            Those are pretty damn funny.


            That being said, it's already become a non story on ESPN and their ticker just reported that AU had "absolutely no contact with Rogers". As our school, coaching staff, and compliance office have known since July.


            All that comes out of this is some snide comments by rival fans and an angry Auburn squad that is gonna take out their anger on Georgia and Bammer.

                            Wow...just listened to this. Prior to this I had no idea who Jeff Lee is/was. After listening to this I am not impressed at all. He sounds like a complete homer calling into a call in show...he didn't even sound completely in the loop on the story.

                                I was worried about it some last night, but at this point it appears pretty comical. CFN, ESPN, and a few others have already retracted their original stories.

                                Yet another item in the list of crazy accusations the NYT has thrown at Auburn that are shown to be nothing. First it was our team chaplain paying players, then the easy classes, and now Mistake was offered $200,000 for a QB.

                                Now the only source for the allegations admits that he heard it third hand that Rogers was offering Newton for money and Rogers is denying it. Great job NYT.

                                            It has been said by John Bond on a Atlanta radio station today that he hasn't spoke to Kenny Rogers in person in over 20 years. He got the info that Rogers wanted $180,000 from 2 people removed. Then on ESPN Dallas a moment ago Rogers was on an interview and stated that he hasn't spoken to Bond in over 20 years also. HE corroborated Bond's interview earlier.
