Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
Almost embarrassed to be a Michigan fan right now as Anthony Zettel commits to Penn State. What an unbelievable failure on every level by every person even remotely associated with recruiting in Ann Arbor. From Brandon to Rodriguez to every assistant and recruiting coordinator. How amateurish.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

He is one big dude. Gotta wonder if he's a mike or a jack. I don't know how well he is at pass rush, but 6'4 245 reminds me of a certain linebacker..Twitter

I'm pretty sure he will join Clinton-Dix at Bama. I'm not saying "Bama lock" but I'd honestly be surprised if he's not wearing Crimson next year.PS: You guys are great.

Under Armour Practice Notes
Clowney and Kouandjio finally met and their long-anticipated one-on-one battle was a tie. Clowney started with a speed move that froze Kouandjio, but the 6-foot-7, 325-pounder was ready on the next two encounters and put up a solid fight against the top player in the nation.
"You know I had to take it easy on him a little," Clowney joked. "He's a great competitor and a big man. He's in this game so you know he's got to be good."PS: You guys are great.

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
Just came out today, he's dropped Michigan and will decide between Alabama and Auburn at the Army Bowl.
Sucks to lose him, but really, it doesn't matter. The overall health of the program is infinitely more important than one recruit, no matter how good that recruit is. Just another scholarship for the new coach to use. Good luck, Dee.Comment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Thread
I really don't care about it anymore. If Fitz can stay healthy (I know, too much to ask of him right now), they have him and Hayes coming in to fit that role say Hoke does become the coach (or if by some stroke of luck, RR keeps his job for some reason), and you have Cox and Hopkins if the favorite son comes home. Doesn't hurt as much as it seems.
Dallas Crawford said he is likely to come no matter who is the coach, and having him on board means more to me than having Dee.Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Michigan
