So a recruit that you claim we won't get saying something negative about a head coach is setting us up for "an epic failure"?

When I think of epic failure last year's Iron Bowl comes to mind.

I don't recall saying Auburn wouldn't get Seastrunk or Lattimore. In fact, prove where I said it.

You said Auburn would not get a recruit that Florida or Alabama wanted.

Now, I know Florida and Alabama offered them as an elaborate joke on me, but they were offered.

I mean it's not smart for any recruit to say anything about another coach, it just comes off as cocky. If I had never touched a D1 (FBS) field, I wouldn't talk trash about any coach or program, personally.

It's a 17 year old calling out a head coach. It's not really a big deal, it's just important for us because it shows his allegiance towards Auburn is growing.

I'm pretty sure Lache is just laid back, and was taking it all in. It was spur of the moment, he's a very emotional guy.

We shall see. Where would the Auburn fans here expect their class to rank at the end of the day?

We will have a solid class. How is anyone supposed to know how rivals or scout will rank our class?

The degree of "want" for Alabama and Florida concerning Seastrunk and Lattimore isn't much. Florida's backfield is loaded as is Alabama's. Neither of the two would come to UA and not redshirt.

Offering those two as far as Bama is concerned was no more than a kind gesture. As far as I know, we aren't recruiting either with very much effort. Alabama already has 1 RB committed and we're only looking hard at one more, and that's Grant(the in-state prospect who is going to be an Alabama-Auburn battle).

As I said, you will dismiss anyone as "we didn't want him anyway"

Now, I'm sure you actually believe that Saban and Irving Meyers were out one day saving small children when they schemed a plan to offer but not recruit the top two running backs in the country simply out of the goodness of their heart.

My guess is that there is a lack of interest. However, I'd bet Logan Young's life that it was on the side of the players.

I'm sure Saban would like to have the #1 running back in the country. What coach wouldn't? Considering the talent that he has signed, and is going to sign its no big deal. Saban has signed two outstanding classes in a row, and targeted what I think is more important than signing a great back...thats signing quality linemen to play on both sides of the ball. This is a silly discussion.

                                Top 10.

With serious shots at guys like Seastrunk, Lattimore, Dyer, Corey Grant out of Opelika, Eric Mack, Trovon Reed, Jeremy Richardson, Khairi Fortt, LaDarious Owens, etc.

                                Yup...Top 10.
