Dude that was awesome! Your reactions to what was going on in the match really added another layer to the proceedings, great job. As for the game, tough tough loss, to a team, in all honesty that was ripe to be beaten. The formation switch I think is a good one because Villa simply doesn't have the horses to run a system as physically and mentally demanding as a 4-3-3.
A 4-3-1-2 I think would work well with Gaby playing the #10 behind Wickham and Bentaleb and Delph leading the midfield behind them.

Face cam is a tricky thing, ha. I forgot a couple times that I had it running. I've been known to be very focused when playing - so live commentary is tough, let alone frickin' face cam. Alas, it was a joy to do - and will continue to do with my channel as it's been established a bit better now with a solid niche.

I will take your advice about the formation for sure. The 4-4-2 was a decision to get back to basics. I am still at a loss of what needs to happen to get more goals. I know it's not sliders now, lol. Wickham definitely needs some more support than he's been getting though.

I usually play wih individual instructions and they make a hell of a diference if used properly. Don´t know if you´re already doing it though.

Another tough loss, and I'm all for you reverting back to simplicity to try and generate some chances with the 4-4-2, but please for the love of God don't expect to score goals with Bentaleb who is a CDM at striker haha. You have McManaman who can play up top with Wickham, Agbonlahor who is a beast up top, and then play Weimann in a wide midfield spot. If you badly want Bentaleb in the lineup then use him in central midfield or heck even at LM if you switch him with Gabby but you're literally shooting yourself in the foot IMO putting him so close to goal.

Moose - you're right, and it's tough because I know the truth, but man Bentaleb is the only one who can seem to strike on target next to Delph. But I hear what you're saying loud and clear. The LM wouldn't be terrible, and he could cover for Sanchez and Delph pretty well when they mosey on forward.

I'm not sure about Weiman still. Need to give him more opportunities for sure.

Again, use instruction man, you´ll play better. You can put Bentaleb in midfield but then instruct him to go forward when attacking, and to wait in the box for crosses. That way, you got support in midfield but he can also go into the box and play as a fake striker.
Also, you may want to instruct wingers/ side midfielders to cut inside and get behind. They will make more runs and get in dangerous positions more often.

Haha, that's right - you have already seen his talents - surely not better than Carroll, but definitely a great striker to build.

Are any of your forwards doing anything besides Wickham?
