It hasn't been a good Rookie Year for Quarterback Blake Bortles as the Jacksonville Jaguars will try to snap their 4 game losing streak. The Texans have been in a Rebuild year as well under new Head Coach Bill O' Brien. Jags Coach Gus Bradley is expected to be given a pass as Bortles looks to become the Franchise Quarterback.

TEXANS handle JAGUARS with ease 27-10....

        RECAP

Houston, TX- It was a year of rebuilding and a new system for the Houston Texans(7-9) who finished their 2014 Campaign with a 27-10 victory over the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars(3-13)

Texans Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick lit up the horrible rebuilding Jags Defense for 308 yards and 3 Touchdowns. Arian Foster ran for 133 yards.

Houston(7-9) wrapped up the year on a high note.

"No Playoffs for us this year but I thought we ended on a high note for sure." Texans Head Coach Bill O'Brien stated.

Jacksonville(3-13) couldn't get much going as Rookie Quarterback Blake Bortles had 204 yards 1 Touchdown and a Interception.

Jacksonville took Bortles in the First Round to be their potential Franchise Quarterback of the Future.

"This year was about building a foundation with Blake. He had some ups and downs but finished strong I thought. We're all excited about the future with him. We look forward to the Off-Season Program." Jaguars Head Coach Gus Bradley stated.

Toby Gerhart had 111 yards and no Touchdowns as the Jags failed to get anything going on Offense. They still finished with 323 yards of Offense as Houston had 448.

Novak's 21 yard Game Winner Boots CHARGERS past CHIEFS 13-10! Kansas City misses out on BYE...

              RECAP

Kansas City, MO- The Kansas City Chiefs(11-5) had their chance at a First Round BYE in the AFC Playoffs.

But they let it slip away.

"It was a blow to our confidence. We had our chance and we let it slip. We have ourselves to blame. We have to move past this quick and get ready for the Wildcard." Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid stated.

The San Diego Chargers(10-6) came into Arrowhead Stadium and shut the Chiefs(11-5) down.

The biggest surprise was the Chargers Defense shutting down Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles and holding him to just 64 yards off 22 Carries.

"We knew how great he is and the things he's been doing all year has just been phenomenal. We knew we had to focus on him really well to give us a chance." Chargers Defensive Coordinator John Pagano stated.

Chargers RB Danny Woodhead filling in for Ryan Matthews had 93 yards and no Touchdowns.

It was a black and blue battle between the AFC West Rivals.

With Franchise Quarterback Phillip Rivers resting for the Playoffs, Backup Quarterback Kellen Clemens started and had 243 yards 1 Touchdown, and 1 Interception.

Alex Smith had 190 yards and a Touchdown. He was also sacked 5 times by the Chargers Defense.

"Too much pressure tonight. We need to do a better job protecting Alex (Smith)" Reid stated.

It was 10-10 entering the 4th Quarter. Kansas City battled as San Diego attempted a leading Score chewing up over 6 minutes of time left.

Nick Novak's 39 yarder went wide right. Kansas City got the ball back on their own 20 yard line with a minute left. Smith's first pass was caught and fumbled by TE Anthony Fasano.

Chargers Rookie CB Corey Blake scooped it up to give San Diego(10-6) back the ball.

"That was huge for us." Chargers Head Coach Mike McCoy said.

Nick Novak made up for his miss moments earlier by kicking a Game Winner to send the Chiefs(11-5) into Wildcard Weekend and missing out on a BYE.

In what will be Head Coach Joe Philbin's last Game as Head Coach of the Miami Dolphins, the Fins will try to end their 2014 Season with a Win. Miami will be welcoming Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy for the 2015 campaign. Philbin will more than likely take the Packers Head Gig. The Jets beat the Dolphins Week 13 on Monday Night Football 34-15. New York is heading to the Playoffs as the #5 Seed right now so a Win or a loss won't really matter. Miami is playing for pride.

JETS crash and burn in South Beach, fall to DOLPHINS 24-17....

