the "shed" is bigger than some garages, and that "closet" is actually a press conference rooms where visiting teams coaches do their post-game interviews and such. in both situations, there were 1 or more trainers there to monitor Adam. I agree Leach should have done something else, he should not have even recruited Adam to begin with. he was known to have issues. according to Leach's lawyer though, there was never any offer to make an apology, or any letter to sign to make it better, etc.. it's pretty much a he said/he said situation.

the administration and Leach have been going at it for years, they just used this as a means to get rid of him.

In this day and age Leach shouldn't have done it. Things like that get you fired - whether some think it's right or wrong. The fact that it was a claimed concussion only amplified the issue.

People seem to want to make it like they chained the kid up and put him in a dark dungeon - which obviously wasn't the case.

Tech admin wanted him gone anyways and saw the writing on the wall - or the $800,000 due Leach in a few days - and just accelerated the removal process.

Whether it was today or 2 months from now, Leach was a dead man walking.

As for James, there is little doubt in my mind that the kid was everything everyone has said he is - a lazy, entitled, whiner w/ a famous father. There are plenty of them out there - I'm sure most of us have had the pleasure of dealing w/ the kid or the parent - especially if you're involved in sports.

The story just accelerated so quickly because it is James and ESPN. ESPN should be embarrassed w/ it's pro-James/anti-Leach coverage though. It's disgustingly biased if you've been watching TV all day and the interviews.

Hopefully, Analyst James catches some fall-out for this.

I have a feeling a lot more people do now too because of this. I don't know how Adam can ever go back to Texas Tech after this drama.

Usually, when a D-1 football player is facing a possible transfer I want them to come to Texas State.

I guess the James family house phone and cell numbers for Craig and Adam are out on the internet. I read that someone texted Craig saying I know you took the money. Craigh asked who it was and whoever texted said a booster from SMU. LOL>
