Re: 2012 Fiesta Bowl, #3 Oklahoma State (11-1) vs. #4 Stanford (11-1)
Oregon just locked up a Rose Bowl win and Stanford could have easily just won the Fiesta Bowl. Oregon also competed for the NC last year and the Rose Bowl the year before that..
The PAC-12 will be better, with USC being eligible again next year, but they've been competing on the national stage..
edit: Forgot to mention Stanford's 2010 Campaign too..Last edited by AUChase; 01-03-2012, 12:43 AM.Comment

In OT after a layoff and some short fields. . They also held OSU to 150 yards below their season average, and 13 rush yards on 15 attempts.Comment

Pretty underwhelming bowl season for a conference that was pretty underwhelming this year.Comment

I agree.
With that said, the second best team in the Pac-12 should have beaten our champion. I think it's hilarious that some of these morons are ripping the Pac-12.
Oregon and Stanford are top 5 teams and the third best team (USC) didn't even go bowling this season. I would say the top 3 of the Pac-12 is as good as anyone. Then there is a drop off.
Why is the SEC so great when they are a two team league? I mean, Bama has only beaten three teams with a winning record all year.
There is a reason that the Pac-12 gave up some points this bowl season. They actually played teams with offenses.

They do have the fancy new best facilities in the Pac-12, and like you said, they are recruiting something fierce. But yeah, Tedford.Comment
