Try and validate it all you want...but a 17 year old kid trying to call out a championship caliber coach is laughable.Twitter

Now, I know Florida and Alabama offered them as an elaborate joke on me, but they were offered.Comment

I'm pretty sure Lache is just laid back, and was taking it all in. It was spur of the moment, he's a very emotional guy.WUSTLComment

Re: 2010 Recruiting Thread
The degree of "want" for Alabama and Florida concerning Seastrunk and Lattimore isn't much. Florida's backfield is loaded as is Alabama's. Neither of the two would come to UA and not redshirt.
Offering those two as far as Bama is concerned was no more than a kind gesture. As far as I know, we aren't recruiting either with very much effort. Alabama already has 1 RB committed and we're only looking hard at one more, and that's Grant(the in-state prospect who is going to be an Alabama-Auburn battle).Twitter

Now, I'm sure you actually believe that Saban and Irving Meyers were out one day saving small children when they schemed a plan to offer but not recruit the top two running backs in the country simply out of the goodness of their heart.
My guess is that there is a lack of interest. However, I'd bet Logan Young's life that it was on the side of the players.Comment

Re: 2010 Recruiting Thread
I'm sure Saban would like to have the #1 running back in the country. What coach wouldn't? Considering the talent that he has signed, and is going to sign its no big deal. Saban has signed two outstanding classes in a row, and targeted what I think is more important than signing a great back...thats signing quality linemen to play on both sides of the ball.
