**** Adam James and his soft Dad. They are both losers.

A kid acting like that doesn't deserve to be playing big-boy football. Karma will bite these clowns in the ***.

I am not particularly a Mike Leach fan, but there is no question that he took the Tech program about as far as it can go.

He developed an offensive system that enabled Tech to compete with top tier teams with inferior talent.

Having said that, it certainly would appear as though Tech will again slide back to being a mediocre program at best.

I think the big thing with Leach that isn't necessarily appreciated is that he took them to this level of being the #3 Big XII program while Texas and Oklahoma were both top 5-10 programs. It's not like he did it in a 2000s ACC or 2007-2009 Big 10 where there aren't any top teams.

          Re: Mike Leach fired

I think Leach would be best as an offensive coordinator. I doubt he will be able to land a gig as a head coach at a big time program. That being said, I think he could be a very successful coordinator at a big time program.

I would love for Leach to come back to OU. We need to put some of our players in the woodshed.

It such BS that he got fired. Leach was just being Leach. I don't think he is a naturally mean or hateful person ala Mangino. It was Leach's way of being a smart @$$. I also like how he pretty much told Tech to take the apology and shove it up their you know what.

He would rather walk the plank than make a fake apology.

Mark May and Craig James must be great friends. May sure has sounded like he has an axe to grind on ESPN.

                  That's ridiculous.

He won't be coaching at a top 15-20 program, but he could take his pick of the bottom 35-40 BCS teams and any mid major next year.

I hope Leach destroys them in court. After winning, he show go coach at a small school that needs some help for $1. Then make TT pay him the rest of his salary.

Re: Mike Leach suspended from Alamo Bowl

You just know Leach's dream is to go up to the Chancellor on a giant alter supported by pillars during sunset, dimly lit by low fires, put on a pirate hat, yell "EABOD" and stick his sword in a Texas Tech flag, sliding down it Peter Pan style into a pirate ship, set to live his life is various saloons in the Caribbean, pursuing sins of the flesh and telling everybody he isn't related to Ron White. They don't beleive him, they never do, and they ask for stories about Ron. Leach only really knows one, and it's the squirrel boy story and everybodies heard that one so everybodies disappoint, even Leach because he made no new freinds. So he goes back to drinking with his pirate buddies.

If Leach gets another head coaching job it will probably be in the WAC, MAC, or some other midmajor.

You don't think Leach could be the offensive coordinator at a BCS school? He was already a successful coordinator at Oklahoma.

I don't see Leach taking over playcalling duties at a school like Florida, USC, Texas, etc. but I could definitely see him landing a job at a school like Arizona State or something.

Leach would be a great offensive coordinator at a BCS school, just as Tuberville would be a good defensive coordinator and if for some reason Richt were to have gotten fired last month he'd have been a good offensive coordinator.

However, once you've been successful at a BCS school as a head coach, especially if you're as young as Leach, you don't be a coordinator. He'll be a head coach for a BCS program in 2011.

ESPN must have given some kind of directive to their on-air talent; these two morning dudes are GOING IN on Mike Leach. This is starting to turn into Mike Leach vs. the worldwide leader.

I noticed that as well. This just confirms to me that Leach is innocent.
