STEELERS ride hot Defensive Performance to 27-16 Victory over CHIEFS...
RECAP
Pittsburgh, PA- The Pittsburgh Steelers(7-8) got off to a 5-4 start before a 4 game skid doomed their Season.
Now for the 3rd year in a row, the Steelers are eliminated from the Playoffs.
"That 4 Game slide kind of doomed our Season. It sucks feeling like this and we all need to be better for next year." Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin stated.
Drama has been an issue all year long between Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and the rest of the Team. "Big Ben" has constantly aired Team Dirty Laundry on his Radio Show and thrown Teammates under the bus.
The Steelers(7-8) rode a great Defensive Performance forcing 5 Kansas City turnovers. 3 of them were Interceptions by Alex Smith.
"Played just awful today. Very bad Football." Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid stated.
The Kansas City Chiefs(11-4) struggled from the get go being held to just 6 points in the First Half.
Pittsburgh cashed in on the mistakes for a 24-6 Halftime lead.
Roethlisberger had 230 yards, 1 Touchdown, 1 Interception. Big Ben placed blame on Chad Hall. A pattern to familiar for the 2014 Steelers.
"Chad (Hall) ran the wrong route. We all need to get on the same page." Roethlisberger stated.
The Steelers(7-8) are out of the Playoffs for the 3rd year in a row.

PATRIOTS win AFC East for the 6th Year in a row with 21-17 Victory over JETS...
RECAP
East Rutherford, NJ- The Dynasty continues for the New England Patriots(12-3) who have won the AFC East Division Title for the 6th year in a row. With the win and a Chiefs loss earlier in Pittsburgh, The Pats should clinch Home Field Advantage to ensure the road to Super Bowl 49 runs through Foxboro.
"It's always something we want. For the Playoffs to come through us." Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick stated.
In Week 7 on Thursday Night Football, the New York Jets(9-5-1) upset the Patriots in Foxboro 17-10 in which Brady was picked off twice.
But today, New England(12-3) returned the favor.
Without Brady, once again turning to Ryan Mallett who has stepped in since Brady hurt his shoulder in a Week 13 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
The Pats rattled off 3 straight wins with Mallett under center with victories over San Diego, Miami, and New York.
Mallett was surgical today. Throwing for 300 yards and 3 Touchdowns as the Patriots(12-3) knocked off the Jets(9-5-1) to win the East Division.
This means the Jets are going on the road come January.
"We're in the Playoffs and that's huge for us. We're on the road though so the challenge will be hard, but we're up for the task." Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan stated.
Many had Ryan on the hot seat this year after dismal performances over the past couple years. But that changed with the emergence of Rookie Quarterback John David Booty who has stepped in and brought new life to "Gang Green".
Booty had 229 yards, 1 Touchdown, and 1 Interception. A bomb in the end zone picked off by Devin McCourty.
No Running Back had over 85 yards as the Patriots Defense shut down Chris Johnson and held him to just 35 yards off 18 carries.
Mallett connected with "Gronk" as Gronkowski caught 9 catches for 157 yards and 2 Touchdowns. Julian Edelman caught the Game Winner in the final 83 seconds.
Patricia's Defense shut down the Jets to seal the deal. Tom Brady is set to return next week as the Patriots(12-3) host the Bills in the Finale. Brady may play to guarantee New England clinches Home Field if they haven't already.
Cleveland, Kansas City, or Tennessee can still claim Homefield.

Pectoral Tear(IR)Game Notes New York were off to a 4-1 start and collapsed to a 7-7 Record entering Week 16. A 2-5 Record on the Road is a huge factor as the G-Men are left on the outside looking in. However their one saving grace is that the Dallas Cowboys haven't wrapped up the East Title yet. If the Giants want any kind of chance in making the Playoffs they must win the Division and hope Dallas loses out. But first, the Rams are looking to play spoiler already eliminated from the Playoffs. Comment

