Impressions are this game is garbage. I am tired of buying the same game every year with a tweak or 2 on it. I still think that NCAA and Madden were better on Ps2 than they are on the next gen consoles. I will not be buying this game until it looks and feels like a next gen game. peace

Some of you guys can say you saw dramatic differences, and I will say it might be mental, this really is a downer. I couldn't even finished my game it felt so lame. I was so looking forward for NCAA, now I'm like damn this might very well be the first year of a non purchase for the first time ever...WTF EA NCAA DEV TEAM.

I found myself forcing to play it as well rather than wanting to play it and enjoying it. I'm definitely renting first (after the slider patch) and not buying this year.

It's truly sad man, Like I said in another thread I remember when NCAA gained ground over Madden, now this is kinda pathetic.

I really hope we can turn off the action cam. It's so annoying. I also hate the fact that they used the Madden engine this season.

That's pretty much how I'm feeling at the moment. I'm more of a pro guy than college, but nothing about the demo makes me want to run out and buy it. This game needs some fresh blood, period.

I played a few games last night jsut to get the feel of it. There are some nice additions, the player lock, the better CPU AI on D etc and some not so good things, lack of pressure obviously.

The demo is better than I thought. I was all set to be disappointed but it actually was fun, saw some good things, made me want to play a bit more to see how the game would play for longer durations of time.

A word of warning. I went back and read the NCAA 09 Demo thread and the majority of reviews were positive and look how that turned out. Im not saying NCAA 10 will follow the same path, but I see comments from regulars here (AA, J-Unit, ODogg etc) that were having a blast with the demo, and months later, these guys were pretty disappointed.

Hopefully NCAA 10 will be different, but remember, this is a limited glimpse using two powerhouse teams. Lets hope the game out of the box is just as much fun.

Also, maybe one reason for lack of pass rush is the teams we are using. Both are pretty skilled, tough to get too much pressure I would imagine.

Man i hope this years game isn't is bad as everyone is saying, Because I havent played the demo yet but from the sound of it I might not. Now I hear everybody saying its the madden game of last year with a few things different. But come on E.A. is that all we get for hearin you say we'll make it right next year? N ow we did our part and wait tell this year,So is this all we get for waitin and still being loyal fans of this series?.

I am impressed by the demo. It doesn't play nearly as fast or twitchy as it seems in the videos. Reminds me a lot of Madden 09, which is a good thing, imo. The pass rush does need some work, but it's not as bad as I feared it might be. I was completely down on the game this morning and now I'm back on the hype train. Can't wait for the 14th.

EDIT: Just saw that the sliders will be patched. Now I'm REALLY pumped!

I could be wrong, but NCAA is always one year behind Madden...therefor, when Madden 10 is produced, they use Madden 09 engine for NCAA 10...i think.

Overall, i'm impressed w/

SPEED of the game
Passing game
THe D side of the ball...'cept for the LACK of pass rush
It's a demo...so i'll reserve judgment 'till it drops.
definitely an improvement from '09

is the classic cam not in the retail version?

Does anyone kow about this, I dont like the new action camera, it actually made me queasy, and I felt sick to my stomach. If this cant be turned off or if the classic cam isnt in the game, I will not be able to play this.

Well I just played the demo and this game is indeed the weak sauce. I only buy three games a year on average. Those being The Show, NCAA, and Madden. This year i'll only be buying two. Is EA crazy? This game looks so weak, Glass Joe could beat the hell out of it. WEAK SAUCE EA

Actually, the biggest problem with the new camera is I can't see where the ball is going on bombs because it's so zoomed out. I can't adjust to the throw with my receiver if I can't see where the ball's going ...

I played one game last night when I was half sleep but I was definitely into this game. Sam Bradford threw a beautiful over the shoulder pass in the corner of the endzone where the WR got one foot down...I was like WOW! The new animations really make the game for me. I'm not a real picky guy when it comes to games so I will be reserving this today.

Im impressed. I thought it would totally suck but it wasnt that bad. UF playbook is more bad *** than last year. the animations are alot crisper. Heisman is still ridiculous ai wise but nothing sliders wont fix.

My DISLIKES
-No "true pocket" just curved line and little better blocking.
-No PASS RUSH. EA ITS CALLED DEFENSE. I REPEAT DEFENSE

Likes
-Controller vibrates when you feel pressure
-you cant deep ball it.
-you cant run around while coverage breaks down and wait until a wr gets open.
-speed of game is like madden instead of light speed gliding.
-playbook looks deeper.

Overall thought
-This is the game that was suppose to come out last year so right now the public and ea are even. From here on out they need to make this game from scratch and please the public. fix the bugs, get rosters right and fix running animations etc.
