So for the first time ever I decided to sim a year to create a coach then take an offer. Problem was I didn't know I had to create him before the offseason. So I ended up having to sim 2 years. When I created my guy the first offer I got was OC at Oregon. Take instantly and sim to next stage. It's players leaving and we have 3 senior CB's projected to go first 2 rounds, but DAT isn't entering the draft even though he's graduating. I didn't see Mariota so I went to depth chart and I was so happy. He was 99 ovr. 96 speed, 99 awareness, 95 throw power, 89 accuracy, 96 elusiveness, and 99 stamina and injury. Haven't played a game yet but I'm going to try jt2000's fastbreak offense so I've already nicknamed my team Greatest Show on Turf 2.0 It should be fun.

Re: What are your best dynasty stories?
PAC 12 dynasty from '11 I think. We picked teams out of a hat. 6 teams I had first draw, Washington. Jake Locker was my man. First game threw for 400 ran for 100 more. Just dominated. 2nd game gets hurt. Broken leg, done for season. Didn't give two licks about this dynasty since I was in two others.
Ended up going 11-1. Beat 12-0 user (roommate) for the title and went on to win the ship in a league I didn't care about.

Re: What are your best dynasty stories?
Just won national championship for fourth consecutive year with Oregon and ended the season ranked #2 with a flawless 14-0 record. I'm thinking it's time for me to retire ncaa 14.

Re: What are your best dynasty stories?
In my dynasty Cal went 0-12. Oregon went 13-1 and won the NC in overtime.. There only loss was to Oregon state lol. Cal hired Oregons OC as their HC so it will be interesting to see how that plays out. Andre Williams also rushed for a ridiculous 3,078 yards on the season. Never seen a CPU put up those numbers in a season ever.NFL - Las Vegas Raiders

Re: What are your best dynasty stories?
It's not a difficulty issue, I play every snap, it's that despite my winning the game continues to lower my ranking in the polls, what kind of logic would have the loser of national championship still ranked #1 at the end of the season.

Re: What are your best dynasty stories?
At Clemson I had a star junior running back that just won the hiesman and we won the National Championship. Well he was going to go to the draft but I was able to convince him to stay for his senior year. The 1st week of the season he gets hurt and has to sit out for all but the last two games. Well in his place my back up running back had one of the best seasons rushing in school history and was leading the hiesman race. But then my starter comes back he takes his place back and rushes for 200 plus yards in both of his last two games and gets drafted in the first round for a great come back story. The back up finishes second in the hiesman race but comes back the next year and he wins the heismen.Comment

Re: What are your best dynasty stories?
One of the most memorable moments I ever had was back on NCAA Football 12, playing as LSU in the national championship game against Penn State. I cannot remember much about regulation, but I remember going to not one, but two, overtimes.
In the second overtime, I had the ball first and failed to score either a field goal or a touchdown. I was so disappointed for having lost the game, so I decided to just keep sending the blitz. They ran the ball twice, gaining minimal yardage. They ran the ball for a third straight time and one of my linebackers stripped the ball off their running back and one of my defenders picked the ball up and ran it all the way back for a walk-off touchdown.
I have never cheered that loud over a win. It is still one of my favorite gaming moments.Comment

Re: What are your best dynasty stories?
My most memorable moments come from NCAA 12:
a.) A Hail Mary (ok... four verticals, but this was before I learned not to cheese) victory against Oklahoma as IU, I don't remember a whole bunch about it, but I was happy
b.) Another Hail Verticals win, this time as Team Builder Delaware against USC in the Rose Bowl. This lead to me starting my own rivalry and playing against USC every year.
c.) My national title with Delaware, which I won on a blocked field goal against TCU. It was pretty sweet!
d.) A crazy dynasty game as IU against Michigan State which went to somewhere between 7 and 9 overtimes (it's been so stinking long that I don't even remember anymore!) Sadly I lost, and being a silly 8th grader I reset the game so I could "win" it.
It's funny to think about now that even tho it's kinda shallow that so many of my wins came off cheesing and resets, I had sooooooo much fun playing that way then. Just part of growing up I guess.NFL - Indianapolis Colts

Re: What are your best dynasty stories?
I have a good dynasty story just came into play today. MLK Day. I have a Texas Tech dynasty and just finished 2018. We were slated to go into the National title game against a 12-1 Tennessee team. Seems fairly routine, but here is were the story breaks. First about three seasons ago my two bookends on the defensive line who lead the nation in sacks came into Texas Tech as transfers from of all places Tennessee. So they get sweet revenge on a team they were not happy with. Second story, I only play 11 game seasons, our running back finished second in the Heisman voting. Losing to the Tennessee running back. So in the Title game we triumph by wining 41-0 over Tennessee and their running back only managed about 39 yards while ours have about 130 yards and 2 TDs. The bookends caused much havoc all game. Next season the bookends are back for their senior seasons, but my back went to the NFL he was a senior though.Currently playing: (In order of Most Time)

