    Yes sir, was a Thursday.

And IIRC, Rutgers only won that game because Jeremy Ito got a second chance to try a game winning field goal as Petrino called a timeout. It was mentioned in this year's Phil Steele, I believe.

      That didn't happen!

FML. Now I have to work tomorrow night. The worst thing is that I had a chance to work tomorrow morning and declined since I was planning on being out of town during the day, but now I have to work at night and will miss the OU game. I'm an idiot.

I guess I'm never going to be able to watch a football game again. I don't have a DVR and I don't think I have any way to record with VHS tapes anymore, so I'll just miss it. Again.

EDIT: Nevermind. Looks like I was able to dig up on old VHS tape and will be recording the game on there. Ironically, while looking for a VHS tape, I came across my recording of the 2008 Fiesta Bowl with WVU vs. OU. The quality will be awful, but it will have to do.

            Re: Week 4 Discussion

This UCONN/USF game is kind of sad. Two teams that were actually kind of relevant (at least in conference) not that long ago (for a short time, but alas), but lost their coaches (for different reasons) and now are toilet-worthy. Worst of all, they are now back in a terrible conference with WVU and UL gone and UC and maybe UCF being the only teams of note, but they can't take advantage because they're worse than they've been in years. Now, they're reduced to battling it out on Friday night and sneaking by FCS schools to get their only non-conference win (so far).

UCONN's demise isn't that surprising given Edsall's departure and recruiting being tough up there, but USF is a little more surprising. Maybe Holtz just ran the program into the ground, but you'd have to think they would have been able to take advantage of the Tampa area recruiting hotbed and field a decent team. UC has been able to do that in the Cincinnati area.

Holtz did run the USF program into the ground, I'm afraid. Everything U-turned when Jim Leavitt left. I never saw the appeal in Holtz anyway. Wasn't amazing at East Carolina..

And UConn just doesn't have a QB. Bottom 10 in the country bad. Their tailbacks (McCombs and Delorenzo I think are the two; not really watching) are both solid, and their receiving core is solid. But you can't rely on either without a good QB.

QB's a problem, but offensive line is the real problem. This year and last year are the 2 worst lines I've ever seen. At QB they had a promising starter who just had to retire from concussions, and they have another really talented young QB in Tim Boyle, but they don't think he's ready so they are going with the senior Whitmer who is bad, but has no chance with this line.

I like Diaco but it's going to take him awhile to turn this around, can't make up for 3 years of complete incompetence in every area in one year.

That last sack we had 6 in to block a 3 man rush and he basically came in untouched.

Worst offensive line I've ever seen.

No Jameis Winston vs Clemson. Changes the whole game. Kudoes to Fisher.

Highly doubt it would be the head coach announcing at almost midnight the night before a big game that the best player is suspended for the entire game instead of one half. Reeks of the administration lowering the hammer from above.

Damage control after they were roundly mocked by every single media outlet for the half game suspension.
