    Game Notes
Denver has been a mess this year with Peyton Manning throwing 39 Interceptions and the Broncos are just trying to get to the Finish line to turn the page on the disaster. John Elway and John Fox both have confirmed that they back Manning 100% and if Peyton doesn't retire this Off-Season, then the 2015 campaign could be a redemption for Denver. But that's later. Tonight, Denver will try to knock Cincinnati out of the Playoffs who are in a tight race with San Diego for the last Wildcard spot.

BRONCOS hold off BENGALS rally to win 37-33 in a shootout on Monday Night....

        RECAP

Cincinnati, OH- It's only fitting that the last Monday Night Game of the 2014 Season would be a epic shootout between the Bengals(7-8) and Denver Broncos(3-11-1).

        And it didn't disappoint.

"Shootout for sure. Went down to the wire and our Defense came up big for us." Broncos Head Coach John Fox stated.

Holding on to a 37-33 lead with 30 Seconds left, Bengals Quarterback Andy Dalton's last pass was batted down in the endzone.

"That was rough for us to watch but Denver came out strong. We're done now so we just have the Finale left." Bengals Head Coach Marvin Lewis stated.

Cincinnati(7-8) was eliminated from the Playoffs with the loss. San Diego has won the final Wild Card spot.

Denver and Cincinnati were mirror images of each other. First Downs, Yards, everything.

Broncos Quarterback Peyton Manning seemed to get of his funk he's been in all Season despite throwing his 40th Interception. He finished with 361 yards, 2 Touchdowns, and a pick.

"I've been in a funk all year. I needed to get out of it. Tonight was the first step." Manning said.

Denver's RB Montee Ball rushed for 106 yards and a Touchdown as the two Teams traded leads throughout the Game.

Bengals RB Giovanni Bernard had 94 yards and no scores.

Last week after a 20-10 loss to the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta fired Head Coach Mike Smith. Offensive Coordinator Dirk Koetter has been named the Interim H.C for the Finale against the Panthers. Carolina has a lot of work to do this Spring as they hope Cam Newton can bounce back from a disastrous 2014 Season.

PANTHERS end Season on a high note with 26-21 Victory over lowly FALCONS...

                            RECAP

Atlanta, GA- The disastrous 2014 Season for the Carolina Panthers(3-13) is finally over.

It was a mess from the start.

Carolina(3-13) struggled out of the gate falling to a 1-7 start in which Franchise Quarterback Cam Newton struggled with turnovers and consistency.

He was benched. "River Boat" Ron turned to Veteran backup Derek Anderson.

But the losses kept coming. Even with Anderson under center.

"It was a tough one for us this year. Struggled to control the ball, couldn't keep points off the board. It was just a mess. We all need to look at ourselves this Spring and get back to work." Panthers Head Coach Ron Rivera stated.

The Falcons(4-12) were another Team that struggled out of the gate this year as former Head Coach Mike Smith's System had run stale.

It showed in the results as the year went on.

He was fired last week after Atlanta(4-12) fell to the New Orleans Saints 20-10.

"Firing a Head Coach in the Season is never easy. We felt we needed to move on and give Dirk a chance to show us what he can do." Falcons Owner Arthur Blank stated.

"From a Coaching standpoint, I felt we played much better today than we have all year." Interim Head Coach Dirk Koetter stated.

Matt Ryan had 208 yards and 3 Touchdowns. 2 of them to Julio Jones who had 127 yards as well.

The Falcons(4-12) finished with 339 yards of Offense and 509 Total.

Carolina(3-13) finished with 312 yards of Offense with 357 Total. Panthers Quarterback Derek Anderson had just 97 yards and a Touchdown before breaking his finger and leaving midway through the third Quarter.

In stepped Cam Newton. He threw 14 yards while running for 26 yards and a Touchdown. Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart had 176 yards and a Score.

Atlanta struggled to get stops. Carolina got off to a 17-7 halftime lead.

Falcons RB Steven Jackson got 131 yards but a costly fumble turned into a Panthers 26-21 lead.

The Falcons Defense racked up 6 Sacks with DE Tyson Jackson recording 3 of them.

CAROLINA PANTHERS: A Season to be forgotten...

                              12/28/14

                              Written by: Adam Schefter

The 2014 Carolina Panthers were nothing short of a Car Accident. Carolina wrapped up their 2014 Season with a 26-21 win over the equally as bad Atlanta Falcons in Atlanta. This would be the Panthers just 3rd win of the year as they stumbled to the Finish Line with a dreadful last place Finish in the NFC South with a 3-13 Record.

After a 58-31 Blowout over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Opening Sunday, Carolina fell into a downward spiral. Losing the next 11 Games. Franchise Quarterback Cam Newton was benched after a 1-7 start where he was a Turnover Machine. He finished the Year on the bench to backup QB Derek Anderson.

Newton finished the 2014 campaign with 1,418 yards, 7 Touchdowns, 15 Interceptions, and a Rating of 60.4. Terrible for the Franchise QB who was Rookie of the Year in 2011.

"It was a disappointing year for all of us. We didn't meet our expectations of getting back to the Playoffs. We have high standards around here and we failed ourselves and each other. We have a lot of work to do for our Off-Season Programs to get back to where we want to go for next year." Panthers Head Coach Ron Rivera stated.

After a 1-7 start, Newton was benched for Veteran QB Derek Anderson. The losses kept coming but Anderson finished with 1,850 yards, 5 Touchdowns, 10 Interceptions, and a Rating of 76.3.

With the Panthers now on their Off-Season Schedule, Carolina must look at themselves to correct the wrongs that derailed their Season.
