Own what? That I cheer for a team for years, and am suddenly a bandwagon fan because of what shows up when I post? Sure, I'll own up to some bull**** opinions of people that don't know me.

BS is laughable, but whatever guy. It would be like me posting up how I'm a bammer fan now. Like I said, you can pull for whoever you want, but it is the very definition of being a front runner.

Again, didn't realize that all the time I spent cheering for Ohio State before this season doesn't count anymore. My apologies. I forgot that the teams in my signature are a concrete absolution to who I cheer for. It's completely unlikely that I've been an Ohio State fan for years, and changed my avatar for Michigan Week, completely unthinkable.

At this point, it's safe to assume that you've only recently become a Tennessee fan.

When there's no geographic logic to your teams, TripleCrown, you open yourself up to this sort of thing. When you change your avi to the Cubs when the Red Sox has been your stated preference, you open yourself up to these things. When you are rocking the OSU avi after being focused on only LSU, you open yourself up to it.

In fact, sometimes you can pinpoint the ~year when a fan started paying attention to sports because fans who didn't grow up with strong hometown favorite teams will have all the champions from that year as their favorite teams. 2006-2007 was a good year for your teams.

No big deal. Nobody's forcing you to like the same team year after year. It's up to you. Some people move around a lot and never develop that connection to "where they're from."

...But you can expect to take good-natured jabs over switching.

Guys I think I've seen the light. I liked the Wolverines when I was younger, and now that I've grown up I can't help but start to like them again. As I understood from Shiz in the OT, I have to go through hazing to be accepted into the group?

Is this calling me a bandwagon fan? If I was gonna be a band-wagoner, there are plenty of other teams I could have picked. I enjoy watching Michigan, is that a crime? My enjoyment started to falter after The Loss, which I'm sure all of you remember just as much as me. So please, just because I proclaim that I am starting to like the Wolverines again, doesn't mean I'm fair weather.

I absolutely think we can. Unfortunately I think it will be firmly on Denard's shoulders because it's the defense that usually stays in the locker room for aOSU.

That's not really new. I see it all the time on here. It means exactly what it is. A Ohio State University or An Ohio State University. Just a friendly play on the THE part of tOSU.

You're posting memes as though they evidence of some grand B1G conspiracy to screw Michigan. Stop. It's a bad look. You sound like one of those people who made death threats to Steve Bartman in 03.

Maybe just look in the mirror and accept that your team did not play a full game's worth of good enough football to win. Wilton Speight is a 50-minute QB. None of his errors were any ref's fault, unless his dad is one.

In 30 years, history will still show the same score. It doesn't need anyone's "respect" to be validated. No one will care how butthurt Jim Harbaugh was or how badly Michigan whips Florida in the Outback Bowl again. If Ohio State goes to the Playoff and wins it all, this game will be a footnote. If they go to the Playoff and lose, it's still a footnote. The immature reaction by Michigan from top to bottom is making this story live far longer than it ought to have.

A bit over the top and unnecessary.
