    Who Reigns Supreme!?
    April Week 2, 2014

*A lot of pyrotechnics go off to open up Monday Night Raw*

*General Manager Jerry "The King" Lawler makes his way to the ring*

Lawler: "Welcome to Monday Night Raw! Last week we debuted much to the anticipation and fear of every wrestling fan in the world. We were the number one show on USA and the feedback has been amazing! Now I made a promise to you all that I would announce the men, based upon how much they impressed me last week, that would make up an 8 man tournament to crown our first ever WWE Champion at our pay-per-view Backlash in 3 weeks time. So without further ado, I give you the bracket!"

*Gestures to the titantron which shows the following matches:*
    Randy Orton vs. Dave Batista
    Sheamus vs. ???
    Luke Harper vs. Rusev
Rob Van Dam vs. Seth Rollins

Lawler: "There you have it! I know a lot of you are saying there are only seven names up there! This week we will see two of these tournament matches and the final two will take place next week. The eighth man will make his debut next week for his match. The reason he has yet to debut is due to an unfortunate accident that occurred before we made it to live shows but he has assured us he is healthy and ready to go...."

*Roman Reigns music hits and he storms to the ring with a microphone*

Reigns: "You care to explain to me how I am not in that bracket Jerry!?"

Lawler: "Well Roman, you were the first man thrown over the top rope in the battle royal last week. You didn't do a lot to impress me. At least Rob Van Dam put up a fight when he lost. Unfortunately you just haven't impressed me yet and until you do, there will not be a title shot in your future."

Reigns: "Haven't impressed you huh? Well I'll tell you what "King", I'll see what I can do. No one's going to miss your mystery wrestler too much if he never debuts."

*Roman drops the mic and walks out of the ring leaving a flustered Jerry Lawler in the ring.*

Triple Threat Match: AJ Lee vs. Nikki Bella vs. Alexa Bliss
This match is a continuation of the quest to crown a Women's Champion. The winner and competitor who is not pinned or submitted will advance to face off for the title. Just like last week the divas brought their A game. Nikki Bella hit her "Rack Attack" on AJ Lee and then was thrown from the ring by Alexa Bliss. Bliss then hit AJ with the "Sparkle Splash" and picked up the win.
Winner and Advancing to the Women's Championship Match: Alexa Bliss by pinfall
Nikki Bella also Advances to Women's Championship Match
    ----

    *Backstage Segment*

*Sheamus and Daniel Bryan are preparing for their match in the locker room*

Sheamus: "Okay listen, last week we taught those inbred goons a lesson. We need to continue to get in their heads though, so I need to know if you have my back?"

Bryan: "I'll give you a hand Sheamus but it is going to cost you. See, last week we both attacked Harper and Rowan but the general manager only saw fit to recognize you in the WWE Title tournament. So, if I help you... you need to promise me a title match if you win the WWE Championship."

Sheamus: "Is that all? I'll tell you what Fella, you help me tonight and in the tournament and I personally guarantee you're first in line for a shot."

    Bryan: "Deal!"
    ----

WWE Championship Tournament Match: Randy Orton vs. Dave Batista
The first match of the title tournament pits the self proclaimed "Beast of WWE" against the young Randy Orton. This match wasn't as much a cake walk as either competitor would have liked as each man was struggling to continue from fatigue. Batista's power kept him in the match while Randy's innovation and speed kept him in the hunt as well. Batista would hit a spear on Orton who kicked out at 2 and then delivered an "RKO" which Batista kicked out of. The war would wage on till both men were down and almost counted out to a draw. The first to their feet was Batista and he'd deliver what he's calling the "Batista Bomb" to an exhausted Orton for the 1-2-3.
Winner and Advancing to the WWE Championship Semi-Finals: Dave Batista by pinfall
    ----

    *Post Match Segement*

*Once again Batista calls for a microphone after his match*

Batista: "Once again I prove my dominance. I am just two wins away from being the WWE Champion and taking my place above this roster like I deserve. The Beast is..."

*Brock Lesnar's music hits and Batista turns to the stage waiting for an attack. Brock comes from behind and delivers an F-5*

Cole: "Brock Lesnar with the F-5 to Dave Batista! The second week in a row we've seen this sight."

