Whenever I am not sure how to spell a word, I usually Google it. That being Said, Do you honestly think it is OK for a person to be sequestered in a Electric shed after sustaining a concussion? My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

Re: Mike Leach suspended from Alamo Bowl
The player's side:
Leach had until Monday to write an apology and when he did not, the university felt it had to take action.
“This was not taken lightly,” the source said, adding that Leach did not show any signs of remorse or did not say he wouldn’t do it again.
The player suffered a concussion at practice on Dec. 16 and Leach thought the player was faking.
The next day at practice, the player was ordered to stand in a shed. Leach had him watched and when he sat down, Leach had things removed from the shed so he could not sit down.
Two days later, Leach had the player stand in a dark room for three hours.
During the university’s initial investigation, Leach said the player was a slacker and his father was always calling and acting like a Little League dad.

Leach's side:
An attorney for Leach said that while James was secluded twice, the circumstances were not as portrayed in that account.
Ted Liggett, Leach's attorney, said James "was placed in an equipment room as it was much cooler and darker" than the practice field "after a doctor had examined him and returned him to the field."
Liggett said that on that day, a trainer was posted outside the room and that James was provided ice. Liggett said that James was secluded for one to two hours. Liggett said that on another occassion, James was placed in a "press room with air conditioning and a stationary bike he coud use."
Liggett also said Leach placed James in those environments was because "Mike tries to keep the players that are unable to practice as close as he can."
Liggett said he will "soon begin" legal steps to overturn Texas Tech's suspension and allow Leach to coach the Alamo Bowl.Texas Longhorns

Re: Mike Leach suspended from Alamo Bowl
College football is goin to crap. Everyone has to be pc. Too many lawyers and cry babies. It sometimes takes a mean sob to get points across. You think Nick Saban isn't an *******? He is one and he's a damn good coach because of it. Lots of coaches are like this. They're being neutered (sp) in todays game, its ruining the game imo.
Leach, Leavitt, Mangino, they're all okay in my book but maybe I'm just old school.Comment
