I think the best way to "shut down" Auburn is to not blitz at all and force Newton to beat you with his arm. Considering that Newton appears to be pretty awesome at avoiding pressure, once he gets out in the open field against a bunch of defensive backs its pretty much a guaranteed 20+ yards.

I have absolutely no idea what to expect from this game. It could be a 10-7 game or a 45-38 one. Hopefully the right team comes out on top

This game I expect to be like many auburn-lsu games and keep me on the edge of my seat. It will be a tough game, but it being at home should help auburn.

I've been saying since before the beginning of the season, I don't see a game on our schedule where we won't have a good chance to win. I still feel that way and I'm looking forward to seeing this game. I know the Arkansas game was big, but we can't get ahead of ourselves and we have to take care of business this week. A win here and we take control of the West.

LSU's defenders don't want any piece of Cam Newton. This Mathieu guy included.

This is a linebacker that he destroys this past weekend.

I was waaaaaay more nervous about Arkansas than this game. I just like they way we match up vs LSU. I think we should handle them easy. That being said, I could also see this being an absolutely bat-s*** crazy game were it comes down to some freak plays and the refs.

LSU's luck should keep them in the game. Auburn will probably lost their three best players in the first half, still stay in the game, then LSU will win on a 65 yard pass interference on the last second hail mary.

Les Miles has clearly made a deal with the Devil this year.

And you can't beat the Devil. Unless it's a fiddle contest.

Can't fight the supernatural, Auburn. Sorry.

                  This.

To me despite Auburns's poor defense. LSU's offense just looks inept. I would not be surprised if Auburn keeps them under 21.

LSU's offense is abysmal and no way do they completely shut out Cam. I think this game will be more low scoring than people expect.

If somehow the game is close at the end there is 99.9% chance that Les Miles' team will win.

We'll see...Mathieu is a bad, bad 18 year old. If it all goes according to plan, he won't touch Newton, but like I said, Newton's going to break one.

It will be like Tebow (DRINK!)-Spikes last year where the collision will spark a black hole somewhere in the universe.

The one thing Auburn's defense can't do is the same thing LSU can't do.

As an outsider all I want to see is a few highlight plays from Newton and a bonehead decision or 2 by Les.

I don't think LSU is worthy of that ranking at all.

The Mad Hatter pulls one out of his *** again as LSU scores 22 points in the final two minutes. The final touchdown is scored on a broken play when Jordan Jefferson (or Jarrett Lee) lobs up a 50 yard Hail Mary, which is brought in by RJ10. He breaks four tackles, laterals the ball four times, and scores.

On the extra point, the snap goes over the holder's head, but the kicker picks up the football and breaks several tackles as he rumbles into the end zone like a fullback to give LSU a one-point win.

Surely, something like that will happen?