JBL: "You ain't kidding Michael. Brock is a big boy and he's twice left Dave down and out in the ring after a match. I'm starting to think we're looking at the WWE Championship finale in these two animals."
    ----

Match 3: Erick Rowan w/ Luke Harper vs. Sheamus w/ Daniel Bryan
A grudge match between these four men. Last week Sheamus ambushed Harper with a chair while Bryan took out Rowan. Harper is still not medically cleared to compete so Rowan is attempting to gain some revenge against Sheamus tonight. It was not in the cards however, Sheamus would use the rope for leverage while Bryan held his feet and steal the win. The two then fled before the outraged Harper could get into the ring.
    Winner: Sheamus by pinfall
    ----

    Match 4: Christian vs. Rusev
For those expecting a great match this one certainly delivered as it was back and forth the whole time. Eventually Rusev would get frustrated though and take to attacking Christian in the corner till the ref was forced to call the match. Rusev would then lock in the "Accolade" until being forced by referees to break it.
    Winner: Christian by DQ
    ----

    *GM's Office Segement*

*The camera comes in mid conversation between Dean Ambrose and GM Lawler*

Ambrose: "...screwed last week! They weren't even in the match, you can't just sit outside the ring for the whole thing then slide in and claim the title. What would happen if we all just did that? There would be anarchy!"

Lawler: "I hear you Dean, I do. In fact tonight I'm going to let Bray and Chris vent all that frustration they clearly had with each other last week. They'll face off one-on-one at the end of the night, right now I have other matters to attend to but your problems are important. So walk with me, we'll see if we can't rectify this for you..."

*Lawler escorts Ambrose out of his office while the two discuss something quietly*
    ----

WWE Championship Tournament Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Seth Rollins
Bit of an odd match up seeing as both these men lost last week but, they must have done something to impress Jerry Lawler as these two men are fighting in the WWE Championship Tournament. This fight was fast paced and high flying as both men seemed to be trying to one up each other and confirm they deserved the opportunity. Rob would make the first mistake though, same as last week missing a splash, and Rollins would plant him with a "Curb Stomp" for the 1-2-3.
Winner and Advancing to the WWE Championship Semi-Finals: Seth Rollins by pinfall
    ----

    *Post Match*

*Rollins is celebrating in the ring when he is ambushed and speared by Roman Reigns. Reigns proceeds to target the ribs of Rollins and hits him with a chair repeatedly.*

Cole: "We need a medic down here, Rollins must have several broken ribs. This is a terrible display by Roman Reigns!"

JBL: "I guess Roman couldn't wait for the new guy. If you want to impress you take out the first guy you can. Rollins happened to be that guy tonight, if he can't compete next week you have to assume Roman will get into this tournament. I love the ambition, bring on the Roman Empire!"
    ----

Main Event: Bray Wyatt vs. United States Champion Chris Jericho
Whatever is going on between Bray Wyatt and Chris Jericho continues to boil over as Bray would attack Jericho from behind to begin the match. After finally getting Jericho in the ring, Wyatt would deliver the "Sister Abigail for an easy win.
    Winner: Bray Wyatt by pinfall
    ----

    *Post Match*

*Bray picks up Chris' US Championship and holds it over his head when Dean Ambrose's music hits*

Ambrose: "Congratulations Bray, it looks like today is my lucky day. I've always been one whose good at betting on the horses and I've proven that once again. You see, earlier when Mr. Lawler was telling me that you'd be facing Chris tonight in the Main Event it got me thinking, what would I do if after fighting with a man all night I still lost the title to him? I'd make sure he learned his lesson and I'd leave him unconscious in the center of the ring the next chance I got. So, I made a little bet with Jerry. The bet was that you would win tonight, if that happened you and I would square off next week to determine the number one contender Chris' new US Championship. So I'll see you next week Bray, by the way that match will be a No Disqualification Match!"

*Raw ends with Bray laughing in the ring and hugging the title*

Great show man. RVD always coming up short in title opportunities.

The epic no-DQ matches between Bray & Dean continues.

I think you can pair these two in any match and it'll be at least a 4-star match, reality or virtuality.

