Hmm, Bama fans on another board don't seem quite as confident about it. Granted I'm not an expert on his recruitment or anything, but sounded more like a toss up between Bama/SC than a sure thing for either side. Fulton would be a good get considering Bama's depth chart at CB isn't very deep for next year.

Both sides have been equally optimistic and pessimistic. Sounds like Fulton has been genuinely torn and probably "committed" to both coaching staffs at some point. Just a matter of who he commits to publically and then signs with.

Brandon Mosley commits to Auburn. Huge commitment right there, he will enroll in January and count back to last years class.

Another juco lineman, Roszell Gayden is deciding between Auburn, Cal, and OU this afternoon. I will be ecstatic if we get him.


Also, two Auburn commitments, Craig Sanders, and Jessel Curry signed LOI's today and will enroll in January.

Debrale Smiley and Anthony McCloud signed their LOI's for Florida State today. I cannot wait to see Smiley on the field to provide some much needed power running.

3* ATH Verlon Reed committs to the Buckeyes. He's technically a QB, but I list him as an athlete because he's likely to switch to DB in a year or two. He's an insurance policy for Taylor Graham at this point IMO, because Graham has missed significant portions of his junior and senior years due to injury.

This will end up being a top 5 class, but regardless whatever the rank is...this class is sick.


Coleman, Christian, Slade, Moseley, and Gayden...that's a great looking group of OL. Possibly could add Eric Mack and/or James Stone to that group.

LB is loaded with White, Owens, Curry, and Holland.

Defensive Line is the other big battleground left in this class....we need to close on Jeffrey Whitaker and Marcus Thornton and/or Bryan Jones...all 4 star DTs. 2 out of 3 of these would be perfect.

Coaching staff is still confident we get one of Lattimore/Seastrunk to go with Dyer.

WR is loaded.

The top rated kicker in the nation....one of the best punters. Very nice job Chizik. Let's close this sucker strong.

I'm excited.

Get to see a bunch of these studs in the Under Armor All American game in St. Petersburg the day after the Outback Bowl.

You'll be on the wrong side of the state if you're going there instead of St. Petersburg for the game.

It's not illegal, it just doesn't really speak highly of the character of your recruits when they pose with guns and money.

From the looks of it he was walking around at night with a gun, showing it off. That normally doesn't lead to anything good.

While I don't necessarily disagree, it bothers me that we have people "assessing" teenagers character and denigrating them all based on pictures/stories.

I am sure I could find plenty of pictures/stories on anyone here at OS and say the same thing. I don't say this because he's a UF recruit, but because as I've started looking at recruiting more it bothers me to see "fans" acting like children over these recruits. They're kids...we don't know them...we shouldn't be making judgments on anyone's character. Now, if you showed me a mugshot and a story that showed the kid was a criminal, I could buy off on the fact that maybe his character needs work. At this point, no dice.

One would think that with all the off the field problems you guys have had that Florida fans would be a little worried about this kind of stuff.
