Thanks Reed. I'm liking it so far as it allows me to tell a story in more fleshed out detail, plus I can get farther with it cause 1 "episode" is so quick to write up.

October 2018, Week 2

Raw will broadcast live from The Barclays Center in New York. Finn has been granted his rematch with Goldust after last weeks events. Finn wants to end this one quickly, and hopefully get his career going back uphill before he really gets lost in the shuffle.

GOAL SET: Beat Goldust

6:00 PM

Two hours to showtime, Finn is walking around backstage when he runs into Seth Rollins. Rollins throws his headphones off his head.

Rollins: Heyyyy! My man! Hows it going.

Finn smiles and shakes Seths hand

Rollins: What do you got going on tonight.

Balor: I've got a one on one with Goldust

Rollins smile slowly starts to fade

Rollins: Ohhhh...

Balor: You don't have to give me the pity "oh." I'm well aware.

Rollins: They got you moving all up and down the card. What the hell is the deal?

Balor: Look I'm trying to figure it out every day, but all I can really do is give my best in whatever situation they put me in. Beat Goldust tonight, take it from there.

Rollins: Day by day.

Balor: Day by day.

They fist bump, Rollins throws his Beats headset back on and walks away.

8:45 PM

Balor and Goldust are coming up next. It's the second matchup of the night.

Michael Cole: BALOR CLUB... HAS ARRIVED

Balor makes his entrance to the usual fanfare, followed by Goldust. As Goldust walks down to the ring, they play a pre taped promo to the camera that he recorded earlier.

Goldust: Ughhh... Finn Balor. The Demon King with the movie star good looks. Well your looks are no fit for the kind of film I plan to create... but I'll have to find you a role, as the first victim.

One on one normal match
Finn Balor vs. Goldust

Goldust hits a quick kick straight to the gut of Balor as soon as the bell ring, and follows it up with a big charged up right hand to the side of the head. Balor tries to answer back with a right of his own, but Goldust grabs the arm and twists it, then steps over and delivers a back kick to the face of Balor. Balor falls to the floor and Goldust goes for the cover, kickout at one.

Goldust stays on Balor with a headlock. The crowd starts to will Balor on with a chant, and Balor is able to get up to his feet and elbow out of it. Goldust however just whips Balor into the corner and hits a hip attack on Balor that knocks him down to the ground. Cover by Goldust, but a kickout.

Goldust is looking very impressive. He picks up Balor and whips him into the ropes, Balor bounces back and hits a slingblade! Goldust gets back up and Balor hits him with a spinning back kick to the gut, followed by a dropkick that floors Goldust. Balor goes to the top rope thinking Coup de Grace, but Goldust gets up to his feet. Change of plans, Balor instead hits a huge hurricanrana from the top rope!

Goldust stumbles back to his feet again. Balor approaches him, and Goldust cuts him short with a forearm to the face. Goldust is thinking Final Cut, but Balor is able to shift his weight and end up behind Goldust for 1916! Goldust falls right in the landing zone! Balor goes up top and hits the Coup De Grace! 1-2-3!

GOAL MET: Beat Goldust

Balor celebrates the win. It wasn't his flashiest work, but it was a hard hitting stiff matchup, and Balor took care of business.

INNER MONOLOGUE: Hopefully that shows em I'm at least above Goldust's level. Day by day right

8:52 PM

Balor walks through the curtain into the backstage area after the match. He starts headed towards the locker room when he's approached by Bobby Roode.

Roode: Good job out there Finn, impressive win.

Balor: Thanks Bobby.

Roode: You know, I gotta be honest. When I look at the card and I see you going up against Goldust, I can't help but think you could be doing a little more than that. No disrespect intended.

Balor: Trust me I've heard all about it.

Roode: And I can say the same about myself, I'm not where I need to be right now either.

Roode starts to get serious

Roode: Listen. Me and you are former NXT champions. Once top prospects, now afterthoughts. Maybe it's about time we took action, maybe a tag team?

Balor: A tag team?

Roode: Yeah, a tag team.

Balor thinks for a moment

Balor: I don't really consider myself a tag team wrestler at the moment to be completely honest Bobby

Roode: Neither do I, but somethings gotta change here, and it's clear that the both of us are "lost in the shuffle." Why? Beats me, but it's not gonna change if we just sit around all day... Look, don't give me an answer now. Just think about it and get back to me by next week. Alright?

Balor gives Roode a nod. Roode smiles and walks off

11:10 PM

The show is over. Balor is in the back getting ready to go. His mind is running.