Thanks and agreed Rob needs to get it together. I just let the matches sim so the story evolves as each week goes and when I say Rob is missing his Frog Splash he really is, it's sad to watch haha. Bray and Dean will be fun, I like this 3 way triangle that was accidentally created so I'm hoping to run with it a bit and really make the US Tile matter.

So to the viewing audiences knowledge, RVD's some clumsy character that can't hit his finisher lol.

And either Bray vs. Ambrose or Jericho vs. Bray will be a great rivalry.

            Don't Turn Around
            April Week 2, 2014

*Smackdown opens with a lot of pyrotechnics in Los Angeles, California. Afterwards the music of Curtis Axel hits*

Axel: "I am out here tonight to report a travesty! Nah, call it gross negligence! You are all witnesses to this but in case you need a reminder..."

*Gestures to titantron which shows him being hit by the S.O.S. from Kofi Kingston and pinned last week*

Axel: "There you see! Right there look how Cody Rhodes does nothing! Our general manager Vince McMahon has mishandled me as a superstar and it only took him one week. You can't create a singles title and then ask me to rely on another superstar to earn that championship. I am a man who relies on himself! Cody Rhodes is a no talent half wit who just got lucky enough to be given a moment of attention when he was teamed with me. So I am demanding that Mr. McMahon correct this situation and either put me into the title hunt or award me the Intercontinental title outright since I was clearly the best wrestler in that match!"

*Mr. McMahon's music hits and he struts to the ring*

Mr. McMahon: "Excuse me Curtis I must have heard you wrong, it sounded like you said you demand that I do something. I know that must be a mistake though because that would be something that disrespects me. I don't like to be disrespected, people who disrespect me are probably destined for short careers."

Axel: "No Mr. McMahon, I would never make demands. I must have mispoken..."

Mr. McMahon: "Yes, I thought so. You see Curtis, I am a man of reason. With that said, I can see your upset with young Cody back there so I'm going to give you a chance to redeem yourself. A one-on-one, if I like what I see maybe we talk future plans for championships. As of right now though I stand by my choices. I do not make mistakes, you were paired with Cody and you lost! So now you will accept the consequences and earn your way to the top like everyone else. Now get the hell out of my ring."

            *Curtis Axel leaves rather ashamed*

Mr. McMahon: "I was going to wait till later tonight for this but since I am out here, I'll address the elephant in the room. What is going on with the World Title on Smackdown? The simple answer is this, there is no plan. There are a lot of tournaments for titles going on right now between our own Intercontinental Championship and Raw's WWE Championship Tournament. This is the first World Champion we crown on Smackdown and I'll be damned if it's just handed over to any schmuck who got lucky for a couple weeks. I will be evaluating everyone carefully on this roster and determine who will square off for the title. When will this be, I am not sure but I'm making a clear statement to everyone in the back. Stop demanding the World Championship with words and start taking some damn action!"
            ----

Match 1: Big Show vs. Justin Gabriel
Gabriel lasted a bit longer than Fandango did last week. Ultimately this was still a one and done match though as Show would eventually capture Gabriel and hit him with the "W.M.D." for the win.
            Winner: Big Show by pinfall

            *Post Match Segment*

*Big Show has knocked off the steel steps and positioned Gabriel in front of them*

Cole: "Oh no, we've seen this before. Big Show did this to Fandango last week!"

*Big Show chokeslams Gabriel onto the stairs and makes his leave as medics check on him.*

JBL: "This giant is not playing nice Michael. He wants to be the man on this roster and if that means he has to incapacitate every other man to do so, then so be it."
            ----

Match 2: Rey Mysterio vs. Fandango
The crowd loved this match and it was a good chance to see what Fandango brought to the table since last week he was knocked out just after the bell against Big Show. His power matched well opposite Rey's luchador style but eventually Mysterio would hit the "619" and pick up the victory.
            Winner: Rey Mysterio by pinfall
            ----

