NEW YORK GIANTS: Fire General Manager Jerry Reese after 3 years of no Playoffs...

    12/29/14

    Written By: Adam Schefter

The New York Giants aren't wasting anytime going to work on "Black Monday" relieving General Manager Jerry Reese of his duties, the Team announced today.

"We've been falling short of our goals year after year and that lies on Jerry. We appreciate everything he did for the New York Giants over the past 20 years." Giants Co-Owner John Mara stated.

Reese has been with the G-Men since 1994 where he was a College Scout before landing the General Manager Gig in 2007. He put together the Giants Super Bowl Teams in 2007 and 2011 but has been taking short cuts afterwards in handing out one year deals.

New York missed the Playoffs for the next 3 years after winning Super Bowl 46 over the New England Patriots. With the recent retirement of Tom Coughin, speculation has risen in the Mara Family may consider naming Tom their next General Manager.

NEW YORK GIANTS: Fire Defensive Coordinator Perry Fewell..

      12/29/14

      Written By: Adam Schefter

"Black Monday" continues for the New York Giants who have now announced they are parting ways with Defensive Coordinator Perry Fewell after 5 Seasons.

Fewell, was the G-Men Defensive Coordinator since 2010 where the Giants won Super Bowl 46 in 2011.

The Giants blew a 27 point halftime lead in Detroit on Opening Sunday dubbed "The Miracle in Mo-Town."

After that epic collapse, the Giants raced out to a 4-1 Record in September. But then they faltered down the stretch allowing more than 28 points in every loss.

New York was still alive in the Playoff race with a 7-5 Record entering the final month of the Season.

New York would lose the last 4 Games to close out the year. A Week 16 blowout loss to the Rams in St. Louis would be the deciding factor.

"Black Monday" is officially in motion this morning as the New York Giants announced some changes of their own.

Now it's the Oakland Raiders turn to make some waves as the Team announced the firing of Head Coach Dennis Allen after Oakland became the 2nd Team in NFL History to finish 0-16.

"It was a rough year for all of us in Raider Nation. I would like to thank Dennis and his Family for all they have done for the Oakland Raiders. It was time for a change and that's the best interest for both of us." Raiders Owner Mark Davis stated.

GREEN BAY PACKERS: Fire Mike McCarthy after disastrous 9-7 Season full of Drama and problems...

              12/29/14

              Written By: Adam Schefter

Should be no surprise to see Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy on the "Black Monday" list this morning.

The Packers have made numerous news headlines throughout the 2014 Season with Mike McCarthy being called out by his own Team.

Green Bay was off to a 6-2 start and after a Week 3 28-24 Victory over the Detroit Lions, McCarthy announced he was turning over a new leaf.

              This was a lie.

McCarthy was back to his old ways the next week in Chicago where his conservativeness cost the Packers the Game.

"He never changed. No matter how many times we tried to talk to him during the Games. He never adjusted and left us out to dry." Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers stated.

Things got ugly after the BYE Week when the Chicago Bears blew out the Packers on Sunday Night Football in which the Bears swept the Pack for the first time since 2007.

After the Game, Many Head Coaches across the league blew up McCarthy on Social Media.

"Aaron Rodgers is your Quarterback and you don't try to win Games?" One NFL Head Coach wrote.

Things got worse as McCarthy continued his bad ways as the Packers faltered down the stretch to a 9-7 Record and missing out on the Playoffs for the first time since 2008.

Over the Thanksgiving Holiday, McCarthy was spotted down in South Beach talking to Miami Dolphins Owner Stephen Ross.

Ross would offer McCarthy a Contract to Coach the Miami Dolphins for next Season.

MIAMI DOLPHINS: Fire Head Coach Joe Philbin...

                12/29/14

                Written By: Adam Schultz

The Miami Dolphins are making room for Mike McCarthy by firing Joe Philbin this morning.

The Dolphins had a last place finish in the AFC East with a 7-9 Record.

But this move doesn't surprise much as Dolphins Owner Stephen Ross has announced his intentions on hiring Packers Ex Head Coach Mike McCarthy.

The Two held a meeting over Thanksgiving down in South Beach.

2014 NFL WILDCARD PLAYOFFS: Rematches headline Wildcard Weekend...

-As we take a break from "Black Monday" News, we take a look ahead to the First Round of the NFL Playoffs this Weekend.. 3 Rematches are scheduled for Wildcard Weekend...