                      RECAP

Miami, FL- It wasn't exactly the way that the New York Jets(9-6-1) wanted to end their Season.

A loss in South Beach to the Miami Dolphins(7-9).

"Not exactly how we wanted to end it. We gotta get our confidence back and get ready for Next Weekend." Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan stated.

The Jets(9-6-1) despite the loss are still heading for the Playoffs for a trip to Wildcard Weekend.

But if today's performance showed anything, New York has some work to do.

"Bad performance by us. Fell flat on our face for sure." Ryan continued.

Miami(7-9) was ready for their Division Rival. Head Coach Joe Philbin made sure his last Game as Dolphins Head Coach was memorable.

"Obviously I'm not here for next year with all that's been going on this Season in the News." Dolphins Head Coach Joe Philbin stated.

It's known that Dolphins Owner Stephen Ross will be firing Joe Philbin to hire Mike McCarthy who is expected to be fired by the Packers.

Dolphins shut down Jets Running Back Chris Johnson by holding him to 25 yards.

"Stopped the Run and did a fantastic job against the pass." Philbin said.

The Jets(9-6-1) struggled. Quarterback John David Booty had 205 yards, 1 Touchdown, and was intercepted twice. Booty rushed for a Score himself but the Jets lost.

Miami(7-9) ran all over the Jets. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill had just 173 yards with no Touchdowns.

The Dolphins had Knowshon Moreno and Daniel Thomas racking up a Total of 207 yards and 3 Touchdowns on the ground.

"Unacceptable. Allowing that much is not going to get us anywhere in the Playoffs. We need to be much better heading into the Wildcard Game." Jets Defensive Coordinator Dennis Thurman stated.

LOL yeah looking at the Standings, Tampa and Chicago are 12 and 13 win Teams. If Chicago wins, they could clinch a First Round BYE. However Seattle, Arizona, San Francisco, etc have 11 wins. If Tampa wins they clinch Home Field with a 14-2 Record.

Minneapolis, MN- The Minnesota Vikings(5-11) continue to show glimmers of hope in Minnesota under Head Coach Mike Zimmer.

The Vikings were in a new System and as the year went on it began to show flashes of a very aggressive Defense under mastermind Mike Zimmer.

Bears Quarterback Jay Cutler struggled in the cold Minnesota temperatures as the Vike's Secondary swatted the ball on a consistent basis.

Cutler finished with 222 yards, 2 Touchdowns, and a Intercepted picked off by Vikings Safety Harrison Smith.

"Our Defense has been a work in progress all year long. "Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer stated.

Chicago(12-4) will miss out on the NFC #1 Seed which has now been won by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers(13-2).

"We kinda took our foot off the gas over these last 2 Division Games and that's on us. We need to make up for it in the Playoffs." Bears Head Coach Marc Trestman said.

The Bears(12-4) were in a position to clinch the NFC #1 Seed but stumbled down the stretch losing to Detroit last week and Minnesota today.

Arizona who was also believed to clinch has fallen to (11-4) but can still compete for the #2 Seed.

Vikings Quarterback Matt Cassel showed exactly why he is a potential Franchise Quarterback.

Throwing for 378 yards and 4 Touchdowns with no Interceptions.

"Matt is our Quarterback moving forward." Vikings Offensive Coordinator Norv Turner stated.

Minnesota(5-11) is believed to be doing a massive overhaul in the Off-Season on Defense.

Minnesota Safety Harrison Smith led the Team with 3 Interceptions.

Bears LB DJ Williams broke his Collarbone in the loss today and will miss the rest of the Bears Playoff Run.

                                Game Notes
"The Dynasty" are eyeing the AFC #1 Seed to ensure the Road to Super Bowl 49 goes through Boston. The Bills were already humbled by Brady and Company back in Week 6 with a 42-13 thrashing in Buffalo. If the Pats win they will clinch #1 Seed. A loss and New England falls into a 3 Way tie with the Browns and Titans to determine Home Field. Brady is back after missing 3 Games with a torn shoulder so 12 should get the Pats into the Playoffs with the 1 Seed.
