LSU, do NOT blow this one. Win it and make the Alabama/LSU game decide the West winner for the umpteenth time this decade.

Also, if you could win it by some sort of fluke play that would great.

Even if LSU wins the Alabama vs. LSU will not necessarily decide the SEC West.

        Yeah it will.

LSU could basically clinch the West with wins over UA and AU. Both Arkansas and Ole Miss would have to beat LSU while Auburn has to win out.

Alabama would be 5-1 in the SEC with 2 home games remaining(where we've won 18 in a row) if they won.

It was only a matter of time until Husker somehow managed to get Alabama mentioned in an Auburn LSU game thread.

I think we win 35-20. Yeah..we haven't faced a defense as good as LSU. But LSU hasn't faced an offense even close to Auburn either. We'll outscore them. (Assuming we don't turn the ball over 10 times and Cam doesn't get a lead pipe to his knee)

Somehow managed to get them in a thread about the division they currently own? LOL. You're so jealous it's ridiculous. Like you won't be mentioning Auburn in the Alabama/LSU game thread.

If by "upteenth" you mean first, then sure.

              Yeah it will.

              No it wouldn't.

It's relatively rare that one game decides the division. The only times it's happened that I know of are 2007 and 2004 between Auburn and LSU, 2003 between LSU and Mississippi.

Assuming LSU beat Auburn and lost to Alabama, LSU could still win the West.

Then again, Arkansas and Alabama already decided the West.

Somehow managed to get them in a thread about the division they currently own? LOL. You're so jealous it's ridiculous.
The old Massnole tactic. Mention a team that has no place in the conversation and then claim everyone is jealous when they don't want to talk about them.

Back on topic (ironic from me I know), I'm taking Auburn in this game. I think their D-Line is highly underrated and I think they will keep Ridley contained well enough to let their offense do the heavy lifting needed to get the W.

I guess since Auburn and LSU are the only ones in the SEC West this season, we'll ban the usage of any mention of any other teams in this thread.

Like I said before the Auburn crew got in a tizzy, go LSU. Win it and set up the next chapter.

Ok..seriously about to leave the house now but I wanted to go ahead and get this in so I can possibly look like the greatest prognosticator ever (or get laughed at, either way).

Like I said, I'm taking the Good Guys 35-20.

I believe LSU and Chavis will play man to man and run blitz the hell out of us to try and force Cam to get rid of the football. Cam has been spectacular against the blitz. Also, as good as the LSU DBs are...T-Zac and Darvin will win some of those 1 on 1 matchups for big plays in the passing game.

But I expect two Auburn players to have huge days...RB Mario Fannin catching passes out of the backfield and TE Phillip Lutzenkirchen. Both of these guys will be matched up on LBs and Safeties and I expect both of them to come up with some huge plays in the passing game.

I also expect a big return on kickoffs, either from O Mac or Demond.

LSU's running game can be neutralized by what is a very good AU front seven against the run. Regardless of our weaknesses in the secondary, LSU is not Arkansas and probably won't be able to take advantage of our pass defense as much.

So that's how I see it. We outscore them.

This isn't "SEC West Discussion"; it's Auburn vs LSU.

It says so right in the title.

Stregtht against strength (Auburn's Offense against LSU's D)

                            and

Weakness against weakness (Auburn D vs. LSU's Offense)

IMO, which ever teams "weakness" comes through is the team that wins the game.

Personally, I hope they both lose.