RAMS eliminate GIANTS from Playoffs with 55-14 blowout...G-Men lose Manning and Cruz...
RECAP
St. Louis, MO- The St. Louis Rams(8-7) are missing the Playoffs for the 10th year in a row.
But that didn't stop Jeff Fisher's Squad from going out and laying a whooping on Eli Manning and Company.
The Rams did that.
"We needed a great game like this from us to boost our confidence heading into the Season Finale. I think we've come along way from the start. It's a matter of everyone believing in each other and moving forward." Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher stated.
St. Louis(8-7) made a statement today against the struggling New York Giants(7-8)
With the loss, Dallas has officially claimed the NFC East Title.
"We're done now. We have only ourselves to blame for crashing hard like we did." Giants Head Coach Tom Coughlin stated.
New York(7-8) started with a 4-1 Record before crashing hard to 7-8.
The Rams dominated the Giants from the get go racing out to a 27-0 Halftime lead. Eli Manning and the Giants were held to constant 3 and outs as Gregg Williams Defense made life miserable for the G-Men.
The Giants punted 9 times.
"Those punts killed us." Coughlin added.
Rams Quarterback Sam Bradford had a field day against the horrible Giants Defense throwing for 433 yards and 5 Touchdowns.
"Sam was just in the zone today. We all were in awe watching him." Fisher stated.
Giants Quarterback Eli Manning and WR Victor Cruz were both knocked out late in the 3rd with the Rams up 41-0.
Manning and Cruz will both miss the Week 17 Finale vs Philly. New York turned to Ryan Nassib at Quarterback. Nassib had 186 yards 2 Touchdowns, and a pick all in garbage time.
The Rams(8-7) raced out to a 41-0 lead. Bradford was dropping bombs all over the horrible Giants Defense.
Rams RB Zac Stacy had a field day of his own as he rushed for 237 yards and 2 Touchdowns off just 17 carries breaking free at will for large gains.
Tavon Austin had 2 Touchdowns, Kenny Britt had 3. Both Receivers had almost 200 yards each.
The Rams Defense also got to Eli Manning 8 times, and Ryan Nassib twice.
Sam Bradford and the Offense racked up 652 yards while the Giants were held to under 300.

Shoulder Tear(2 Weeks)Game Notes The Oakland Raiders are looking to make history, becoming the 2nd Team ever to finish (0-16) behind the 2008 Detroit Lions. Oakland has been a mess all year long and Rumors are swirling around the Bay Area that Mark Davis will be cleaning house and showing Dennis Allen and his staff the door by next week. The rebuilding Bills have been playing QB Carousel all year in an attempt to find their Franchise Quarterback and Head Coach Doug Marrone is safe despite Buffalo being eliminated from the Playoffs. RECAP
Oakland, CA- Dating back to their 6 game slide to end the 2013 Season, the Oakland Raiders(0-15) have now lost their 21st straight Game under Head Coach Dennis Allen.
"It's a terrible spot for us to be in. We been in a funk all year long and have no idea how to get out of it." Raiders Head Coach Dennis Allen stated.

Oakland(0-15) had just 97 yards of Offense and 201 Total. Buffalo(7-8) racked up 479 Total yards with 478 of them on Offense.
"Huge day for us, we battled behind Josh (Allen) and got the W." Bills Offensive Coordinator Nathaniel Hackett stated.

SEAHAWKS sweep CARDINALS and take over NFC West lead with 23-20 victory in Glendale....
RECAP
Glendale, AZ- The Arizona Cardinals(11-4) are attempting to make history and become the first Team in NFL History to host their own Super Bowl.
That Dream looks more and more like a broken one.
On Sunday Night Football the Cards fell once again to the Seattle Seahawks(11-4) this time on their own turf and suffered their first loss at Home this year.
With the loss, the Cardinals(11-4) have been swept by the Hawks(11-4).
This also means that Seattle sits firmly in the West Lead with one Game left while Arizona drops down to a Wildcard Spot.
"It's a gut punch feeling for us absolutely. We work hard all year and fall tonight. Seattle is a great Football Team and defending Champions for a reason. We need to refocus for the Finale vs San Francisco next week and try to claim back what we lost here tonight. Home Field." Cardinals Head Coach Bruce Arians stated.
Arizona(11-4) fell into a 17-3 hole as Seattle(11-4) got off to a fast start.
"We knew we had to start fast. Arizona at home is a really tough Team to beat and score points on." Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll stated.
Seattle Quarterback Russell Wilson had 226 yards and 2 Touchdowns. The Super Bowl QB also took a sack by Cardinals LB John Abraham and fumbled the ball deep in their own territory.
This is what started a comeback by Arizona.
Cardinals Quarterback Carson Palmer found some rhythm throwing 302 yards, 2 Touchdowns, and a Pick.
Arizona began a comeback and tied the Game at 20-20 in the 4th Quarter as the Seahawks were stunned blowing a 14 point lead.
But the "Never Say Die" Seahawks thrive in these situations and proved it again tonight as Wilson led a epic Game Winning Drive followed by a Steven Haushka Field Goal that put the defending Champions in the lead for good.
With under 30 seconds in the game, Carson Palmers pass was intercepted by Richard Sherman to put the nail in the coffin for good.
"We never quit. That's the mentality of this Football Team, has been all year." Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll stated.
BEAST MODE had 128 yards, Wilson had another 41 yards.
Seattle held Arizona RB Jonathan Dwyer to 44 yards off 13 carries.
Each Team sacked the Quarterback 5 times.
Seattle had 517 Total Yards to Arizona 322.
Seattle(11-4) now has control of the NFC West Division while Arizona(11-4) moves down into a Wildcard spot.
