While you may be right about Tiburon and the 2000 game, wikipedia shows Tiburon as having developed NCAA Football since NCAA Football '98. Of course, wiki could be wrong.

They are on our radar like every year. Though create a sign is probably very very low on the list.
One idea we've bounced around for a create a sign like feature is where a section of a crowd gets a colored sign and they hold them all up at once and it spells something like "Go Team" or whatever the user wants it to say. I think that is cooler than what we did last gen.Comment

I agree on the create a sign, both being low priority and your way being better. But I can't understand the loss of create a school, create a playbook and FCS teams. You already have some of the FCS teams rated for the last gen systems and these things have been missing for two years running, so "time constraints" would seem to not be the issue.
Did someone just decide to leave them out or is there more to it than that?

I would REALLY like to see the Create a playbook feature back in there. This was one of my favorite things when it came out. I loved the fact that this option was in there. I thought it made the game fantastic!! Just a suggestion from a loyal fan!!Comment

Do they upload to your PS3 automatically when they do come out? Is there a site you go to get them???

Yeah.. pretty much. Just like any feature, FCS schools is something we consider adding every year but has to be judged within budget and scope of the game. It hasn't fit into the plans for the last three years. If it was going to be done, I personally would be the designer assigned the task as it is my area of the game.
At the end of the day, we have a game to put out in July. So we can't do everything we want to. It is the same for create a school. We want both of these things, however every year there has been stuff we want more.Comment

Adam, has anyone identified the defense formation bug? Its the same as last year where even when I select 3-4 defense in my coaching strategy, it still comes up 4-3 when I go to my game and I always have to change it. I think you guys list Bama as having a base 4-3 defense as well. I'm not sure if the cpu is just automatically making some teams 4-3 when they should be a 3-4.Comment

The create a playbook was cool, and I miss the create a school. I was wondering about some of the things I was able to do on 08 (ps2) version, verses this years 09 on PS3.
1. QB avoidance
2. Direct a receiver, when the QB is scrambling
3. D-Line moves, like a power rush or swim move while jumping the snap to get around OL. (maybe this is something that will be fixed with Patch #2)???
4. Celebrations, while running into the endzone, I push O and do the same move every time, is that the way its supposed to be. Also the celebrations, the light ones or heavy ones you could do after a big play and/or touchdown. I remember you would push says R2 for square to perform a celebration. And you had different ones for the cheerleaders, players, mascot, fans.
5. Also with the fans, why no more close up of the fans, dancing, leaving the game during a blowout, throwing up signs.....
