Saw him play up close while he was in high school. I thought he was a good qb. But far from the 2nd coming of Trevor Lawrence. Reminded me more of Chase Daniel and it didn't help that they both played for the same coach, Todd Dodge. So great at the short and intermediate stuff, but meh on pushing the the ball down the field.

The jury for sure is still out on him. But he's got 6 minutes to get his team back in it.

Clemson has failed to reload at the skill positions recently. Their WR corp is nothing close to what it was during their title years. We all know about the QB play the last couple of years.

They have had a very vanilla offensive scheme for years and just out-talented teams with Watson/Lawrence and their NFL skill players. When they don't have elite QB play nor elite WR play their offenses have been much more mediocre.

Going to be interesting to see if Clemson figures things out this year, but I honestly think the talent level in some key areas is going to really hurt them all year. Will potentially be a fun year in the ACC. Is FSU for real? Is UNC's defense for real? Is Duke as good as they looked tonight? Is NCST going to live up to the hype? Is Miami as improved as they looked in week 1?

The removal of the Coastal may end up leading to pure chaos for the entire conference.

Dabo was never a good X and O coach. He was on the verge of being fired but found some good coordinator hires. They then stuck with him for a long time.

People seem to forget that Dabo wasn't great without them. Now he is in trouble again, he has refused to recruit the portal, and his coaches aren't good enough to make up for his shortcomings.

I think Texas can if they can force Alabama to pass the ball. I think it's a game where Texas has to control the flow of the game and see if Milroe can win the game with his arm