                        #6. New York Jets(9-6-1) @ #3. Tennessee Titans(12-4)

Back in Week 15, The Tennessee Titans stomped the New York Jets 31-13 in Nashville where Quarterback Jake Locker made it rain for 4 Touchdowns and 244 yards. On Saturday, "Gang Green" will look to bounce back with a win and snap the Titans 11 Game Winning Streak with a shot at a Deep Playoff Run on the line. Will Tennessee have their streak snapped? Or will Rex Ryan's Jets crash and burn again?

                        #5. San Diego Chargers(10-6) @ #4. Kansas City Chiefs(11-5)

The moment Denver went into a downward spiral, the AFC West was up for grabs between the San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs dominated the Bolts in Week 7 inside San Diego. The Bolts got their revenge Week 17 inside ArrowHead Stadium where a Novak Game Winning FG booted San Diego past KC. The win dropped KC down to the Wildcard Round where they must once again play San Diego in the first round. KC should be fuming at the mouth for this but San Diego won't go down quietly.

                        4. Dallas Cowboys(11-5) @ 5. San Francisco 49ers(12-4)

On Opening Sunday, the San Francisco 49ers were upset in Arlington when the Dallas Cowboys dropped 34 points on Vic Fangio's Defense. This loss left a bad taste in the mouth of Jim Harbaugh throughout the year. With the rematch back in Dallas thanks to Seattle clinching the West, the 9ers will look for revenge as they embark on yet another Playoff Run in the Harbaugh ERA.

                        Arizona Cardinals(11-5) @ 3. Chicago Bears(12-4)

Arizona is trying to become the first Team in History to host their own Super Bowl. However that dream is still intact but now the Cardinals must win on the Road to achieve it. Arizona was in firm control to win the West Division Title and possibly the #1 Seed before losing crucial Games down the stretch dropped Arizona way down to the 6th Seed. Chicago is back in the Playoffs for the first time since 2010. Marc Trestman has done wonders turning the Bears around. The first test will be this Weekend taking on Todd Bowles Ball Hawking Defense of the Arizona Cardinals who must slow down MVP Jay Cutler and Company.

Seahawks D.C Dan Quinn has been granted permission by Seahawks General Manager John Schneider and Head Coach Pete Carroll to interview with Teams in pursuit of his first Head Coaching Gig.

But the Contract Deal will have to wait should they be an offer. The Seattle Seahawks have the First Round BYE as Quinn is set to interview with the New York Giants tomorrow, Oakland Raiders on Wednesday and the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday.

Should any Team offer him a Deal, the Contract will have to wait until the Seahawks Season is over.

Quinn, was one of the mastermind's behind the Legion of Boom Seahawks Defense that just won the Super Bowl last February. This Season, Seattle ranked Top 10 on Defense with Cornerback Richard Sherman racking up 9 Interceptions this Season.

The Oakland Raiders are expressing interest in interviewing Denver Broncos Defensive Coordinator Jack Del Rio.

It's unsure at the moment if he's lined up for a Interview for the vacant Head Coaching Spot or Defensive Coordinator.

Earlier this morning the Raiders fired Head Coach Dennis Allen, Offensive Coordinator Greg Olson, and Defensive Coordinator Jason Tarver after the Raiders became the 2nd Team in NFL History to go 0-16.

The Raiders will also interview Dan Quinn and other candidates until Mark Davis feels that he has his man.

Del Rio would be a good fit in turning around a Team that has lost 22 straight Games dating back to the end of last Season.

The Miami Dolphins appear to already have their next Head Coach in former Green Bay Packers Coach Mike McCarthy.

Should be no surprise as Dolphins Owner Stephen Ross held a meeting over Thanksgiving with McCarthy to discuss a potential move to South Beach.

McCarthy was having problems with the locker room over the year and it caused a major rift between the two.

So bad that the Players were seen arguing with McCarthy on the sidelines during Games. McCarthy was never making adjustments and the Packers Offense was stale as Green Bay slumped to a 9-7 Record after a 6-2 start.

After a 31-7 crushing at the hands of the Detroit Lions in the Season Finale, McCarthy packed his bags and made a beeline for Miami.

Over the Thanksgiving Holiday, McCarthy was spotted on the Beaches of Miami and having Contract Negotiations with the Miami Dolphins. Ross already made it known he was planning on firing Head Coach Joe Philbin to make room for McCarthy.
