Wow...12-3...bummer man. I don't recall having issues with the Sharks but the Wings and Pens always give me fits.

Would really like to see your sliders! I'm really happy with mine which were a set of yours that I ever so slightly tweeked. I see a lot of random games too which is a lot of fun. I thought I was winning too many games but then I realized my stats are actually on par with the real Capitals. I think Washington's offensive fire power has saved me on a couple nights for sure. I think I would struggle a great deal on super star with a lesser team. So I really give you guys props for trying to build a team up and continue to play on super star

Put that game behind you. They happen. I've had a couple teams drop 6 or more on my Caps. It happens...

Danny Heatley scored 4 goals tonight giving the sniper 7 goals in the last two games against the Wolverines and a league leading 29 on the season.

Patrick Marleau collected 6 points tonight on a pair of goals and four assists.

Wolves Return To Alaska With Bounce Back Win Over Nucks

Peter Forsberg scored a goal and added a pair of assists as his positive play continued in a solid 4-1 win over Vancouver tonight. The Wolverines will now look to avenge the embarrassing loss to the Sharks in 48 hours when San Jose comes to town. Aside from the 12-3 thrashing, the last San Jose appearance in Anchorage was a 6-4 win as the Wolves would lose a 4-2 late in regulation.

Anchorage CEO has issued a team order to make it difficult building to play...

"These guys (San Jose) embarrassed us morbidly less than 72 hours ago and now they've come into our barn...whether they beat us or not, they will earn their 'just due' with blood", stated David Swansen, Anchorage Wolverines CEO.

The NHL fined Swansen 1,000 dollars for the offense...

Swansen gave them 1250 dollars and thanked them for the pleasure. How's that for mahtzee?

Wolverines Avenge Sharks In New Years Eve Battle

Ilya Bryzgalov allowed 4 goals on 5 shots in the first period before being yanked in favor of Labarbera. The reliable backup would shut the Sharks down stopping 23 of the 24 shots he would face in 45 minutes of play.

San Jose's Joe Pavelski and Anchorage center Evgeni Malkin both tallied a pair of goals and an assist on the night. Malkin's goal gives him 30 on the season, tied with Danny Heatley who scored tonight as well.
