This is great. He should be one of the highest-ranked QBs in the region (if not the country, too early to tell) come his senior year. Plus with the line of starter at QB now having the looks of going Denard-Devin-Shane, it isn't a priority to get someone like Gunner Kiel now.

4* LB Noor Davis picks Stanford

Lady Lake, Fla., outside linebacker Noor Davis announced in The Villages' cafeteria that he has given his verbal commitment to Stanford over the remaining finalists - Alabama, Florida, Notre Dame, and USC.
Justin Wells of GatorBait.net (247Sports Florida team site) was covering the event live and informed BlueandGold.com of Davis' choice.
The 6-4, 225-pound player looked to have the Gators and the Irish leading for his services since landing offers from both programs, but he opted to stay head out West where much of his family still resides.
Davis, who recorded 101 tackles, 7.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, five pass deflections, one safety and two defensive touchdowns in his junior season, initially planned on taking his official visits and announcing a decision at the 2012 Under Armour All-American Bowl, but decided to give his pledge much sooner.
He's ranked as a four-star recruit, the nation's No. 1 outside linebacker, the No. 6 player in Florida and the No. 34 overall prospect in the country.Comment

Re: 2012 Recruiting Thread
^^^ Yep. I wish Noor Davis was in Gator Orange and Blue. He looks like a rock solid athlete that zeros in and crushes kids.
Good for Stanford though. He sounds like a great kid with a bright future."Hard work beats talent, when talent isn't working hard.”Comment

Re: 2012 Recruiting Thread
Cass Tech CB Terry Richardson will be annoucing tommorow from his HS locker room at 11:45am. He has two good friends by the names of James Ross and Royce Jenkins-Stone already committed to Michigan. Michigan has re-established or strengthened its Cass Tech relationship as this could be Michigan's 12th commit.
Im sure he's a Michigan man but just for name's sake his top five is Michigan, USC, Alabama, LSU, Notre Dame.

Re: 2012 Recruiting Thread
Wormley isn't going to focus on recruiting until after track is over, it's a lot of smoke around Kiel so who knows, and Aaron still has to qualify, so don't expect anything from him until around June-July after the next ACT (and even then, he still has to get the grades up).Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Michigan
