Why dont u use teambuilder to start an old league like xfl or usfl and leave the nfl to madden but hell if your buying do what u want

i wasnt ripping the OP for having too much time to waste, i was just wondering why someone would want to take the time to recreate every nfl team when theres a game thats got it all done for you but he has his reasons and thats why teambuilder is in the game so if he wants to do it then more power to him. I just thought it was an odd idea.

I remember using 2k8 to create a modern XFL. That was a load of fun.

Honestly making nfl teams ain't really that good of Idea to me. the 4 years and up theme is what will ruin it. But I plain to make some new uniforms for my Tar heels.

I also believe the NFL thing is a complete waste of time. Think about it for a second, what fun will it be having half the of the league with unauthentic helmets. The limited space for the logo isnt going to be addressed this year and I would imagine teambuilder will not be tweaked for awhile just like when create-a-school first came out. I honestly believe everyone will be disappointed once we load the logos up anyways, awesome idea but if the images are so small then it takes a little fun out of it. Here are teams you wont be able to fully do

Titans (logo stretches outside of the 256 box)
Bengals
Seahawks
Rams
Patroits (the face will fit fine, the tail will not)
Chargers (too low too stretched)
Lions (too stretched)
Panthers (too stretched)
Ravens (too stretched)
Bills (not even close to fitting)
Broncos (too stretched)
Texans (horns will not fit)
Dolphins (tail will not fit)
Cards (too stretched)
Vikings (too stretched)
Eagles (no option)


Yes you can make them fit but they will look terrible all shrinked in size. Like I said awesome idea but teambuilder without the helmet option or resizing or placing logos up or down are going to cause problems. Sure if your logo is the Steelers, then your fine but a lot of us including myself had all sorts of ideas but now everyone has to narrow their options.

Actually, he would be able to do the Rams. The Rams horns are amongst the helmet styles included; I and others saw a glimpse of it on one of the Teambuilder videos.

I will try my best even if I have to try and recreate the logo with Paint Shop. I do not know exactly how it will work so until I get my hands on the game I won't know the details of what will have to be done.

I say go for it, dude. Who cares if the logo isn't quite as big on the helmet as the real thing. Do people actually notice that stuff while playing?

Maybe even go a little further and create fictional unis for your NFL teams.

It is probably categorically true that all gamers waste hundreds to thousands of hours of their lives annually, but this seems a particularly galling way to throw time down the toilet.... Just an opinion though. That's why you pay your money you can do whatever you want...

i think your way off here. let's go through all the teams you mentioned. first we'll start with all the teams you say too stretched for. that is your opinion and that's fine, but for alot of people the logo being a little bit too small won't be an issue. I'm really not sure where you get "won't fit" for any team. with the options available you can make any logo fit it's just a matter of again perhaps being too small. I understand the Bengals, but you could always use their logo on the helmet. Seahawks okay so maybe it won't wrap all the way around but that's not a huge deal if the rest of the uniform looks good. two teams that you're way way off on are the Rams and Eagles. For the Rams have you never heard of a school called Colorado St? In case you're unaware they have the exact same helmet design. For the Eagles I've heard many people say that wings are an available option here. Now I won't truely believe until I see it, but i'm willing to wait and see before writing it off. Bottom is we won't really know how everything looks until the site goes up so until then and unless you have some sort special access to it I think you should keep quiet.

Cory Redding is not an 80 overall. I'm a Lions fan. EVERY person around here thought he was the most overrated player around, because he did absolutely nothing after his one good season.

Amen. His contract might have been the worst Millen decision although there are so many its hard to say.
