Re: Will teams start copying Ga. Tech & Navy
For a second I thought he was saying Ga. Tech beat Miami, Va. Tech, Clemson, and UNC.
Miami isn't who we thought they were. Improved yes. Return to glory FSU style no.***My Teams***

GT killed itself with the turnovers. If not for that, GT would have had a field day against LSU."Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."Comment

What? Georgia Tech had two turnovers, granted, but LSU won by THIRTY FIVE points and only gave up 3. That means that Georgia Tech didn't score on 8 of it's possessions and either punted or turned it over on downs...I think LSU stopped the option just fine."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. LSU may have stopped the option, but Georgia couldn't. GT had 45 points and 409 yards rushing in a 45-42 victory over Georgia in last year's regular season finale.Comment

Re: Will teams start copying Ga. Tech & Navy
If I can recall, after GT fumbled, LSU went up 21-3. That forced GT to throw the football. (I think they threw over 30 times that game). When GT ran the base option, they hurt LSU pretty bad. LSU played a pretty bland defense against it."Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. Re: Will teams start copying Ga. Tech & Navy
I checked and they threw it 24 times (a lot for a GT team), but I watched the game last year too and I didn't walk away feeling that Georgia Tech was on even footing with LSU."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. Re: Will teams start copying Ga. Tech & Navy
True, but Georgia was grossly overrated (at least their D wasn't very good) from the start.
I'll be interested to see how their opponent's D plays against them if Tech makes it to the Orange Bowl.Rice Owls - Houston Astros/Dynamo/Rockets/Texans - Arsenal - PSGComment

Georgia's defense was pretty horrid last year. I think they had about half their defense out for the season. They allowed 38+ in half of their SEC games and even made Auburn's offense look solid.Comment

UGA's defense is pathetic and has been for 2 years now. Tech is going to put up atleast 50 on them this coming weekend.Twitter
