I was optimistic about Lattimore, but oh well. It would have been an awesome accomplishment with him & Dyer in the same class.

If South Carolina is where he wants to play ball, then so be it.. :

Trinity Christian Academy (Jacksonville, Fla.) safety Rashad Knight has given a Class of 2010 commitment to the Scarlet Knights over the Wolverines.

Three-star cornerback Louis Young (Olney, Md./Good Counsel) has decommitted from Stanford, sources close to his situation have informed ESPN affiliate Web site InsideMDSports.com.

Young, who originally picked Stanford October of his junior year, has gone back and forth with the commitment several times.

Maryland, Virginia, Boston College, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Penn State, Iowa, Kansas State, Pittsburgh, North Carolina, Rutgers, Illinois, N.C. State, Wisconsin, UConn and Syracuse among others also offered.
HUGE pick-up. I'm not sure why espn has him as a 3*. He's the 14th ranked corner in the country, Scout and Rivals have him a 4*. Kid's an absolute STUD.

This will give us the 14th and 25th ranked corners in the country (Ryan Ayers). I love waking up to good news.

Ryan Smith of Cordova(AL) visited Auburn recently and he might be getting an offer today. If so, he'll switch his committment to Auburn. I'm assuming this is to replace DJ Howard.

I saw Smith play twice this year at Cordova. Kid is a bonafide stud. He's BIG for a DB too...like a legit 6'2.

We need some more DBs so this would be a welcome addition.

Finish the class with Jones, Smith, and Lemonier and I'm good to go. Sucks about Lattimore, but I'm not complaining about still having a 5 star tailback coming in August.

Rutgers with two big gets, Rashad Knight and Brandon Coleman. Coleman can be a beast at his height either 6'6 or 6'7 depending on who is doing the measuring, however odds are he is more like 6'4 or 6'5.

Now RU is down with FSU to get Jeremy Deering.

RU went from a very mediocre class to a pretty decent one considering how down the talent in NJ was this year.

I wouldn't count on seeing Jeremy Deering in NJ.

Anything is possible, I know one paper already has two links up for Deering one saying he picked the Knights, the other the Noles.

Charlie Strong doing a helluva job recruiting and he's only been on the job for what 2 months?

Chandler and Patterson signing tomorrow would be HUGE!

The Buckeyes may have lost their lead for the Minnesota standout. A source believes Henderson will choose the Trojans on Wednesday.

Georgia has been getting OWNED in the last week or so. Lost Whitaker to AU, Rogers to UT. What is going on in Athens?

LOL at the Nolie talking smack.

The kid was an Auburn lean all year. He was quoted after he got back from his official to USC that Auburn "still has a slight lead".

Spurrier sold him on being the savior of his home state school, etc. He stayed in state.

So yeah.... we led for him and didn't get him. Jokes on us. Boo hoo. Guess we are stuck with Michael Dyer and Co.
