      Just using your logic.
      No.

To me there is a difference in losing a conference game on the road in a tough spot and then just pissing down your leg AT HOME in the biggest game of your season.

In Oklahoma State's biggest game of the year, they beat a top 15 team by 40. In Bama's biggest game of the year, a game they had two weeks to prepare for, they pissed down their leg, only scored 3 points, and lost at home.

Either way, that is only one reason. There are a number of other reason why OSU should play for it over Bama which we have already discussed. OSU' arguments revolves around winning the best league, beating a ton of ranked teams, ect. Bama's argument revolves around a loss.

This is nothing against Bama either. The system isn't their fault.

Just realized Luck was 27/31 passing in the game. A bit surprised Shaw didn't think that with a performance like that Luck wasn't the best option to seal things.

Playing not to lose, never works out. I don't know why that lesson still hasn't been learned.

There was definitely some funny business. OSU should not have been lower than 3rd on any ballot. I'll give Shaw a pass since he was voting his own team and I'm pretty sure put OSU 4th, but 5th and 6th? Does anyone really believe OSU is the 5th best team in country? They were inches from a MNC appearance and now they're some how worse than Houston? (George Wine voted Houston 5th and OSU 6th in the Harris. He should lose his ballot after that)

The sad thing is, the BCS does miss out on the fantastic oppurtunity of a playoff. If it were 4 teams, you'd have Oklahoma State vs the winner of LSU/Bama, which would be a great game. It just sucks that we're arguing whether a team was deserving or not when it could be solved with a simple system, instead of what we have now.

I could see Stanford and OSU swapped on some ballots. But like you said 5th and 6th, especially with some of the teams on those ballots ahead of them. Regional voting and backroom deals allowed Alabama to slip in to a game they shouldn't have been in.

Andrew Luck goes 87% completion percentage and they still lose the game. QBR was 196.0. That's complete bull if you ask me.

It would've been Stanford/LSU and Bama/Okie St. in a 4 team playoff. Maybe one day.

Who wouldn't want to see OSU's offense face off against LSU's defense?

Or seen Andrew Luck and that pro style power run offense face off against LSU's defense?

I think LSU beats both team, they're just too deep on defense, but I'd sure like to have seen those matchups.

Instead we get a repeat of the last snoozer.

Weird what happens when the other team scores more points.
