"I'm still committed to Auburn," said Goodwin. "I don't really know how it got started that I wasn't committed. I guess someone took it the wrong way that I was visiting (Georgia) this weekend."

Goodwin said he has eliminated that possibility. Instead of a scheduled trip to Athens Friday, he will head to the Plains.

"I'm really looking forward to visiting Auburn again," said Goodwin. "My mom is coming with me and we will be there Friday or early Saturday. I'm ready to get back down there and see everybody again.

"I feel great about my Auburn commitment. I feel really good about my future there. My commitment to Auburn is solid. I'm going to sign with Auburn."

Goodwin said Taylor has played a major role in him being comfortable and confident in his pledge to the Tigers.

"I love the system at Auburn and the coaches," he said. "Coach Taylor is a great person and a great coach. He's a big reason I'm going to sign with Auburn."
        In other words...suck it Georgia.

Trooper=Da Man. Between Troop, Luper, and Coach Thig, we have some serious recruiting firepower on this staff.

The kids really relate to them. I mean..how can you NOT want to play for Coach Troop!!

He's one hell of a coach, too. Watching our receivers last year to this year is night and day.

Nebraska loses 2 4 star decommits and then gets 2 4 star commits in the same day.

                    QB Tyler Gabbert decommits
                    WR Curtis Carter decommits

                    OLB Levonte David Commits.
OT Jemarcus Hendricks Commits. Hendricks originally commited to LSU in April.

both players are 3 to play 2

Most "dynamic" recruit in the nation this year. That kid is ridiculously explosive. He'll be a huge KR/PR for the Noles. Sick talent.

Wow between Greg Reid and Lamarcus Joyner it would be safer for opposing teams to kick out of bounds on kickoffs and punts.

                          Re: 2010 Recruiting Thread

Well, according to the AU website gurus, the "Lattimore or Seastrunk?" debate over which 5 star back Auburn is going to land along with Dyer is becoming clearer.

It appears that Lattimore is the guy AU is focusing on. Word is that if Seastrunk comes (and he wants to), Dyer won't. If Dyer comes, then Seastrunk won't. A case of too many horses in the stable so to speak. The AU coaching staff love all 3 backs, but have Dyer rated #1 on their board due to his size and ability to tote the rock 30+ times a game. Seastrunk is extremely explosive but not quite as big and durable. A home run threat for sure anytime he touches the ball, but all 3 backs are big time.

Lattimore appears to have Auburn as his leader and indications are that he'll join Michael Dyer as Auburn Tigers Feb. 3. I'm getting the feeling that Lattimore is the guy Luper was referring to on Birmingham radio when he said Auburn fans will get a big time commitment before Christmas. It looks like it will be Lattimore.

Seastrunk will be a USC Trojan.

I won't complain one bit about any combination of 2 5 star tailbacks coming to AU in the fall.

Luper just said that he 'expected' a big time commit, he didn't really guarantee anything. And Lattimore has said on multiple occasions that he will wait until close to or on signing day.

Don't let his 5'8" size confuse u, he's legit. Surprise he gave his verbal so early, I thought for sure he was going to go to Ohio State.
