San Antonio, TX — In a season where Cam Fitzpatrick’s name became synonymous with UTSA’s success, the young Roadrunner capped off his impressive freshman campaign by being named to the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Freshman All-Conference Team. Fitzpatrick's stellar debut was highlighted by a combination of poise, accuracy, and playmaking ability, setting the stage for a bright future under center in San Antonio.

A Record-Setting Freshman Campaign
Fitzpatrick’s season totals are remarkable by any standard, let alone for a first-year quarterback. He completed 341 of his 525 pass attempts (64%) for 3,320 yards, 29 touchdowns, and only nine interceptions. Additionally, he showed flashes of mobility, adding four rushing touchdowns. With these numbers, Fitzpatrick not only earned the respect of his peers but also etched his name into the UTSA record books.
Fitzpatrick’s 3,320 passing yards and 29 touchdown passes are both the second-most in a single season in UTSA history, trailing only the record-setting performances of Frank Harris. Starting Over

Cam still felt the buzz from UTSA’s biggest win in years. Taking down Texas A&M had lit up the city and his phone. Messages flooded in, from congratulations to NIL pitches.
