I love your dynasty layout. I know a little bit of HTML, so I hope you don't mind but I might copy a part of your layout if it is ok.

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you all know OS now has an official Discord that you can join right now. We’ve kicked around Discords for individual games in the past, but it felt like the right time to make it more of an official thing.
Steve and I have wanted to get this going for a bit because we obviously still hear from y’all who are unhappy with some stuff on the forums, plus when there are forum outages we still want to have a place for everyone to hang. My overarching goal for the longer term is to have both Discord and the forums ultimately work together. There are some logistical issues with the vBulletin forums that don’t allow things to sync right with Discord so there will be a little maneuvering as we try to get mods and forum members any proper roles/tags they need on the Discord, but we can work through that stuff easily enough as people join.
Our general goal is to give people more options to interact with OS community members, whether that’s Discord, the forums, this newsletter, or improved apps. If people want to stick more to the forums, that’s cool. If people want to stick more to the Discord, that’s also cool. In my perfect world, we do a lot of BSing and day-to-day chatting on the Discord about games and sports, and then more of the “in-depth” discussions or hefty things like long slider breakdowns or analysis of gameplay end up on the forums so that can act as a sort of “best of” area for anything OS community related. That said, you all will ultimately shape how the ecosystem shakes out, I just want to give you spaces you like so you can have a good time with other folks in the community.
The same general rules will apply on the Discord as they do on the forums, and we’ve brought most of the forum categories to the Discord as well so there should not be too much confusion as you navigate around.
With the Operation Sports and Discord announcement now out there, it’s also worth mentioning our OS premium newsletter, which quietly launched a couple of weeks ago. Built off the Not Just Another Roster Update newsletter, it offers a mix of retrospectives, guides, interviews and deeper dives into the sports gaming world—covering both current and classic titles.

![]() Thanks For Playing BUFFALO, NY - The struggling Buffalo Sabres were dealt another blow when second line center Jochen Hecht left the game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on January 13th. The Sabres would go on to win 4-1 but the news turned sour when they found out Hecht had a concussion and will be kept out the remainder of the regular season. The 34-year-old Hecht is in the final year of his current contract and could have played his last game in a Sabres uniform if the Buffalo does not reach the playoffs. With Hecht out of the lineup Cody Hodgson will step into the second line center role the rest of the year and Corey Tropp will begin to see playing time on the fourth line. As the Sabres dealt with the adjustments the chase for the playoffs continued as the team went 5-5 in the fifth block of the season. The Sabres had a big chance to pull closer to the eight seed in their most recent game Montreal, who currently holds that spot, but fell 4-2 and are now four points outside of the playoff picture. Highlight of the Block: The 4-1 victory of Toronto. The Maple Leafs have dominated Buffalo so far this season so despite losing center Jochen Hecht getting a win over a team that has had Buffalo's number shows signs of promise. Needs Improvement: Winning the key games. Six teams sit in the East with 53-54 points and Buffalo is one of them. Winning over Montreal in their last game would have not only put Buffalo ahead of this pack but also would have kept Buffalo within two points of the eight seed but the Sabres never had a chance in this big matchup.

Derek Roy Lone Sabres All-Star Ottawa, ON - Derek Roy got the nod, Thomas Vanek did not as the 2011-2012 season was halted for the All-Star break. While Roy did not register a point, the Eastern Conference handled the Western Conference 5-2. Winnipeg and Washington were the most represented teams for the Eastern Conference, each having three All-Star selections. Capitals goalie Tomas Vokoun started in net for the East. |

Buffalo Acquires D Kyle Cumiskey Buffalo, NY - ![]() In return, the Buffalo Sabres send D Andrej Sekera and a 2012 2nd round pick to the Ducks. While Buffalo parts with the additional second round pick they had they do acquire the better defender. While Cumiskey is rather small compared to the rest of the Sabres defense, at 5-10, he is instantly the fastest defenseman Buffalo has. |

![]() In The Mix BUFFALO, NY - Buffalo put together their most successful ten game stretch since the start of the season to climb into the 8th spot in the Eastern Conference. Seven goals in ten games from leading scorer Thomas Vanek helped the Sabres accomplish that, as did offensive explosions like the one that game against the New Jersey Devils on Valentine's Day. Six different Sabres totaled seven goals as Buffalo beat New Jersey 7-0. Buffalo would shutout Philadelphia the next game with a 1-0 win as part of six scoreless periods from goalkeeper Ryan Miller. New acquisition Kyle Cumisky recorded one goal and two assists in his first ten games with the Sabres. After 60 games played Buffalo currently holds the tie-breaker over three other teams (Carolina, Florida, and Pittsburgh) that also have 65 points.

NHL Trade DUD-line Buffalo, NY - One of the most exciting days of the NHL season was not exciting at all. Only one trade was made official and that was between two teams in the same division. Sitting in the 8th spot in the East the Sabres decided to not seek out any trades for the future but Buffalo was sent a slew of offers with the majority asking for winger Thomas Vanek who is off-limits. The trade offer Buffalo gave the most consideration to was from Philadelphia who offered C Maxime Talbot and G Sergei Brobrovsky for winger Brad Boyes and Buffalo's 2012 1st round selection. The Sabres front office looked at the trade as Talbot and Boyes cancelling each other out and Buffalo trading their number one pick for a backup goaltender that will never be the starter over Ryan Miller and denied the trade. As for the lone trade... |
