I feel like I'm playing a different game than you guys.

    I like the camera
I can run the ball fine
I've had games where I score 0-3 pts and games where I've put up 24.
    I love player lock
I think the zones work fine
I love all the new animations
The new QB pressure system is great
    The errant passes are awesome

I have issues with oline blocking for me and dline pressure for me but that's about it.

I can't wait for 7-14 to roll around!

I'm gonna enjoy the hell out of this game!

      - I've noticed a balance issue with game planning. On agressive I'm getting 3-4 fumbles a game and 0-2 penalties. Haven't really noticed any benefits of putting it on balanced or conservative.
JTS is a negative couter (Risk/Reward) to the aggressive game planning with the DL. You have the benefit of a more aggressive DL to put pressure on opposing QB and possibly get more sacks, but the risk is you may get more offsides/encroachment penalties.

I agree, after seeing the E3 vids the demo has been a pleasant surprise in my eyes. maybe its b/c I played the heck out of last yrs but I am not having issues w/ robo QB or lack of pass rush etc. There are issues but this game is fun. Im running the ball well waiting for my blocks to mature and mixing up tosses, sweeps and dives.

Stew...have you tried using the engage manuevers before getting locked up by the OL? I did this a couple of times just now and it seemed to work. Could be a fluke, but at least give it a try.

And I agree with everything you said except I'm still trying to get used to the new camera. I liked the old one better, but I'll get accustomed to this one shortly.

to say the graphics are "a complete joke" comes across as you just wanting to complain about something...

            my pros:
            • running game, the lanes open up if you follow your blockers
            • passing game, receivers run decent routes and your line usually gives you time to do a couple check downs
            • player movement, seems pretty fluid

            my cons:
            • every tackle looks like a horse collar or face mask
            • very easy to over-pursue
            • is there a hit stick this year???
            • Corso and Herbstreet's commentary doesnt match whats happening in the game
            • the player animations are off, your team celebrates after the other team does something positive -- and vice versa
            • the qb sneak is an automatic dive (which can also be a good thing, less likely to get stood up and lose yards)
            • the crowd still looks ridiculous and really generic
            • dont like how the camera pans back so far when viewing your play or when the other team goes in motion (but im guessing that might be adjustable in the production version of the game
            )

im sure i'll have more soon...

hit stick is definitely in. I've used it a bunch of times and although i haven't caused any fumbles with it i've made some players get up groggy and i'm pretty sure injured a few.

I haven't tried the qb sneak that everyone is talking about, but my favorite play near the goal line is Florida's QB dive from the 5 wide set. With Tebow i've scored a boatload of tds especially when i've used the PA out of the same formation at other times throughout the game.

played a game on heisman and for the first time the CPU had 2 roughing the passer penalties against me. Both happened on heavy blitz plays by the CPU. One I was in 5 wide and had no protection and the next I was running a HB screen and they came through pretty fast. This is not something I have normally seen in a game. I am having zero success running the ball with Florida. I am trying to run the qb choice or option plays but am having no luck.

try sweep or toss plays w/ florida's RB's. They are burners, I love 'em

Yeah, you're right, it's there... i guess i was just expecting the screen to shake, lol... and I'm so use to Madden, where you can hit stick people even when you're trailing the ball carrier. In the few games I've played in the demo, I have ppl lined up for kill shots with the safety and it just seemed like the hit stick had vanished -- I wasn't making any highlight film hits.

i just went and played a quick 8 min game in NCAA 09 to see if the graphics really changed any... smh, i don't know what the guy saying the graphics downgraded is looking at. NCAA 10 actually looks more colorful and vibrant.

The offense has really improved. The player movements feel much more fluid. I'll really be sold if the WR's and DB's go up and get the ball like they should. I was just playing '09 with Maryland and Heyward-Bey goes up for everything in his vicinity. All the extra features included in the game modes alone should make it worth the buy.

IMO the QB sneak is more realistic. In real life, the QB usually gets the snap, leans on a lineman and just pushes forward and falls forward for the first or td. In NCAA 09, the qb sneak, the qb would get the snap and there would be a hole and he would run through it and pick up 3-5 yards a pop. In NCAA 10, the QB gets the snap, goes towards the designated hole and falls forward a yard or 2, he doesnt just fall flat without moving, its as if he's pushing forward fighting for that yard so its actually more realistic since a QB sneak is only supposed to get you a yard or 2.

I'm interested to see if the defense can shut it down or if the QB always gets that yard because ive only ran it and seen it run once and i got the yard for the td that i needed.

I still haven't seen a shotgun snap go over the QB's head. I really want to see it and I have put in probably 75+ games on the demo.

I know this is minor, but why does EA have so much trouble implementing a proper dive animation for trailing defenders? When you are trying to chase down a ballcarrier from behind and you push dive, you actually lose ground on the ballcarrier, thus making the dive entirely pointless.

Because diving is actually slower in real life than running? You can't propel yourself forward faster with a dive than if you are running. The only thing a dive can be beneficial for is trying to trip up the ball carrier by hitting his feet. This is another reason why you rarely see people slide into First Base in Baseball.

No, that's incorrect. In the very short term (obviously) diving is slightly faster and allows you to get your arms around the ballcarrier, which is why you see people dive to tackle someone from behind in real life. Diving propels your upper body forward just enough to get your arms around the lower body or trip them up. If diving were slower you would never see anyone dive in real life. In the game, there is no point in trying to dive because you will never get close to getting your arms around even their feet.
