushes - Yards - TDs: 25 - 129 - 1

            Red Zone - TD - FG: 2 - 1 - 1
            INT - Fumbles Lost: 2 - 0

At the time I can’t officially tell you but I’m about 99% sure I’m using Jkits sliders. Those are always pretty good. Also I’m playing 9 minute quarters with 20 player speed threshold.

Let's Go Craws! An Impossible Rhode Island Tech Dynasty

Craws Win On Senior Night, Finish 3-9

                    November 29

                    New Mexico State -- 27
                    Rhode Island Tech -- 44

We are on a two game winning streak! I did not think that would happen this early in the dynasty! What an up and down year, though. Winning week one against Ball State, reverting back to last year’s terrible losses, Kingsly being injured, Olivieren stepping up, and Kingsly coming back for the last two games and winning both. Kingsly is probably the worst thrower of our current quarterbacks, but he fits our read option play style. When I throw in a pass every once in a while he can usually hit the guy. Axel had probably the greatest senior night we will see for a while here at RIT. Antsin Mapantz had an amazing end of the season and I think he will be the man at RB next year. Defensively we played very good. We had eight sacks! Coverage was great, and I noticed zone seemed to work very well. It may have just been how bad New Mexico State is, but I am going to remember that for next season. Great year from our guys, and hopefully next season sees even more improvement.

No kidding. I can already see how much I've improved at this game because of how terrible this team is!

I've been telling myself that we have to go up a prestige within these next two years before Kingsly leaves. This is definitely great momentum to improve off of next year.

My thoughts: Welp, this class was pretty stacked. Going down the list and seeing names like Yoinkers, Axel, Dresmand, Fredrick, Xavionathon, and R’KALA YOBIE! NOOOOOOO! He was by far my favorite player on this team and easily my most favorite name I’ve made yet. It’ll be hard to replace a lot of these guys, but the current roster is only getting better. So long, I salute you all.

                            1. My head coach only has to take another head coaching job if they are a prestige higher than us.
                            2. I can go after three JUCOs not interested in us originally throughout the year.

                              RIT All-Conference

                              August 29

                              All-NCAA:
                              1st Team:
                              Hinsickle Albatraz (DT)
2nd Team: Drolexander Kreaman (LOLB), Kwando Juge (Returner)

                              All-Independents:
                              1st Team:
Stryphing Adamsmanson (WR), Borous Chincky (RE), Hinsickle Albatraz (DT), Drolexander Kreaman (LOLB), Waivickley Predeen (CB), Underfly Goro (CB), Kwando Juge (Returner)
                              2nd Team: Eanson Kork (TE)

My Thoughts: Hinny and Droly are going to be monsters next year, so I’m not too surprised they got that much representation. I did pretty good with Kwando last year, so it makes sense, I guess. I’m surprised most by Eanson Kork, though, because I didn’t think he did that good last year with the three headed receiving monster of Stryphing, St. John, and Xavionathon. He now has a lot to prove this year in my mind.

For Second Year In A Row Craws Win Opener

                                September 5

                                ULM -- 21
                                Rhode Island Tech -- 30

Once again your Rhode Island Tech Crawfish come out on top for the opener. ULM is not very good, that’s for sure, but they aren’t Idaho or NMSU bad. Ball State ended the year ranked last season, so that win was obviously big, but this ULM team won’t be too terrible. The running game started out a little stale, but Kingsly was able to make some great throws to keep our offense in motion. The running game did end up pretty well. Antsin Mapantz is a running back where if he gets the blocks he has the capability to do some real damage, but a lot of times he doesn’t get those blocks. The defense was near perfect. Just a few bad luck plays and some drives that started already near the red zone. All in all it was a great game.
