Things look very good for the Vols with DeAnthony Arnett. Allen Trieu, Scout's Midwest Recruiting Manager, interviewed Arnett yesterday after his visit to USC. Trieu says the Vols are the team to beat. He should be announcing November 11th

That's true, but what about the other programs with #1 or highly ranked recruiting classes that still can't win. Notre Dame, Florida State, UCLA, etc... My point is that world class coaching is more important than world class (rated) players.

Five-star Under Armour All-American defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (Rock Hill, S.C./South Pointe) has made a switch to his list.

The 6-foot-6, 240-pound prospect has added Miami-FL and eliminated LSU from contention, according to the Post and Courier.

South Carolina, Alabama, Florida State and Ohio State are also under consideration for official visits.

It is believed that the Gamecocks and Crimson Tide are out in front for his signature.

Really don't see a reason for this when everyone knows he's going to USC.

Few of the top Florida recruits that i've seen play over the past 2 years TE Nick O'leary, DE/OLB Curt Maggitt, and QB Jacoby Brissett are going to visit LSU this weekend all 3 have LSU high on their list. While I doubt we get O'leary any one of these 3 would be a nice addition to our recruting class

Dee is going nowhere, he will be here in January. TomVH from MGoBlog spoke with his mom and the hold up was an enrollment issue (which I find odd cause Dr. Phillips is not a bad school at all) but it's been cleared up and he will be here she says.

Michigan has also offered 4* DB Blake Countess. Lord knows we need that commitment badly.

The major caveat is that he'll most likely be here...if RR is. And that's far, farrrrr from a sure thing at this point.

And it's about damn time with the Countess offer. Mike Farrell tweeted earlier that UM may be his leader now.

Yeah, after I posted it I thought I should have added if RR is here, but was too lazy to edit it lol

O'Leary and Brissett are likely FSU bound, Maggitt is likely UF bound.

Anybody hear anything about Farmer, Lee, Gibson, and Blackmon's visits to Eugene today? I'm hoping they land there as opposed to SC.

Florida has lost former 5* DT Dominique Easley from their program (haven't seen the details). IIRC Oregon was his number two choice last year but he will be back on the market. He now joins Torrey Davis and Gary Brown as 5* DTs who left the program after less than 2 years. Last week Florida also lost 4* S Jonathan Dowling from the program as well (I believe he was dismissed from the team, no details).

Easley was left home when the team went to Vandy...he's had a lot of issues in his short time at Florida and Meyer has had enough and he basically said Easley wasn't apart of the team because of disciplinary reasons.

Remember, this is the kid who called himself 'the Lebron James' of the class on media day. He has not been able to get on the field and has complained about having to play special teams. He's not as good right now as expected and he can't handle it...it sounds like he wants to go to Oregon, but I don't know if they will touch him. Needless to say, I don't think the Gators will miss him.

                          Easley isn't "gone".

Discussing Saturday that freshman defensive tackle Dominique Easley was basically in the coaching staff’s doghouse and did not travel with the team to Vanderbilt, Meyer said Monday that he is still with the team but “has got to do things we ask him to do” in order to get back involved. He is confident that everything will be worked out in the end.
And Dowling was released do to repeated issues with missing classes and failed drug tests.

This was like a week ago, but LB Connor Crowell chose OSU over Penn State.

He is set to announce on Wednesday November 10th at 7:00 pm est. I am just guessing that he ends up a Vol or a Golden Bear.

Lol Arnett is clowning everybody now. He's posted videos on Twitter of him "committing" to USC and Michigan now. Hilarious to watch Michigan boards following his every move, completely oblivious to the fact that he's just messing around at this point.