Match 3: The Miz w/ Dolph Ziggler vs. Jimmy Uso w/ Jey Uso

The Miz and Ziggler strutted to the ring each wearing one of the Usos titles as if they'd won them. Ziggler held on to the titles at ringside while this match went on. Miz would hit his skull crushing finale on Jimmy, but Jimmy was able to kick out. After a failed second attempt Jimmy would take control and look to put the Miz away. He climbed to the top rope just in time to see Dolph hit Jey in the back of the head with the titles. Jimmy hopped down from the rope and was quickly rolled up by Miz from behind. The two scamper up the ramp with the stolen titles still in possession.
            Winner: The Miz by pinfall
            ----

Match 4: Curtis Axel vs. Cody Rhodes
This match delivered after being given the hype it did to start the show. Cody Rhodes brought the fight nearly winning several times. He managed to DDT Curtis Axel on the apron but Axel was able to get back in the ring at a count of 9. He would then go on to hit "Cross Rhodes" but Axel got his foot on the bottom rope. Axel remained resilient and would finally connect on the "Perfect-Plex" and pick up the 1-2-3."
            Winner: Curtis Axel by pinfall
            ----

            *Backstage Interview*

Renee Young: "Excuse me Cody, tough loss tonight to Curtis Axel but I think the fans would agree you looked impressive. How are you feeling?"

Rhodes: "Renee, looking good and winning are two completely different things. Look at me, I look good all the time inside or outside of that ring. Tonight Curits Axel took some cheap shots at me and called me a terrible wrestler. When a man does that you need to kick his a** to prove him wrong. At the end of the day, all people are going to remember here is that Axel called me out and then won."
            ----

Match 5: Cesaro vs. CM Punk
This one was back and forth the entire way. CM Punk was looking to make a statement and so was Cesaro. Punk dismantled the announce table and tried to put Cesaro through it but he escaped. The two would return to the ring where Punk would get him in the "Anaconda Vice" but Cesaro managed to power his way out of it. It would return to back and forth and eventually Punk would climb the top rope and go for a diving elbow drop but get caught with a European Uppercut in midair. The crowd went nuts when Punk was able to kick out of it sure that this one was over... then John Cena's music hit. Cesaro turned around looking for the man who had hit him with the brass knuckles last week but he never appeared. This was plenty of time for CM Punk to recover, he hits the "GTS" for the win.
            Winner: CM Punk by pinfall

            *Post Match Segment*

*Cesaro follows the ref out of the ring complaining and demanding a restart. John Cena comes from the crowd and hits Cesaro again with the brass knuckles. He then picks up the unconscious Cesaro and delivers an F-U through the stripped down announce table and grabs a mic.*

            John Cena: "Cesaro!
Mr. McMahon said we need to make a statement
So like Shaq from the Lakers
            I'm throwing you out
            Consider this your deportation papers!"
            ----

Main Event: Kofi Kingston & Damien Sandow vs. Ryback & Jack Swagger
The Semi-Final of the Intercontinental Championship Tournament was nothing short of a thriller. There were near falls all match long, Sandow hit the "You're Welcome", Ryback hit his "Shell Shocked", and Swagger had Kofi moments from tapping out. The changing point in the match that led to the eventual end occurred when Ryback tagged Swagger without Swagger's knowing. The two would argue and eventually Kofi would hit the "S.O.S." while Swagger looked on.
Winners and Advancing to the Intercontinental Championship Finals: Kofi Kingston & Damien Sandow by pinfall

            *Post Match Segment*

*Kofi and Sandow are celebrating. Sandow climbs the turnbuckle and signals the title to the crowd*

Cole: "Well we know our main event for next week, Kofi Kingston and Damien Sandow will square off for the Intercontinental Championship. We'll declare the inaugural champion!"

JBL: "Might have spoken too soon there, one of these men might not make it to the finals."

            Cole: "Damien, don't turn around!"

*As Sandow turns off the turnbuckle he is caught by a devastating "Trouble in Paradise" from Kofi Kingston. Kingston stands over the fallen Sandow and then gestures the title to the crowd in a mocking way as Smackdown goes off the air.*

Kofi and Sandow advancing is interesting as well. Should be a good match.

Miz and Ziggler is an interesting pair, a little bit of cockiness there.

Great show. It's great to see those four men main eventing over John Cena for example.

Speaking of John Cena, I love that he's back to square one. I'm a HUGE fan of hip hop, so I've always been partial to that gimmick, even though it would bother me when he spit something that made him look stupid.

