Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
FSU picks up a major commitment for 2012 in RB Mario Pender. I'd project him as a high 4 to 5* recruit as he is touted to be the best Floridian RB in 2012 which usually coincides with that rating. In 6 games this season he has 1,368 rushing yards and 21 TDs.
From what I've been hearing most experts expect FSU's 2012 class to be insanely good. No doubt Fisher built a staff who can recruit their tails off, I just hope that the commitment sticks and he develops.Comment

In other news, 3* WR Eli Rogers is no longer a Miami commitment. He doesn't have a real impressive offer sheet but looks like a nice Return Specialist.Comment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
First commitment for the Badgers after the OSU game is 3 star Trayion Durham from Cincinnati. Huge weekend for the Badgers that included visits from Brissett, O'Leary, and Maggitt from Dwyer, 4 star Iowa commit Melvin Gordon, Derek Watt (JJ's younger brother, Northwestern commit), Durham, Ray Ball out of Ohio, committed FL defensive back prospects Makinton Dorleant and Terrance Floyd, and top 5 2012 basketball recruit JP Tokoto.Last edited by dharrisfan2003; 10-18-2010, 02:18 PM.Comment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
Brassell now says he's back firm with his commitment. It's been a crazy 24 hours for the kid, which has been well-documented by both the MSU and Ole Miss Scout.com sites. South Panola, one of the top programs in America, is right down the road from Oxford. It's been an Ole Miss pipeline for years. Batesville is an Ole Miss town. So for a great South Panola player like Brassell to pick MSU... well, the locals aren't happy.
He'll be under a tremendous amount of pressure from now until signing day. I hope he hangs in there and does what he wants to do. My hat is really off to him if he signs with State, and I don't just say that because I'm an MSU fan. Either way, it's great to see Mullen and his staff break through at a place like South Panola. They're really riding the momentum of the win streak/Florida win/top-25 ranking right now.Comment
