Don't know very much about the recruits from the Youngstown area, but I'm sure its a good get for the wolverines.

Here's to hoping talent starts to grow in the Big Ten, it was weird with UM being as awful as they were last year.

On another note: St Thomas Aquinas is apparently scheduled to play Upper Arlington in the Kirk Herbstreit Classic this year in Ohio Stadium. For those who dont know, Lamarcus Joyner and many many other division one recruits play for STA. Most likely won't be a very good day for UA but Ohio schools have done well in the competition the last few years so who knows.

Hey P2K, Michigan's offered OT Torrian Wilson and HB Corvin Lamb from Miami Northwestern...so here's the deal: you guys can keep those two, as long as you leave Dior Mathis alone and stay out of Cass Tech.

I think the chase after Mathis went cold a few months ago, so no need to worry about that.

As for the MNW players, I feel when it is all said and done, Wilson's a Cane.

Corvin Lamb, on the other hand, isn't really on the supposed radar. He was talking about Florida a couple of months ago. The RBs being talked about for Miami are Jakhori Gore, Eduardo Clements, and Gio Bernard.

Supposedly Michigan leads for Lamb at the moment. He seems to be all over the place though. Said he grew up following Penn State, then said he's high on Miami and FSU, and apparently has Michigan in the lead today.

              And to think...it's only March.

Another extremely long year of recruiting. Following it is worse than a hernia.

That's why I just pop on and ask Psyblast for Michigan updates. Makes things much easier since he's usually ontop of things.

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Penn Hills defensive back Cullen Christian had a great visit to Ann Arbor, Michigan will be tough to beat. Hopefully UM gets this kid CB definitely is a position of need in this class.

Celina, Texas, linebacker Caleb Lavey will be visiting Ann Arbor this weekend. His Dad is a UM alum so we should at least have a chance.
                  http://michigan.rivals.com/viewprosp...1&pr_key=90966

Johnstown (Ohio) Monroe offensive tackle Skyler Schofner is also visiting this week. We have a decent chance with Schofner. His family is good friends with former UM offensive lineman Mark Bihl.

St. Paul (Minn.) Cretin-Derham Hall offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson will also be in town he is Rivals #1 recruit. Don`t know how good of a chance UM will have but at least UM gets him on campus.

I kept hearing things about him in September, and I didn't think he was that good as a Sophomore, but he's really improved. He rushed for 1800 yards and passed for 1600. Deaton looked great against Jenks and Union, even though CPHS got blown out in both games. He should be a great replacement for Zac Robinson.

Rivals100 QB Phillip Simms is visiting UVA and Bama next month.

Sure would be nice to get a Rivals100 QB for the 3rd year in a row

They were basically Rivals100 QB's. McCarron was in the 100 until February and Jackson was in it at some point in '08.

Looks like Auburn is doing well with recruiting Michael Dyer, so far.

He visited Spring Practice today and said it was his favorite visit and he's done doing visits this spring. He said he'll probably attend 2-3 games, and even went as far as to say that Auburn was also probably going to be his best visit because he wants to save the best for last.

Too bad he's not verbaling anywhere anytime soon.
