Wow... Wonder how many schools are putting Leach and his attorney/agent on speed dial right now. At this point, I wouldn't mind him in Chapel Hill if we had a job opening.

I'm sure a lot of coaches do far worse than what's put out in public. The players responded well to the guy and respected him. He also has made Texas Tech a scary team to face each year with that offense.

If I was any part of the James Clan I would stay the hell away from Lubbock for the rest of my years.

Just curious, what HC jobs are available right now? I bet some teams *Cincy, Kansas* wish they waited just a little longer now...

Who's coaching Cincy? I know Leach would have relished coaching KU just for the chance to hang 80+ on Texas Tech every year.

Crazy. So I guess now coaches aren't allowed to discipline players without mommy and daddy's approval. I think these kids don't get the fact that being an athlete takes hard work and discipline. I'm not even an athlete and I get that fact.

Honestly, every ACC team aside from VTech, Miami, FSU, and UNC need to be giving serious consideration.

However, I think he'll probably sit out a year since I don't think there are any open BCS jobs. He would have been perfect for UMD since, while we'd still be very average for the most part, there'd at least be a reason to go to the games.

Butch Jones from Central Michigan is the coach of Cincy. I'm pretty sure they would have loved having Leach's offense there. I wonder if he would take an OC job for a year or if he will just sit out a year.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

If he kept Kevin Steele around it would be scary how good Clemson could be if Mike Leach went there.

Has Fisher said he is remaining the OC or appointed Coley to it? If so I haven't seen that. If not with Fisher becoming the HBC, the OC slot is open and FSU should break the bank for a year to have him as the OC knowing he's gone in 2011. For Leach he'd get to know Florida better, for FSU they bring in a genius for Fisher to learn from.

I know FSU is too cheap to spend the money and Leach's ego is too big to be an OC, but I can dream. I actually said I'd rather have had Mike Leach at FSU over Fisher if FSU hired an established HBC. I standby that now too.

Fisher seems to be much more of a stable coach for a good program, while Leach is more of a bat**** crazy guy who'd be great for a decent program, but shouldn't be touched by the top 15-20 programs, especially ones that may even one day considering scheduling a decent OoC schedule.
