The Big 12 actually has three good defenses.

Nebraska
Texas
Oklahoma

But yeah, Tech doesn't really run the ball. It has actually cost Leach a few games. See Houston earlier in the year.

Nebraska had a bad defense last year and Texas and Oklahoma could be considered serviceable at best.

This year Nebraska's defense is great and Texas' at least looks good, but there was nothing good about them last year.

Name some defenses that are better than the three I mentioned. Alabama, Florida.....who else?

OU sucks but it's not because of their defense. We will have quite a few players drafted.

Just about anyone was better than Nebraska.

They gave up 62 to Oklahoma, 52 to Missouri, 37 to Texas Tech, 35 to Kansas, 35 to VTech, and 31 to Colorado.

Oklahoma gave up 20+ in 10 of their games.

Texas was the best of the bunch but gave up 30+ 3 times and let OSU drop 20something.

Those weren't good defenses. Oklahoma played a good game against Florida, but that constituted about 85% of the defense played in the Big XII last year.

I can't stand ESPN. Of course they show the comments from the player who hated Leach. Probably a punk like James. He said "the stress was gone this week at practice because he's (Leach) gone"

So basically this idiot is proud of the fact that he got to loaf this week because Leach wasn't there to straighten him out.

Utterly absurd that a school would fire it's winningest head coach over one unproven allegation from one single student. There has to be more to the story than what we are hearing. Perhaps the AD has a personal beef with Leach? The school looks seriously stupid IMO on this. The polls i've seen so far support my opinion as well.

LSU wasn't all that good this year, but advocating Leachism is a pretty stupid move. His two best teams have been blown out by Old Mississippi and shut down by Alabama.

That means nothing they played Tulane, La Tech and company and cant run the ball. And physically had one of the best O-lines in the nation. Which is a sign of poor coaching and which is why I rather take Leach over Miles.

most of the Tech administration has a personal beef with Leach. they used the first sign of "trouble" as a means to get rid of him.