Thanks, I liked the Ziggler and Miz pairing. I thought it was something that would have happened before Dolph became a face and it never did. Also Sandow and Kofi are doing really well so it prompted me to try and boost guys like Axel.

Yeah haha just proves it is day one when Kofi Kingston and Damien Sandow is about to be a main event match. Also Cena coming in to the WWE is what I was trying to stick to, how he was when he was younger so it made sense to bring back his old personality.

                    April Week 3, 2014

*A lot of pyrotechnics go off to open Monday Night Raw*

Michael Cole: "Hello and welcome to Monday Night Raw! Quite the show we have in store for you as we are just two weeks away from Backlash! I'm joined as always by my good friend JBL."

JBL: "Good friend!? Let's not get carried away Michael. You are right though we have a huge night ahead. Two more matches in the WWE Championship Tournament take place!"

Cole: "Let's not forget that we will crown the first ever WWE Women's Champion tonight too. We will also find out who this mystery superstar is that Mr. Lawler promised us last week."

JBL: "That's if he makes it here, remember Roman Reigns promised last week to make sure that didn't happen."

Cole: "Finally we are set to have a colossal main event when Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt square off in a no disqualification match for the right to face United States Champion Chris Jericho at the pay-per-view."

JBL: "I can't wait for that match, nothing like a good old fashioned no holds barred match. Anything can happen I'm smiling just thinking about it!"

Cole: "Well let's not wait any longer, we start with our first of the two championship tournament matches."

WWE Championship Tournament Match: Luke Harper w/ Erick Rowan vs. Rusev
This match was back and forth, early on Harper dominated easily. It wasn't until he tried to put Rusev away that Rusev stepped up. He began dissecting Harper for the Accolade, when he had it locked in Rowan hopped into the ring. Rusev distracted had the ref throw Rowan out and ban him from ringside. This was a large enough distraction though as when Rusev turned around, he turned straight into Harper's "Discus Clothesline" for the 1-2-3.
Winner and Advancing to the WWE Championship Semi-Finals: Luke Harper by pinfall
                    ----

Match 2: Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam
This match was a show of athletic ability from beginning to end. Randy Orton and Rob Van Dam chain wrestled to start but Orton would get the advantage and begin to try and ground Rob with powerful quick moves. Van Dam would battle back though and eventually have Orton set up for his finisher. He climbs the ropes, the fans are quiet as they've seen this fail each week thus far, he jumps... and Orton catches him for an "RKO"! The ref counts it, 1-2-3.
                    Winner: Randy Orton by pinfall

                    *Pre-Match Segment*

*Jerry Lawler makers his way to the ring and takes up a microphone*

Lawler: "It's my unfortunate pleasure to bring you all a bit of bad news. It seems that in the attack by Roman Reigns last week, Seth Rollins sustained an injury. He has broken ribs and a bit of internal bleeding. Currently we have not been given a time table on his return but we here at WWE wish him all the best."

*The crowd cheers in response to hoping Seth recovers soon*

Lawler: "This does leave us in a bit of a predicament though as Seth had advanced to the next round of the WWE Championship Tournament. I thought long and hard about who would replace him and I could only think of one person. This man has attacked his competitors post match each week seeking to make a statement. Well I heard your statement and I hope you prove me right, come on out!"

*The fans look to the stage expecting to see Roman Reigns... Brock Lesnar's music hits. He makes his way to the ring but before he can speak The Beast Dave Batista's music hits and he comes charging to the ring. Brock manages to roll out though and head back up the ramp laughing.*

Lesnar: "Save it for the tournament!"

Match 3: Dave Batista vs. Christian
For the better part of this match Batista's head was not in it. He made a lot of mistakes that allowed Christian to nearly win. Christian would take control and deliver a "Killswitch" but only get a 2 count. He then would set up for a spear but Batista caught him and used his momentum to turn it into a "Batista Bomb" for the easy 1-2-3.
                    Winner: Dave Batista by pinfall

WWE Women's Championship Match: Nikki Bella vs. Alexa Bliss
The first Women's Championship Match did not disappoint. Nikki Bella and Alexa Bliss put on a show. Nikki hit her "Rack Attack" only for Alexa Bliss to kick out at two. Alexa Bliss would get back into the match and hit her "Sparkle Splash" and Nikki would also kick out at two and roll to the outside.

