With new manager Alexander Horniger, VfB Stuttgart are looking to find their way back to European competition within the next couple seasons after enjoying a great run during the late 2000's. Their last two seasons saw them stay just clear of the relegation zone with finishes of 12th and 15th, their worst performance since the 2000-2001 season. President Bernd Wahler claims to understand it is a building process to get sustained success, however his track record of firing managers has Horniger on the ropes from day one.

I would agree with the 12th place finish, but will be gunning for better!





I don't see anything wrong with a mid-table finish.




I should be able to meet this goal...unless I'm paired up early against a giant...

This is a rough way to start the season. These guys were injured during preseason games I simulated. Schwaab was pegged in at CB to start the season, so that hurts. Didavi was a solid set of legs off the bench as a CDM to help freshen the midfield in a close game. Cheers boys, we'll see you around December!
