I will spell this out as clear as I can, the SEC does not want FSU, they add nothing as far as TV sets go. If the BIG12 was a better option they would have went when they had the chance, and going to any other conference would mean ridiculous travel costs.

That post reeks of arrogance, Massnole, is that you? you make it sound like FSU is competing for National Titles every year(it's been a decade since they were even in the picture)!

Re: Conference Re-Alignment Thread Part Who Knows
"A University of Houston spokesperson said radio report out of Florida concerning UH being in talks with the Big 12 is inaccurate."
Well...nuts. Berman is the absolute gold standard for sports journalism here in Houston. If he says there's nothing to this, you can take that to the bank.Comment

There are much better ways for politicians to measure each other. Seems that bevo can't seem to let by-gones be by-gones.Rangers - Cowboys - Aggies - Stars - Mavericks

Re: Conference Re-Alignment Thread Part Who Knows
The idea behind picking up Houston would be that it would gain favor with the UH alumni in the government and prevent Perry from doing anymore of whatever he's already done that has UT all riled up.Last edited by gordogg24p; 05-15-2013, 08:24 PM.NCAA: Air Force, Colorado State, Texas