INNER MONOLOGUE: Roode is a convincing salesman. I'm not sure if entering a tag team is the best move for my career right now. I'm not even sure I can trust Bobby Roode. On the other hand, am I in a place to be turning down opportunities at this point?

GOAL SET: Decide by next week if you should team with Bobby Roode, or decline his offer.

October 2018, Week 2

Another edition of Smackdown live. A week after Orton injured Tye Dillinger by snapping his leg with a steel chair, he'll pay the price as General Manager Paige has booked him in a match against The Big Show.

GOAL SET: Defeat The Big Show

7:00 PM

Orton arrives at the arena way later than he probably should. No one says anything to him however, no one wants to get on Orton's bad side.

9:00 PM

Orton has been secluded all night long in his locker room. This is an on screen segment where he's approached by The Big Show. Orton stands up from his chair.

Big Show: Y'know I thought you had changed. I thought maybe you were passed this behavior. 16 years Randy. You've been around for 16 years and you still don't have a damn bit of respect for anyone.

Orton: Where has respect ever gotten anyone in this business?

Big Show: It gets you respect right back. That's what it gets. What you did to my friend Jeff Hardy, what you did to Tye Dillinger, you lost my respect, and you're gonna pay for it.

Big Show holds his giant fist up at Randy

Orton: We'll see where all this respect gets you tonight Big Show.

8:20 PM

One on one normal match
Randy Orton vs. The Big Show

Big Show gets a nice pop with his entrance. He's all smiles and high-fiving the crowd, but as soon as Orton's music hits, he gets real serious.

The bell rings and Orton immediately slips under the bottom rope and out of the ring. Big Show is begging Orton to man up and step into the ring. Eventually, Show decides to leave the ring and come after him. Orton immediately jumps on Show and starts throwing punches, but Show answers back with a huge body shot, then runs Orton over with a shoulder block.

Show gets Orton up, and Orton comes with a kick to the gut, then shoves Big Show into the ring post. He grabs Shows head and smashes it into the post. The ref is at a count of 5 as Orton re-enters the ring.

Big Show gets up at a count of 8 and slides in the ring, and Orton pounces on him. He lands some punches and kicks, but Show gets up to his feet and tosses Orton away. Orton gets up and Show tosses him into the corner, the runs into the corner squashing Orton. Show grabs the shoulder of Orton and starts squeezing the pressure point.

Show is looking for the WMD. Orton stumbles to his feet. Show throws the punch, but Orton dodges. He goes for an RKO, but Show tosses him off. Show runs at Orton but Orton again dodges and Show goes hard into the corner. Show turns around, RKO! 1-2-3!

GOAL MET: Defeat The Big Show

Orton is breathing hard after being in the ring with a giant. He has a flashback to what Show said to him in the locker room.

INNER MONOLOGUE: I need to get rid of The Big Show, or he'll just continue to try to get in my way.

Orton starts stomping on The Big Show. The ref tries to stop him, but Orton is set on beating down Show.



Orton grabs a steel chair, shades of his attack on Tye Dillinger last week. He places it on the leg of the Big Show. General Manager Paige comes sprinting down to the ring.

Paige tries to plead for Orton to stop. She is frantic and screaming.

Orton: I told you what was gonna happen!

Orton stomps on the chair and Show is screaming and writhing in pain. Paige calls for help as Orton walks off.

---commercial break---

9:33 PM

Orton walks past the curtain to the back after his match when he's approached by Sin Cara.

Sin Cara: My friend, I don't appreciate you hurting people like that. That's three injuries in three weeks. That's not what this business is about.

Orton is in disbelief at the gall of Sin Cara

Orton: What are you gonna do about it?

Sin Cara: You can meet me in the ring next week, and-

Orton cuts Sin Cara off with right hand to the face. He takes Sin Cara and throws him into a bunch of boxes set up in the backstage area. He then takes Sin Cara and hits a huge DDT right on the concrete. Security runs up and gets Orton away from Sin Cara.

Orton takes a deep breath. It's as if he's not even in control when his anger takes over him

DOMINO EFFECT: Ortons actions will effect Cedric Alexander down the line.

Great episode Smoove! Orton is on a rampage and I can't wait to see how his actions will affect Cedric!

So, I've finally been able to start getting caught up on other Universes (with school, masters work, and baseball playoffs).

This is such a cool concept and way different. I like it. Are you making their goals on your own?