Re: What are your best dynasty stories?
Every year a close friend and I do an online dynasty together, like most people we start as a 1 star school coordinator and try to build ourselves up. I chose to be the O coordinator at UMass and he was the D coordinator at USA. We always play each other every year and we always make it week one, that way, there could be a chance for us to meet again in the national championship or some bowl game one day. We simulate every other game and only recruit and manage our teams during the season. I killed him in the first game, but went on to only win 2 more game I believe. Somehow no one in the country was recruiting the number 1 QB in the nation, a scrambler, and I got him to commit in the offseason of year one. My friend had a decent class as well as I did, so we were about even heading into the second season. Again, I killed him, and went on to win 4 or 5 games, but he somehow gets 8 wins and a bowl game with a very bad team. Neither of us had great classes, but they were very solid and we had about the same level team at the start of year 3. Well, my star QB started as a true freshman, but somehow my senior progressed to a 90 overall, by far the best on my team, so he started and I redshirted my stud. This was the best decision I could have made. Week one I play my buddy and it is as laggy as it has ever been. Horrible game, I wanted to quit so many times and eventually just stopped trying to do anything. I somehow won 14-7 and then went on to run the table the rest of the way, beating Northern Illinois and Kansas on the way, along with 2 FCS teams. I slowly climbed the ranks, breaking the top 25 after win 6 and, after a few losses late by the top teams, I got to number one after the season. (CRAZY)
I get matched up with UCLA and my QB finishes 5th in the Heisman voting, while having no talent around him (he progressed to 99 awareness, along with my CB having 99 awareness). Then exactly what I expected happened, I lost by 3 scores lol. I didn't deserve to be there anyway. Well when the offseason came around I was excited to see what job offers I might get, but I never did get to see them. My head coach left and the first job I got offered was the head coach at UMass, I took it in a heartbeat. (My buddy kept his job at USA, but they hires Bo Pelini as his head coach, so I might have my work cut out for me in the future.)Comment

Re: What are your best dynasty stories?
About 15 years into my first dynasty (1 year teambuilder OC, 2 years Alabama OC, 3 years HC Oklahoma and 9 years HC Alabama), I "retired" for 4 seasons (let my HC contract at Bama expire, but signed as OC and put everything on autopilot while concentrating on another coach at UMass), then came back as Virginia's HC. At the time, Virginia was a 1-start school with about 12 wins in 9 seasons.
I began rebuilding the Virginia program and by my 3rd year, I was 11-0 going into my rivalry game vs. Virginia Tech. I was #3 with Georgia Tech at 12-0 and #2, waiting for me in the ACC Championship Game. I laid a huge egg, and Virginia Tech went up 35-7 on me in the first half. It only got worse from there as my 2 QBs teamed up for 7 INTs. I don't even remember what the final was, but VaTech definitely scored upwards of 50 points on me. The ACC Championship was a loss too, but I did win my bowl game.
The next season, I start 0-2 (4 losses in 5 games for the only time in my coach's career), before winning the next 9. In my "revenge" game against Virginia Tech, I laid another egg in the first half, going down 31-0.
In the second half, after stopping VaTech's opening drive, I begin mounting a comeback. Four touchdowns (including one on a jet sweep QB screen play out of the wildcat) and 3 2PCs later, it's tied at 31. But then, my next drive stalls and VaTech marches down the field to make it 38-31. My QB leads an incredible drive with 2 4th and long conversions, but my offense stalls and I'm left with a 4th and goal at the 1 yard line with 0:01 left. Finally, I hit a fullback run for 6 and kick the extra point to send it into overtime.
In OT, I get the ball first and score after 3 rushing plays. Then my cornerback gets a 3rd down pick to cap the comeback victory, 45-38. Behind the momentum, I demolish GaTech in the ACC Championship and never lose another game as I win my bowl game and go 14-0 next season, winning the NC (wrecking VaTech 70-14 in the process).Comment

Re: What are your best dynasty stories?
In NCAA 13 I was HC at Uconn and recruited a 5* 6'6 TE. He was fast , I can't remember his exact stats but too fast .... So he became a WR after he redshirted. You wouldn't believe how dominate this kid was. Broke every school record in his 4 years starting and helped me win a NC. It made me love playing the game. This might go in a different thread but to me it's a fantastic story.Comment