Cole: "Did Nikki just go under the ring?"

JBL: "She's trying to buy some time, under there who's going to hurt her?"

Nikki would return to the ring looking noticeably more refreshed and reverse an attempt by Alexa Bliss and hit the "Bella Buster" for the win.
Winner and New WWE Women's Champion: Nikki Bella by pinfall

                    *In Ring Segment*

*Roman Reigns has taken the ring and demanded a microphone*

Reigns: "I had intended here tonight to take out the new guy as I promised. Last week I injured Seth Rollins and rather than show any sort of common sense Jerry "the King" didn't add me to the tournament. It's as if he wants me to continue to injure guys. This could all be avoided if he would just add me to the tournament. Instead he ignores me, so as I said I intended to injure the new guy. Problem is, he's a no show! He must have got word that I was planning to hurt him and stayed home. So Sheamus, get on down here because I am taking his spot. I'm not giving Jerry a chance to screw this one up, let's go!"

*Suddenly the lights go out all over the arena. An eerie feeling creeps in as a video appears on the screen showing a girl crying. She appears to be sitting down holding something, the camera pans slowly to her hands and she is holding a burnt stuffed animal. It pans back up to the girls face and briefly you see a masked man in the background. Just before the video ends a single word flashes... Kane.*

Cole: "I'm not sure what we just saw but Roman is noticeably shaken. He looks like he's about to run out of here."

*The ring bursts into flame all around Roman. That's when the music hits and a masked man in red makes his way to the ring. He rolls into the ring through the flame and Roman attempts to strike him but he gets caught by the throat and is awarded a chokeslam for his efforts. The masked man known as Kane raises his hands then throws them down violently and fire erupts from the four ring posts.*

WWE Championship Tournament Match: Kane vs. Sheamus w/ Daniel Bryan
This match was brutal. Kane and Sheamus was just pure strength vs. pure strength. Kane would control early on but a distraction by Daniel Bryan would allow Sheamus back into it. He would hit the "Irish Curse" and then lay Kane out with the "Brogue Kick". Kane kicked out at two to the surprise of everyone and then sat up which left Sheamus in a state of shock. Sheamus much like Reigns then tried to attack the masked man only to be caught and promptly chokeslammed for the win.

Wyatt: "Dean Ambrose, you have made your bed man. You see I was born into a world where there are no holds barred. I was forged in the stomach of hate, pain, and sin. In my world if you cut off someones head, two more grow back in it's place. I am the hydra Dean, I am the eater of men. I am the eater of souls. I am the eater of Worlds!"

Main Event No Hold's Barred Match: Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose
You could tell the championship opportunity meant a lot to both competitors. There were chairs all over the place in this match, Dean even hit Wyatt with the ring bell in an effort to pick up the win. After several near falls it looked like it was over when Bray hit the "Sister Abigail".

Cole: "Here comes Jericho, "Codebreaker" to Wyatt!"

JBL: "The champion is a smart man! He let these two men beat the hell out of each other and then he came down here to get him some!"

*The ref counts to ten and has to declare the match a draw as both men were unable to make it to their feet.*
                    No Contest: Double Count Out

Cole: "The refs calling for the bell, we don't have a winner. What does this mean?"

JBL: "Clearly it means there is no number one contender. Jericho being the smart man he is just made sure he gets to hold onto that title. Neither of these men could stand so neither of them deserve a chance."

Cole: "I don't think that's true. Both of them put on a great match and you have to believe Bray was about to win. Jericho screwed up the ending to a great match, I would be shocked if he gets away with it."

*Raw fades off the air with Jericho holding his title over the bodies of both Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt.*

Really great show. Didn't expect Jericho to interfere in the match. Could we be looking at a triple threat then?

I'm thinking about it, I like the way this has played out between the three. Still playing with a couple ideas but it is a possibility.

Yeah I've always enjoyed the Big Red Monster when he was dominant so it seemed fitting to return him to his glory days. Also the US Title is as much my guess as all of yours right now.
